Very good leisure centre
I have recently joined this Gym. Very nice Leisure centre. The staff are very kind and very helpful. cafe is very nice and even the staff over there who are working are very kind. I am being following Yoga ,the teachers are very kind and helpful.The atmosphere is very good & clean.
i haven't used all the facility yet.So do not know about Swimming pool areas and other classes yet. That is why not giving 5 star now.
Furthermore, the reason I didn't give 5 star because all the time staff are not around in the gym. i was there more than 1 hr doing gym staff were not there, I have to get help and advise from the members who were there to use the machines. Don't know whether they are showing me correctly.

Swim/sports hall and staff
Each member of staff has been extremely helpful and pleasant. I joined with the £38 membership which means if I visit on average 3 times per week it works out to £3 per visit which is a fair price. Others users of the centre have been very welcoming. The swimming pool changing/shower areas are rather tired looking but I have been told they are due for an upgrade. A bright and spacious building. The sports hall all very clean with good badminton and pickle nets.

Friendly and welcoming, great facilities
Couldn’t believe the improvement to this leisure centre since it has been taken over by Better. Good value membership, helpful and friendly staff, plenty of parking. Glad to see the facilities are well used. Other users are smiley and polite. Opening my membership went a bit wrong but the staff at all levels were prompt and helpful sorting it out. Impressed.

Very happy
So far so good- the gym I joined is very well equipped, the staff are friendly and helpful and the cost is within my budget. The online booking system took a little getting used to but it’s actually a great idea. I wish there was a way of suspending membership for reasons like travel since I am away overseas for 5 months a year but I think for most people paying on a rolling direct debit is great.

Great classes and clean changing rooms
Brilliant classes, good instructors. My children do the swimming lessons which are good, and they are small groups of children. Changing rooms are clean and big and never busy.

Better at Leatherhead with Darren Pope and team delivering improvements
Leatherhead Leisure Centre has improved enormously since Better took over.
A lot of improvements were necessary and obviously they can’t all be done at once, but the changes made have been welcomed with more in the pipeline.
The manager is a breath of fresh air. Very approachable, a good listener and keen to get things right for his customers.
I’m looking forward to the next programme of improvements.

Good classes
Whilst I really have enjoyed my recent classes the instructors at both classes did not ask if anyone was new or if anyone has injuries etc that they needed to know about . One class that was supposed to be 45 minutes was 30.

Would like more classes in early afternoon 12-2 pmish and some classes v busy so hard to get into eg Yoga on a Monday morning so would love that teacher to be offered more classes
