No carbonations in various drinks

I stopped buying Monster after finding several cans with no carbonation on two separate occasions. I complained and they told me they didn't give refunds. I recently bought a Coke Variety pack and the first bottle I opened had no carbonation. No more carbonated drinks from BJ's

Happy Customer

We visited the new BJ’s in Palm Coast Florida today and was very pleased. We found everything we needed and more. Our checkout person, Bridget L. took the time to find the coupons I had neglected to clip and saved us $10. The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful. We definitely will return!

Refund takes forever

Cancelled my membership after 3 days. I was told you will get a refund on your card within 2 weeks. Now its been 3 weeks and I had to ask for my refund. Customer service is sucks. If you are looking for any sort of refund good luck.

I have NO STARS.to give one star because there…

I have to give one star because there is no ZERO STAR.
These people are liars. I waited in onto occasions for a tv to be delivered. Their "customer Services" (HUH!) told me that the delivery van had been to my house and knocked. Lie! I was in house all day. They said they had tried to call me. Lie! I have my mobile with me at all times and no missed calls. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE USELESS.

They shipped me an order with much of…

They shipped me an order with much of it damaged and unusable. I have since sent them two emails with pictures, and I have not heard back from anyone. This was well over a week ago. I am not happy with BJ's and will not renew my membership.

Edit: I have changed my review from a one star to a 4 star. Customer service stepped up and fixed the issue. All is good.

Their reps will lie to you

Their reps will lie to you. I chatted with one of their reps and kept the transcript of that chat. The rep lied to me and told me I could use my membership after I moved by having the company ship my orders. However, when I tried to order, I got a message saying they do not ship to my zip code. When I contacted them and told them of the situation, their response was to tell me there were no locations near me which I, of course, knew because I Googled their locations. In essence, they did not care that I had been lied to and they also didn't care that the response they gave me was condescending at best. My advice is to use Costco or Sam's Club instead. All of them just want our money but at least those two provide good customer service.

The bjs in Southington is awesome but…

The bjs in Southington is awesome but the bakery for them to make a birthday cake is awful cause the butter cream is so sweet and I never had a cake that stains your lips and teeth. Its too too sweet not worth it and the first and last time going to buy a birthday cake. Also the short older lady with glasses always in a rush and complaining doing her job which she did not do a good job it’s just terrible cake. Carvel ice cream cake tastes way better.

Disappointed

I went to do shopping. BJ Tampa No cashier only self check out. There was a line up. My cart was full to the top, it was hard to scan each items. Especially water I couldn't find portable scanner. I lifted the water to the top. I had to wait for someone due to a problem scanning an item. Very disappointed

No customer service

I was told, at the time I signed up, that I would not be automatically charged when my membership expired. That was a lie. I had signed up in January and in February, of the following year, the charge was on my card. When I went into BJ's to cancel, I was told that I had to do it in January. When shopping there, you have to look up each coupon in book, or app, in order to get that price. Too much work, plus self check out? They should be paying me! At Costco's if you are a member, you automatically get the low price.

Extremely Poor Experience

At this point, I’m contacting every ex executive that I can find that works for BJ’s because I am extremely disappointed. I placed an order on July 7, 2024 July 8 I got an email saying that my order is shipped. I follow the tracking. It says awaiting carrier pick up. It’s been on a waiting carrier pick up for three weeks. I start calling on Thursday of last week. I believe that was the 18th asking for order status can’t get an answer from customer service then I call back again starting this week and I have a ticket created at this point yesterday I asked for an order cancellation because literally no one can tell me where the order is. What happened to it why it hasn’t shipped why there are discrepancies is saying that the order is been completed on the BJ’s app and it’s still waiting carrier pick up and I don’t have the order. I’ve asked for an order cancellation. I’ve called back twice in the last 24 hours asking for the cancellation status. You guys have stolen money from me at this point. I want my money back.

I placed an online order on July 2, 2024 and used an instant coupon offered by bjs. On July 17, 2024 after waiting for delivery over two weeks I get notified that the order is cancelled due to a processing issue. I contact customer service and am told that the problem was due to pricing, basically they did not honor the coupon that they offered! I questioned their cancellation of the order to be told about a policy they have in their terms of use under section 5 alloying them to reserve the right to change prices or specifications of goods and services offered on their website or in their stores at any time without notice or liability. Additionally they add that they explicitly mention that pricing and typographical errors may occur and product descriptions and pricing information are never guaranteed. So basically-they can do whatever they please and disregard the customer and need not stand behind any advertisement they list on line or in store. It is a very unfriendly customer policy and I will not be a loyal customer to BJ's any more

Don't purchase on your card

Don't purchase on your card, it'll take weeks before you get it back. I'm on week 3 of waiting for my reimbursement of them overcharging me 3x what I initially ordered. They need to work on their technical issues so others won't have to go through what I did. Never again. On top of that, they don't even have good deals. If you look at the prices of things, theyre literally the same or a penny different from other places in price comparison.

I am shocked at all of the 1 star…

I am shocked at all of the 1 star reviews! My experience has been way different. I live in a state where BJ's is new, so I am excited to have a Costco competitor. The staff is always helpful, the store is always clean. There are things I prefer at Costco, but my anxiety just spikes in that store because of all the people. So I enjoy BJs because I do not feel overwhelmed. I like that you can clip coupons on the app as well. The gas prices are usually better than at my Costco. Oh, you can also scan the barcode on the app instead of needing to use the card......that's another bonus over Costco.

After multiple orders that were not handled properly, the final straw was when -- and not for the first time -- the delivery person ignored the CAPITALIZED instructions, which caused exactly the problems I was trying to avoid. I called BJs corporate four times to request a prorated refund of my delivery subscription fee, and each time was promised that I would be called back within three days -- and never did. Yes, I saved 'case numbers' and names -- and at this point it's just not worth the effort anymore. I've been a member for many years, and clearly am not valued, There are plenty of other warehouse store options.

UPDATE: I sent a letter to the CEO of BJs, and copied the text above. I received the refund within two days.

Horrible service..its been 7 days since i reported my rewards were used in another state n i still havent heard anything about them taking care of giving my rewards back to me. How did someone in another state use my rewards.the service is horrible. Multiple emails and noone cares

Worst wholesale club ever

I got charged 4 times when the membership got renewed by itself, I called customer service, chatted online, sent them emails, all they said was they were gonna take care of the issue, its been over a month and still I have no money, no refund and every time I call they said the same thing, "We are going to escalate the issue"... do whatever you have to do but give me my money...
Stay away from this wholesale club, it's the worst

( the boss should think about increasing their salary because if i had to use jobs for my own buisness i would do just because of them)

BJs: work on quality for value

Honestly the workers are nice and say hello back or answer questions when asked but I can tell often they are overwhelmed with their duties and seems like less staff in store than four or five years ago, sad as technology isn't more enjoyable an experience than actual people imo. The meat quality is still better than other grocery stores I go to occasionally (especially the ground beef), compared to the mega wall grocery mart place and the named after a large cat grocery store for example, but the boneless chicken breast is hit or miss these days so I stick with the bone in thigh packs now. Good prices comparatively, although it's gone up similarly to other retailers and packages shrank on certain things. Quality is important to me like many others who shop for value over straight up cheapest price so hopefully they keep that in mind while integrating changes.-Taylor Rd Chesapeake VA location shopper
