If you contact us, you'll be speaking to someone at our Craft Bakery in Harrogate. They are as close as you can be to the heart of our business without being sat next to the bread ovens, so you will be in expert hands.
We aim for perfection but from time to time things don't go to plan, so if the worst happens we will always do all we can to put it right.
Every person in our team has the authority to make decisions on their own, so they will do their best to fix things there and then. They will only pass you along or check in with a colleague when the question absolutely requires it.

Short dated
The use by date on our cakes was the day that they arrived. We'd ordered quite a bit so there was no way it'd get eaten in one day.

Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the best before dates on the Rascals; we do suggest that these freshly baked cakes are best eaten within 1-2 days of delivery, to enjoy at their very best (they can also be frozen). As they don't contain preservatives, after a few days the cakes will become stale and the taste and texture won't be as fresh as expected. Also, this is just our recommendation - it's a best before, not a use by date.
We do advise customers on the short best before dates, so they can make an informed choice before purchase. On each of the online product pages, advice is given where the cakes need to be eaten, eg best enjoyed on day of delivery. This is also noted in the shopping bag, where relevant.

I had long wanted to try Betty's , it was lovely cake , a great delivery experience but I think they are frightfully overpriced.. £23 for 6 small fancies is way overpriced and I had to pay delivery on top 🫣

At Bettys, we handcraft our luxury treats in Harrogate and use the best ingredients we can find - usually sourced locally in Yorkshire. We know we're not the cheapest, but we do believe that we offer value for money because of the quality and the absolute care and attention that goes into every product. 60th birthday treat…
Bought some treats for a 60th celebration. Had our 2 daughters visiting, 1 used to work at the Ilkley Bettys so it was nice to get a few of our favourites. All lovely and tasty.

Excellent delivery of goods
Excellent delivery of goods, but feel their length of time to use their discount vouchers falls way short. It's an expensive way to send goods and not everyone can afford to use their discount codes within a few weeks of receiving them and am herewith unsubscribing from their service.
