Would highly recommend a WSG platinum policy and especially Stuart when it comes to a potential claim.

Absolutely awful company
Absolutely awful company, a complete waste of money. The staff are polite at the beginning and give you a welcome call then anything that needs to be claimed for the staff are rude and dismissive. They got out of a claim for a window regulator on the basis that I authorised the repair but I had no option as I needed the car back and they were slow to respond. The invoice and estimate did not change and then they used my service record to get out of the claim. Landrover advised that I have had the car serviced correctly with Landrover main dealerships. Will be reporting this to the motor ombudsman. Really has been an absolute waste of £2000 on their platinum cover.
I have received a reply to this review-the service has been done with landrover themselves and disagree with WSG. The window regulator repair has nothing to do with the service history. The repair had to be authorised as i needed the car back. The estimate and invoice are the same, the claim can still be assessed. WSG have now said that my policy is invalid. I really do not recommend this company. They are rude and dismissive, they just want your money and they do not want to authorise claims. It is an absolute waste of money.

Having reviewed your claim, we note that you contacted us regarding a fault with the window regulator. The claim was assessed by our claims engineer, who carefully considered the information provided and concluded that the claim did not meet the terms and conditions of the warranty. As a result, the claim was declined.
for the reasons of:
1. The repairs were carried out to the window regulator without authorisation from WSG Ltd.
Referring to the warranty booklet How to make a claim it does read that All repairs must be authorised by WSG Ltd before any work can commence. Failure to do so may result in us being unable to pay your claim.
2. The warranty obligations had not been adhered to. The vehicle had not been serviced since the warranty inception date and mileage in accordance with the manufactures service intervals.
The claim engineer reviewed the warranty start date and inception mileage. As the warranty inception date was 09.10.2025 and 69226 miles. It was confirmed that since this date and mileage the vehicle should have been maintained in accordance with the manufactures service intervals. The interval for your model is 12 months or 16000 miles, whichever comes first. We did ask for proof of vehicle service by a VAT registered garage invoice and received a service invoice that confirmed a service date of 19.10.2026 and a mileage of 91246. The claim engineer having reviewed the provided service invoice established the following:
• The vehicle had not been serviced at a twelve-month interval and
• The vehicle mileage at the service carried out was overdue for service by 5900 miles.
Referring to the warranty booklet. The warranty booklet does advise under the heading of Your Obligations it reads.
• To keep your warranty valid, there are a few things you must do:
Have your vehicle serviced regularly as per the manufacturer’s guidelines by a VAT registered garage. You’ve got 30 days or 1,000 miles (whichever is sooner) from the service due date to have it completed. Your vehicle must also be kept in a roadworthy, legal condition and be taxed, insured and hold a current MOT certificate.
Keep hold of the service invoices as we may require them if you need to make a claim. There’s also a page at the end of this booklet for the service stamps.
Regrettably, based on the information available, the vehicle was not serviced in accordance with the manufacturer's prescribed service intervals, and the repairs were undertaken without prior authorisation from WSG Ltd.
Having carefully reviewed all the information and evidence provided, our position in respect of the claims remains unchanged.
While we appreciate that this decision may be disappointing, all claim assessments are made on the basis of the available evidence and in accordance with the terms and conditions set out within the warranty booklet. As such, we are unable to alter the outcome of the claims.
