Great service…
Lego always comes quickly, the customer service is super quick and friendly. Everything is just so easy and they are helpful when things aren’t. Delivery fee isn’t too bad.

Love the idea of this company!!
Love the idea of this company. I love building lego but officially ran out of space to display anymore with a lot more set I want to build! I’ve current built two with the third in the way. No major pieces missing but if there are you can report them and get them sent out. Can’t wait for my 3 month period to be done so I can build some bigger sets I’ve wanted for a while! Recommend this company even thinking about asking for the year subscription as a Xmas present. They also reply so so fast when you need help.

Don't be fooled that you can borrow what you want
Brick borrow was fine initially when we weren't too bothered which sets we picked whilst we waited the 3 months to be able to borrow bigger sets. Now having been members for a while and paid the subscription we cannot get the 3 month sets. Customer service do not respond to you - you just get standard copied and pasted reply. They will not tell you how many sets they have or how many people are waiting. They do not track how long people are waiting as alerts automatically expire after 30 days so their data tells them the longest you are waiting is 30 days, which is not accurate. On a rare occasion this week I was the first to see an alert and the set showed as available but it wouldn't let me pick it. I have sent screenshots to customer service but rather than acknowledging the technical error they again sent the stock reply 'sorry you weren't able to secure the set you wanted in time'. Please treat each query as individual and please actually track the demand for sets.

My daughter is really into Lego and borrowing the sets is absolutely incredible value for money! The company is fantastic and they have amazing customer service. I love seeing other sets that have been built by other customers and there is loads of different sets to choose from! Found this amazing site last year…
Found these wonderful people last year on TikTok, and being an avid Lego fan who was looking for the joy of building without having to worry about having to dust off the shelves all the time, thought I’d check it out. While they do have a large array of sets and some rare gems I do often struggle to be able to borrow them. It seems like some of the bigger sets are held for much longer and means that they can’t be borrowed by others. But if your looking for fun smaller to medium builds for maybe Lego dates or like myself just want a nice build for an hour or two. It’s great. Delivery is fast and comes all in the box. I’ve only had a couple instances of missing pieces and only once where it directly impacted the build. But other than that for the price and the ease it’s definitely worth it!

Perfect for a 10 year old!
My son received a subscription for his birthday last November and he’s loved it! It’s a great idea as we already have lots of Lego of our own but have run out of space! We’ve had some brilliant sets Pyramid of Giza, Mickey Mouse, Creator, Harry Potter - ones that are now retired or too expensive for us to buy out right. He’s now waiting for the Titanic or Lord of the Rings sets.

Genuinely one of the best subscriptions I've had
Been a Brick Borrow member for a good while now and honestly can't recommend them enough. The whole concept is brilliant, you get to build loads of different LEGO sets without your house disappearing under boxes of finished builds or your bank account taking a battering. Massive range too, everything from quick builds to the proper big complex ones.
What really stands out though is the customer service. I've only needed to contact them a couple of times, but both times they were absolutely spot on. When I moved house I managed to lose a set in the chaos and I was dreading sorting it out, but they were so understanding and helpful about the whole thing and made it completely painless. That kind of support is rare these days and it stuck with me.
I've had to temporarily pause my membership because life is a bit hectic at the moment, but I will 100% be coming back. Can't see myself staying away for long.
If you love LEGO, give these guys a go, you won't regret it!

Great concept, quick dispatch just wish I’d done more research, but that’s on me
After finding building Lego therapeutic but realising I was running out of space and it was getting costly I thought this was a great solution.
I wish I’d done a bit more research but that’s on me as I didn’t realise the cost of shipping for each set and in hindsight wish I’d gone for a subscription with 2 sets to reduce on shipping fees, particularly for someone that builds a set in under a week.
However it’s loosing 1* because it’s advertised / “browse sets” shows that you get some great sets that I really want to build but it’s not until you’ve purchased a subscription that you find out you can’t borrow the set for 3 months (and not because it’s currently being borrowed). Other slight downside is you need to return the sets dismantled but they don’t include a tool to dismantle it so grateful I kept one from one of my previous sets.
Before you start a build consider where or how you’re going to build it as the bricks come in 1 bag and will need sorting (this will be a nightmare on larger sets), rather than individual bags like LEGO. I definitely need to put more planning into future builds.
On the whole everything came well packaged, dispatched quickly and the membership side of the website seems easy to navigate. They also seem active on social media should you need to contact them

In terms of the borrowing period, our 3-month apprenticeship is outlined in our FAQs, but we completely appreciate your feedback on how this is communicated.

This is a great idea and my grandson and I love the mystery box we receive each month. The brick borrow team are extremely helpful and prompt in replying when I have managed to mess up an order. I would recommend them to anyone of any age speaking as a 59 year old with a 7 year old grandson x

Started great , never able to get a set
Started great , but it's impossible to get the bigger sets which make it worthwhile. They seemingly only have 1 set of the big ones, when you sign up for notifications they release at 11am so unless you can be on your phone within 10 mins they are gone again. Customer service are lovely but great concept just poor execution. Would love to come back if they fix it

To help with this, we always recommend keeping back-in-stock notifications turned on, as they’re the best way to be among the first to know when popular sets return to the library. We also do hold multiple copies of our sets, and we see them come back into rotation regularly, which means availability is continually changing as members complete and return builds.

