Hygiene rating should be a zero
The level of cleanliness and hygiene in the women’s changing room is disgustingly awful. I have time and time again spoken to Ashley but he is rude and actually laughed at me when I told him faeces was scrapped all down one cubicle. He even tried to laugh it off as rust from a nail. Come on please don’t treat me like I’m stupid. Things will never change because all complaints are led to him and he chooses to ignore them. There is no number or way of communicating above the link centre itself. I’ve tried council so I will now keep trying and posting EVIDENCE online now.
The change room are filthy , water traps especially in toilet area are filled with long term hair and gunk. Showers are generally cold or not working. Winter is usually the worst time and we actually get unwell after swimming. It’s a shame if I felt they respected us and worked with us it would be different. I don’t want them to respond their contrived response because the relevant people will be told is Ashley and HE DOESNT CARE. I have lots of evidence and pictures of how disgusting 🤢 it is . BETTER if you do care DO SOMETHING!!

Great Experience
I always avoided the gym because, quite frankly, the gym equipment scared me. Since joining the Menopause Strength classes my attitude is very different. The instructor, Liv, explains and demonstrates each piece of equipment and the exercise to be completed. She keeps a close eye on us and gives us plenty of guidance and encouragement. I am now able to lift barbells and am confident to use the gym equipment outside of classes. There is also a great social aspect of the class where we help and encourage each other with the exercises.
I have also been attending Karen's yoga sessions for a few years and as a result I have noticed a huge improvement in my strength, flexibility and wellbeing.
The staff on reception are always friendly, helpful and welcoming and will always pass the time of day unless they are dealing with another customer.

Some great gym classes
Some great gym classes, really enjoy the Menopause Strength - Women Only & the lunch time circuit’s & strength classes. Liv is a great instructor always ready with alternatives to exercises so the classes are really inclusive.

I really enjoy the Aqua classes all the…
I really enjoy the Aqua classes all the instructors are great and the strength classes for women with Liv is brilliant. The link centre is welcoming for everyone. The new gym is fantastic. The staff are all happy to help. It has a lot of classes and the pool is great for casual swim and lessons.

How lucky to have the Link Leisure…
How lucky to have the Link Leisure Centre on my doorstep which offers so much - it has one of the best swimming pools in Swindon, spacious rooms for their range of fitness classes and a large gym with a vast range of modern equipment. It is great to see new classes being trialled, such as the ‘Menopause-strength’ for woman, designed and successfully run by Liv. She makes you feel energised, supported and instils confidence. I love the spacious environment and…
I love the spacious environment and having plenty of choice in workout machines. Staff are friendly, approachable and helpful. I have gained more confidence and stamina since I started attending for Liv's Sunday class as I learn how to use the machines correctly. Liv is an excellent instructor with great knowledge and is always ready to encourage and advise.

Ladies fitness classes
The gym classes are great, especially the ladies ones. Liv is a brilliant fitness instructor, always encouraging and supportive. The menopause class is such a good innovation, welcoming to all. Please keep up the good work!

Great classes and instructors
Great range of classes and fabulous instructors.
Heating has unfortunately been an issue since the flood 4 years ago.
Liv (ladies strength class), Karen (yoga) and Adrianna (yoga, dance, Pilates and mindfulness) are all so knowledgeable and helpful it makes the centre a joy to visit (let’s hope the heating in studio 1 is finally fixed for this winter)

The best swimming experience for Nana…
The best swimming experience for Nana thanks to her swimming teachers Dan and Carol. Carol has taught Nana since she was 13 months she’s the best swimming teacher ever for youngsters or for adults. She’s so nurturing patient and a really good teacher. She’s taught my whole family how to swim including me. She makes it so easy and makes it exciting. Also Dan is a very good teacher my children love him they don’t wanna swim
