Terrible to charge people especially…

Terrible to charge people especially now to spend money to buy anything in your store when I'm already spending money to buy things. BJ'S should be ashamed to take money from people to shop in your store

Great prices vs Amazon on most items

Great prices vs Amazon on most items. Great service especially at the deli counter. Their prices on deli items are by far the best. Gas is always a better deal too. We usually shop at Mooresville NC store. Michele in deli was excellent service.

If I could give a ZERO for this review…

If I could give a ZERO for this review I would. Went to the club on January 27, 2023 to get gas and shop. The way the gas station here is set up is so ass backwards. It took literally 30 minutes to gas up. Just as I pulled up to the pump after a 15 minute wait, the nasty gas pumper said that I need to pull the car around again, because they do not have long hoses. Yet another 15 minute wait.
Went inside to do some shopping. It's pouring rain, so you would figure that they would have the shopping carts either indoors, or under a roof on the walkway. No, they don't. Costco does.
Was shopping for a cordless vacuum. Saw the one we liked, but could't find it on the shelves. I took a picture of the vacuum, stock number and price. Went to customer service figuring that maybe it's overstocked somewhere else in the store. Nope! He told me that they discontinued carrying this model in this particular store. If that's the case, take damn display off the shelf.
Called the corporate office. You cannot speak with anyone there. The call gets routed to the Philipines and of course you can't understand a word from the rep. I cancelled my membership on January 29, 2023 and a refund was supposed to have been issud to my cc within 7-10 busness days. Today in March 1, 2024 ans still no refund. Called customer service again. They have no record of my calling the first time. Now, I need to wait yet another 7-10 days.
This is a disgraceful company to deal with and do business with. I'll stick with COSTCO

1Annoyed Customer

1. The Customer Care Department is the PITS!! No one never answer the phone.
2. BJs quality of meat, especially the boneless skinless chicken breasts, has deteriorated. They brand it Perdue's, but it's definitely not!!
3. Where one could get 2 slabs of baby back ribs for $16-$20+, you now only get 1 slab for $13+.
4. When using Same Day Delivery, the shoppers do not communicate with the customer in case changes need to be made.
5. IN ALL TOTAL, SOME SERIOUS CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE!!!

Stale Muddy Bites

We were taken to Bj’s with a family friend in Palm Bay, Florida and we purchased 6 Muddy bites as we don’t get them in Canada . Each and every packet was stale and had a horrendous stench upon opening. Such a waste of money. Had to throw out all of them

Management is awful

Management is awful, maybe if they stop micro managing and become team player , jump in and help out. 7 time I have gone there and no one working at the food stand,they say we have no one to work the concession. But will have a greeter at the entrance. So not needed!!!..other employees standing around talking. Like the lady was today . She could have kept it open if she worked it instead of socializing with a cashier.

stale carrot cake

I've shopped at the Clay NY location for about 2 years. I have to be observant of prices because many items are cheaper elsewhere. But my biggest complaint by far, is their bakery. The Wellsley Farms baked goods are never good. Recently purchased a 2-layer round carrot cake, it was dry, stale, and lacked flavor. Carrot cake should contain shredded carrot, raisins, walnuts, and some recipes pineapple; this cake had hardly any of the ingredients. The whole cake had maybe 8 raisins total, no nuts that I could detect, and only once did I find a single piece of shredded carrot. It was basically a dry stale spice cake. Definitely not worth the $20 spent.

Stay clear of this merchant

Stay clear of this merchant. It has a track record of not honoring many reward offers. Customer service is terrible, all words, no actions. Have to cancel my memership after more than 10 years. Enough is enough.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. Cashier was nasty. Yelled to be, “don’t be putting nothing big up on that belt.” I asked what she considered big and she said, “I ain’t liftin’ no soda.”
I decided to go to another line, but then decided to just leave my full cart and go to Walmart.

I recently had the pleasure of encountering a remarkable individual,avona I think, a woman whose perpetual smile and warm greetings effortlessly create an uplifting atmosphere and Her infectious positivity consistently leaves me feeling welcomed and in good spirits.

BJ’s-dilapidated store and customer service is in need of change

12/26/23-20th Ave, College Point location
Go elsewhere

The worst customer service, no restrooms available for male and female customers, bottle deposit machines were either broken or barely functioning. Two plastic bottle machines were broken, glass machine worked, aluminum can machine worked for a short time.
Customer service personnel stated she couldn’t take the plastic and aluminum can deposits.
Went to ShopRite-plastic and aluminum can deposits were taken care of in 3 mins.

At BJ’s
No reason was given by associate:her and manager-Jose.
I noticed the store manager and two associates were just standing around chit chatting while I stood in line to pay for my merchandise. I got photos.

Management level people need to be changed asap.
I called the 1-800 #. No response as of 12/28/23.

Shoppers, please shop elsewhere.
ShopRite is clean and associates are helpful and friendly.

Hoodwinking BJ's wholesale

A rating of 1 is overrated!!! This place went down..im a previous 25 year member who spent thousands upon thousands of dollars in this store, just to have them treat me like dirt. Done👍🏿
Sams Club & Costco. Trust me? You won't save money shopping at BJ's

Overcharged Sales Tax

On December 5, 2023, I purchased a Samsung b53 soundbar. The item was on sale for $147.99 and the original price was $219.99. BJ's, 339 Gateway Drive, Brooklyn, NY., charged sales taxes on the original price rather than the sale price. (I was charged $19.52 sales tax rather than the appropriate amount of $13.13. I was overcharged $6.39 in sales tax.

I went back to the store and showed my receipt to customer service. I explained the problem but the BJ’s customer service representative refused to examine the receipt. She said the receipt was correct. I asked to speak to the store manager and she said she was the store manager. I replied politely, “I know you are not the store manager. The store manager is: Andre Batts!” She laughed and said the store manage was not in.

I wanted to buy 48 cupcakes from BJ’s

I wanted to buy 48 cupcakes from BJ’s. I called and was shocked to hear them say 50 dollars for 48 cupcakes. I got them from Publix for 31.96. Come on that’s not wholesale that’s highway robbery. I will keep buying them from Publix. You would think they would be a bit more competitive. I also bought some M & M’s Cookies so hard had to dip in coffee just to eat. BJ’s Bakery leaves a lot to be desired.

Don't be fooled by the "Black Friday"…

Don't be fooled by the "Black Friday" sales--they don't have these items in stock, never had them in stock, and won't get them. This is just a ploy to get you into the store. They usually don't have at least half the things on my list that come from the sales flyer. Don't waste your membership fees.

You canceled it without my permission. I wasn’t the one canceled it. I have a money to pay for a membership fees. I don’t care about that money. You told me to pay for it. IT WAS YOUR FAULT / MISTAKE, NOT MINE.

Even you changed me more than what you offered for renewal. I paid it right away unhappily.

You offered me the cheaper membership fees, I agreed, I applied. You cancelled my membership without saying anything to me. You charged me for the surcharge when I thought I was a member with all my stuff in cart.

On the day I renewed my membership. Your representative said I would get my surcharge back. But you didn’t, I messaged and called again, another representative said the same thing. And I’ve been waiting for a month till now for you saying I want to take that my money.

You cheated on me with the cheaper membership fee but you pretend cancel my membership for asked me for the higher fee. Now you also charged me for the surcharge.

HOW BAD YOU ARE BJ’s??🤬😡

I want all of my money back everything. I don’t want to be your membership anymore including all stuff I bought from you + my surcharge right away. I will return all stuff I bought from you.

If you don’t return it to me. I will report it and you will pay back to me everything you cheated on me. You are very very bad scammer.