Brick Borrow is fantastic and has so many LEGO sets to choose from. My daughter has just completed the Lilo and Stitch build so thank you. Avoid Brick Borrow
Avoid Brick Borrow. Poor service, missing parts, and then harassment over a kit I did not have.
My experience with Brick Borrow has been extremely poor from start to finish.
I originally received one kit, but it had pieces missing. I then requested a second kit, which I never received. Around the same time, the payment issue arose because I had changed bank card and had not updated the payment details. Rather than dealing with this sensibly, Brick Borrow’s response was to repeatedly contact me by WhatsApp, email and phone.
I explained the situation clearly. I told them that I did not have the second kit, that I had moved house, and that I would go back to my old address at the weekend to check whether anything had been delivered there or left with neighbours. This was not a quick favour either. It meant driving around 30 minutes each way, out of my own time, to try and help resolve an issue involving a kit I had never received.
Despite this, I was contacted again at around 8:30am on the Friday morning, before I had even had the chance to go and check as agreed. This was especially frustrating because they already knew I was in contact with one of their colleagues and had already explained what I was going to do. The repeated contact across WhatsApp, email and phone felt completely unnecessary and aggressive.
At no point did I feel like Brick Borrow were properly listening to what I was saying. I had already explained that I did not have the kit and had already offered to go out of my way to help check for it. Instead of allowing time for that, they continued chasing me as if I was ignoring them or refusing to engage.
The whole experience has been stressful, badly handled, and unprofessional. A missing-parts issue and a second kit that never arrived should have been simple to resolve. Instead, it turned into repeated unwanted contact and pressure over something I did not have.
Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding Brick Borrow. The service was poor, the communication was excessive, and the way the situation was handled was completely unacceptable.

Firstly, we’re sorry to hear there were missing pieces in your first set. We did not receive any communication from you about this at the time. Had we been made aware, we would have sent out the missing pieces right away, as we do for members in line with our missing-pieces policy.
We also feel it’s important to clarify the timeline around the second set. We contacted you by email on 4th May, 11th May and 16th May regarding the outstanding set and subscription payment, but we did not receive a response advising that the set had not arrived. If we had received any communication on this we would have been able to work with Royal Mail in locating the parcel however we do have the delivery confirmation and evidence the parcel was delivered to the address.
We then contacted you via WhatsApp on Monday 18th May, at which point you responded and advised that the set had never been received. This was the first time we were made aware that you were disputing delivery of the second set.
Following this, we provided the Royal Mail delivery evidence available to us. Royal Mail tracking showed the parcel as delivered, with the delivery pin placing it at your road address and a delivery photo showing the parcel being accepted. We understand you advised that the person in the photo was not you and may have been a neighbour, and that you had moved house at the start of May.
We then phoned you on 22nd May simply to check whether there had been any update in locating the set after you had said you would check the previous address and nearby neighbours.
We do not agree that our communication was aggressive or amounted to harassment. Our contact consisted of three emails, one WhatsApp message and one follow-up phone call, all relating to an outstanding rental set and unpaid subscription.
We’re sorry that the experience felt stressful. That was never our intention. However, as a rental subscription business, we do need to follow up when a set has not been returned and payment has not been made, especially where tracking indicates delivery.
We remain happy to review any further evidence or information you can provide so we can bring this matter to a fair resolution. Again happy to speak to you and discuss further and believe we can resolve this quickly and fairly.

New lego every month
Being able to build new lego sets every month had been so fun! We love lego, but wouldn't be able to afford a new set all the time, or be able to display the finished pieces so this really fills that brick building urge. We've had 3 sets so far and each one has been really great, never any missing pieces, super easy to order each time and return instructions are always included. We have the mystery subscription as there are just so many to choose from and we love getting a surprise when we open the box. Would 100% recommend to lego fans! We would even upgrade to the better subscription next time so we can choose our sets but for now we like the mystery box!

This is such an amazing idea! We have got our 4th borrow and still loving the service.. this allows us to build lego sets we would never of bought due to space or money... So fun to build with my husband and even great to enjoy them for sometime too as there is no time limit.. great amount of sets to borrow.. will 1000% recommend!!!

Good. Could be better
It's a good idea and have borrowed numerous sets, sadly there are ALWAYS bricks missing, not loads, maybe 3 or 4 per set. I always notify them so next borrower doesn't have same issue but others don't, it seems.
Sets can be bit messy, few times I've had long strands of hair in the amongst the bricks that definitely arent mine lol.
Lots of sets to pick from, though they could do with some new sets as it's the same ones every time. For bigger sets like Titanic etc they are never available. They offer a notify when available option but honestly, that's a waste of time, I have genuinely been online when the notification has come through and went to the site within seconds of receiving email just to see the set has been borrowed already, this has happened EVERY time I have set up notification, so they could do with looking into that as the sets are obviously borrowed again before the notification email is sent out.
I give 4 stars as it is a good idea but I'll probably cancel my subscription soon as the sets I really want are just never available and would probably be better just buying them then selling on after

Missing pieces and cleanliness are both really important to us, so we completely understand your frustration. We do check sets between rentals, but clearly we haven’t got this right every time, and your feedback is really useful in helping us improve that process.

Some of the larger and more popular sets can be in very high demand, but we understand how disappointing it is to receive a notification and then find the set has already gone. Great LEGO borrowing service
Really simple system for borrowing sets. All came packaged well and with easy returns information. So many great sets to choose from. My son was very excited when he saw the box arrived. Definitely a much more affordable way to enjoy LEGO for those who enjoy building the sets.
