If you contact us, you'll be speaking to someone at our Craft Bakery in Harrogate. They are as close as you can be to the heart of our business without being sat next to the bread ovens, so you will be in expert hands.
We aim for perfection but from time to time things don't go to plan, so if the worst happens we will always do all we can to put it right.
Every person in our team has the authority to make decisions on their own, so they will do their best to fix things there and then. They will only pass you along or check in with a colleague when the question absolutely requires it.

Poor quality items.
The diamond French fancies were disguistong and lacked flavour. The other individual loaf's were also not great. Overpriced and over produced rubbish unfortunately. The name doesn’t always mean quality.

All the staff from Betty's were fabulous from start to finish. There was a mistake made by the delivery company and Betty's staff were all over it so quickly. Even thpugh it was not their mistake, they took control and responsibility for resolving. The issue was resolved to everyone's satisfaction so speedily. We were very impressed with their customer service. Would use again no problem.

Short dated
The use by date on our cakes was the day that they arrived. We'd ordered quite a bit so there was no way it'd get eaten in one day.

Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the best before dates on the Rascals; we do suggest that these freshly baked cakes are best eaten within 1-2 days of delivery, to enjoy at their very best (they can also be frozen). As they don't contain preservatives, after a few days the cakes will become stale and the taste and texture won't be as fresh as expected. Also, this is just our recommendation - it's a best before, not a use by date.
We do advise customers on the short best before dates, so they can make an informed choice before purchase. On each of the online product pages, advice is given where the cakes need to be eaten, eg best enjoyed on day of delivery. This is also noted in the shopping bag, where relevant.
