I knocked off 1 star as facilities for disabled showering. There is only 1 and most of the time able people are using it and I have to stand waiting for them to come out, in the meantime I am getting... Voir plus

Far too expensive
I do not understand how Truro can cost so much more than other leisure centres I use. I visit from time to time when in the area as I need to do fitness classes for my health. But the classes here at £11.45 are (in my opinion) extortionate for anyone on a lower income (I'm an OAP). As I only use occasionally, the membership offers are no help. I live in West Sussex, and for identical classes I pay £7.15 per session. I really think Better need to have a hard think about how they are adversely affecting people who really need their services, but are priced out of them.

The spinning class that I attended was…The spinning class that I attended was great and the instructor full of energy which made the time pass.
Overall the Centre is clean and well run. My biggest complaint is the lockers. On 90% of the lockers, the lock is broken or the wrist band is missing. Can this be fixed ASAP

Great staff always friendly and helpful i have been going to water aerobics for a few months now and have loved every minute of it Danielle is an excellent teacher works you hard and I'm seeing results hopefully by the end of the year I won't need my knee replacement,i look forward to her classes knowing she is doing me some good keep it up.

Frozen Account due to Health Issues
You said my account was frozen due to my health issues and credits would be applied to my account for part of December and whole of January but you have continued to take the full direct debit amount of £43.00 on 07/01/26!

When the freeze has been processed, the January payment was already due on the system, as the request was less than 20 days from the direct debit set date. However, I can now confirm your membership is frozen, and you have a membership credit on your account to cover the next payment.

Took my first swimming lesson as a ‘senior’ last week. The instructor was amazing and has given me confidence in the water . Looking forward to lesson 2!

Overall very happy
Friendly and welcoming staff always, which makes it a nice place to go to.
Great variety of classes and lots on the schedule so that I can make the most of my membership.
My only negative is that upstairs is a bit messy and looks tired, could do with a revamp.

I don’t know what went wrong but…
I don’t know what went wrong but apparently they are not aware that there is a class booked. I have to ask and wasted maybe 10-15 min for the teacher to cover the class and its only a 30min session. Teacher is nice but it looks like they just want to get it over and move to the next class. Not a good experience for a first timer.

Gym's
As the gym is small all of the equipment should be in good order. But 2 good bits of equipment are out of order and have been for a week. In other gyms you can use something else but the gym is so small you are limited

Good value with a great range of facilities
We joined the leisure centre and signed up for a gym induction. The gym instructor showed us how to use a range of equipment, paying attention to our goals and previous experience. He explained that after six weeks of training we could ask to move on to more advanced equipment. The memberships are good value, and as well as the gym there is a decent-sized swimming pool and exercise classes, which are mostly in the evenings. Changing rooms are generally clean and tidy. Bring your own toiletries for the showers.
