Avoid this company the warranty is not worth the paper it is written on .I have a problem with auto gearbox put in a claim and told they don't cover that part but said with a friendly gesture would give me half I said OK and I will take you to court for the rest . Then they withdrew the offer saying if I wrote a letter saying I would not take them to court they would reinstate the offer that's a sort of blackmail isn't it . I have the premium warranty that says we cover nearly all factory fitted parts except my part how strange is that what a bunch of con men i told them.to keep there offer . I will take them to court it's the principle of it . Do not take out this warranty if offered to you

I have reviewed your claim and can confirm that there is not a valid claim present due to an uncovered component.
As a company, we do not stipulate to cover every component on a vehicle or repair required; the covered components are listed within the vehicle repair agreement booklet under the specific level of cover as stated on the owner certificate.
This agreement covers you for a mechanical or electrical failure to a listed component as stated in the Vehicle Repair Agreement booklet; if the failed component is not listed, it is excluded from this agreement.
Please refer to pages 12, 13, 14, and 15 of the Vehicle Repair Agreement Booklet to view the list of covered components.
Please Note:
A valid claim was not present under the terms of this agreement; however, we still tried to help by authorising 50% towards the repairs.
I can also confirm that at no point did we or have we revoked the goodwill payment offered; the goodwill payment is still live, and we are just awaiting an invoice to be submitted once the repairs are completed.
There has been no discussion or contact with you to revoke the goodwill payment; we kindly ask that you provide proof of the goodwill payment being revoked.
It is your right to go through the courts should you deem necessary; however, please supply your advisors with a copy of our vehicle repair agreement booklet, terms and conditions, and relevant email correspondence.
Once again, the goodwill gesture is still valid and awaiting an invoice for payment to be processed.
I apologise that you are not happy with the outcome of your claim.

Disgusting company
Disgusting company, unprofessional and downright liers. Submitted estimate for work all of which was covered under warranty, mechanic had mistakenly listed as paid, contacted them to notify them of mistake, got correct estimate from mechanic and resent, blue chip even connected mechanic directly who confirmed the work hadn't been done and they FUADULENTLY STILL turned the claim down putting the company near banchruptcy. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, TERRIBLE UNTRUSTWORTHY SCUM.

I have reviewed your claim, and I can confirm that the claim outcome is correct; you did not follow the terms of the agreement.
The correct claims procedure MUST be followed; Bluechip Warranty must be contacted / supplied with an estimate prior to any works being undertaken; All claims and repairs must be authorised before completion. Initial contact also allows us to inspect your vehicle if deemed necessary to ascertain the cause of failure; having the works completed prior to any authorisation has prevented us from completing any checks or inspections.
You opened a claim on 02/08/2024, and for the next month you were advised the claims procedure and terms of this agreement multiple times via phone and email.
You then submitted a VAT invoice for the repairs on the 26/09/2024, and the invoice date was the 23/09/2024, of which we replied asking if the repairs had been completed. You replied, asking if this affects the claim in any way if it's been completed.
We replied, stating yes, as the terms of this agreement had not been followed.
You then stated, “To confirm it hasn't been completed, the garage made a mistake; it's a quote, not an invoice”.
We then contacted your chosen repairer, who confirmed the repair had indeed been completed.
All calls are recorded.
Due to the terms of the agreement not being followed, we were unable to complete the full claim assessment; therefore, your claim was invalid.
Following the outcome of your claim, we then received several abusive emails from yourself towards our team, removing any option of potential help towards your repair. We operate with a strict zero tolerance against verbal abuse towards staff, as stated within our booklet.

Purchased premium warranty, turns out a con
Purchased premium warranty. Car been in garage nearly 4 weeks needs up to £1300 worth repairs and labour , blue chip will only cover £257. The issues are all due to the same problem. Garage charge £60 hour fifteen labour, they will cover £50.
Absolute con artists. I will be sharing this on every social media platform.

Your chosen repairer reported the following faults: N/S/F wheel bearing, front suspension bushes (worn), and front C.V. boots split.
We covered the wheel bearing as this is a listed component within the agreement.
However, the front suspension bushes and C.V. boots are not listed or covered components under this agreement and therefore would not fall within the terms of the agreement.
Regarding the labour rate, you have stated that your repairer charges £60 an hour; this agreement also covers £60 per hour; this is stated within the terms of the agreement and on the authorisation certificate emailed to you; therefore, the labour rates fall in line.
We always recommend the agreement holder review the terms of this agreement in order to familiarise yourself with the features, benefits, definitions, exclusions, and customer requirements.
I apologise that you are not happy with the outcome of your claim; however, we have assessed and authorised the claim correctly.

This warranty company is awful
This warranty company is awful. I purchased a car from a car sales place 3 months ago. I took out the year premium warranty. My fear came alive when I realised there was an issue with the coolant. I asked Bluechip if I was covered and they had said we will open the case. I followed the procedure and got a quote from a VAT registered garage. I needed a replacement throttle body and coolant regulating valve. I’m no mechanics but I thought “wow this is not a quick fix”. Once I sent this to Blue chip they returned to me and said we can only cover the throttle body and not the coolant regulating valve…….. I mean come on.., it says on the brochure that the coolant is covered. Not only that they have only authorised 30 mins labour at £60 ph. What garage have you ever been to and they have said “ come back in 30 mins your work will be done”
This company and their policy is a joke. £2100 worth of repairs and they only offer £727. Avoid as much as you can.

I have located your claim on our system and can see that we authorised our full liability within the parameters of the agreement.
Unfortunately, we do not cover every component on a vehicle, nor do we stipulate to. Our Vehicle Repair Agreement booklet lists all covered components that we can potentially help with should there be a valid claim. These can be found on pages 12, 13, 14, and 15 for your level of cover.
Any component that is not listed is not covered by this Vehicle Repair Agreement. The coolant regulating valve and inlet manifold gaskets are not listed or covered components; therefore, we have been unable to assist with this. Our Vehicle Repair Agreement booklet does not state that we cover the coolant; the booklet clearly lists specific components relating to the coolant system.
Our repair times are based on industry standard Autodata guidelines; we authorised a total of 1.5 hours towards the repairs at the labour rate covered under this repair agreement.
Our authorised amount was previously discussed with you, in which we explained how all costs are calculated.
Although your chosen repairer has quoted you over £2000 for repairs, we can only assist with the costs that fall within our liability, which on this occasion we have done so.
I apologise that you are not happy with the outcome of your claim. At present, we are still awaiting the invoice to be able to process payment to you.
