Blacks - Meadowhall Avis 

I bought some Merrill trainers today because of Alex’s who’s help was excellent!

Ellie was extremely helpfull and talked me through any issues i had.

Sheila was absolutely wonderful today at blacks in Meadowhall, Sheffield. Very attentive and excellent customer service

Visited Blacks at Meadowhall on Easter Saturday to buy new walking shoes and Garmin. Served by Rhyas who spent time to explain benefits of both products, he was very knowledgeable and patient whilst I tried on both the Berghaus and Altra walking shoes as I am taking part in various Ultra distance hikes. Did not feel rushed in my decision making. The Garmin I wanted was the last one on display, again Rhyas explained benefits of model and took time to understand my requirements. Even though I had to pop back a short time later to collect the Garmin (once it came off display) all the staff who we came into contact with were friendly, knowledgeable and polite. I cannot recommend Blacks in Meadowhall enough!

Alex was very helpful today. We needed some advice about walking shoes for my husband. He is very knowledgeable about the products available. We are very happy with our purchase.

Alex was really great and knowledgeable. I was needing some walking boots and he knew exactly what to get. He explained the qualities and differences of the boots I was looking at, so I understood which would be best for long hikes. Really, really great!

The revised layout of the store is much better with a good choice of products. Staff welcoming and helpful.

Wanted to buy a Gortex jacket but unsure regarding best brand etc. Many thanks to both Malin and Rhyas who were both very helpful. I didn't feel under any pressure to buy - quite the opposite in fact. It was more 'take your time and be happy with your purchase'. I was impressed with the quality of advice offered by Rhyas. Called in today looking for a pair of boots, tried a pair of burghaus on first then a few more , josh was very good and didnt mind keep getting me the different boots to try on, in the end i went with the first pair i tried 😁 nice shop, lovely staff

Rhyas was incredible help! Extremely knowledgeable about the stock and friendly with his advice. He was perfect help for us buying a new raincoat that was appropriate for our hikes without breaking the bank. Would probably have browsed and got scared by the choice without him. A total angel!

What delightful staff. Sheila, who assisted me, couldn’t have been more helpful. I’m unable to get down to the lower shelves but she happily went through the stack until she had found my size. The shop is very welcoming and relaxed and I shall be very happy to frequent it for any future purchases.
