First time I ordered I got a…

First time I ordered I got a notification a week later to say the product was out of stock.
Ordered on the 29th Nov, apparently dispatched 3rd of Dec but then get a notification on 9th of December to say one of the items is now unexpectedly out of stock , 11 days after my order. Another email today to say the refund could take up to 10 days, at which point they will have had my money for nearly a month. Not at all impressed.
I will say the clothing I did receive is lovely and nice quality but just very slow service as it eventually came on the 10th so nearly 2 weeks after ordering.

Amazing customer service

Had an issue with an open package when it arrived , emailed customer services and received a prompt reply from Evie , who was polite and efficient and very friendly , new items ordered with no quibble

Order placed on 30 November

Order placed on 30 November. No email regarding delivery and no way to check when it will be delivered on their website. Have sent 2 emails and had 2 automated replies saying they will get back in 72 hours. Not good enough. I would like someone from the company to tell me when I will get my order or I would like a refund.
Items delivered finally on 9th December after two emails and successful phone call. Happy with items for the price.

We all have doubts about ordering from online websites especially when its a company that is unfamiliar to us.I have had some seriously bad issues in the past when ordering clothes only to receive garments of very substandard quality and then fighting to obtain refunds plus the hassle of returning the goods.I rarely leave reviews bit today I received two knitted tops from BRAKEBURN of Poole in Dorset at really good sale prices and I'm seriously blown away by the fit ,quality and style of both items.This is a really excellent company and to all those who have suffered at the hands of unscrupulous companies in the past I highly recommend BRAKEBURN who have restored my faith in buying on line.Thank you.

Poor quality

I received a bag, looked perfect online. On opening it there were threads hanging off it inside and out. Not small ones, seriously bad stitching. I returned it and Brakeburn charged ME for returning it. So I paid postage twice for something that wasn't my fault. I wouldn't order any of their products again. Do their suppliers have any Quality Control?

What’s annoying about Brakeburn….

What’s annoying about Brakeburn I have ordered goods from the sale paid and waiting for delivery, then they email to say their out of stock on items ordered online.
This has now happened on three separate occasions. Time to change clothing company.

FABULOUS DRESSES

I love Brakeburn dresses, purchased from John Lewis, they are beautiful, comfortable and well-designed - and they have pockets ! The cost is incredibly reasonable. I have bought 2 recently - Lilliput Midi and Grace V neck and have received complimentary comments from friends for both. I would love to buy more but the styles I'm interested in are, unfortunately, made in lighter, thinner material and I've had to return those I ordered. For winter, day dresses, I prefer warmer material. Brakeburn, I look forward to your further designs and if the materials used - in autumn/winter - can be in cord or brushed cotton mix, even better. But, thank you for the two I have !

Hit and miss

The clothes are good quality although sizing is a bit hit and miss
I bought several size 14 tops but one was much smaller than the others
I returned it as per instructions using their provided label
Nearly 3 weeks later I still haven’t been refunded
I lost my post office receipt so they say they can’t help, yet the parcel was processed by the PO using their label so this seems unreasonable

Without this receipt, we're unfortunately unable to track the parcel through the postal system, which limits the support we can provide from our end. Slow time wasting company

Slow time wasting company. Extremely poor process when returning items and the refunding took a month and that was with chasing it up with customer service on several occasions. I won’t be back for more.

Excellent customer service

Ive ordered several times from Brakeburn and have always found their customer service to be fantastic. In my latest order, there was a fault in a garment. They sorted this issue out quickly and with minimal fuss. The clothes are great quality and wash and wear very well. Highly recommend.

Very bad communication and no refund

What a nightmare. Never again. I havd returned items and I still keep getting emails asking me if I've received them. I cannot communicate and no refund. Avoid!!!!
