I came accross brick borrow by accident…
I came accross brick borrow by accident as i didnt know it existed, i love lego but i have a small place and cant afford the cost of buying lego or keeping it. Si i found brick borrow an it is truely one of a kind you play a very resonably suscption fee èither for the bulider or the master and you get to pick out of a vast number of different sets and they get sent to you, you keep them as long as you want to bulid them and to display them then you send it back you pay one flat rate for postage. But i find increfible joy out of this site and its really worth what you pay in your suscription fees.

Brick borrow is potentially a great…
Brick borrow is potentially a great idea. HOWEVER!
Please read this, it is an honest review from a genuine user.
I’ll start with the positives, and there are some.
The company operate in a very efficient manner and respond to questions or issues very quickly. Kits are sent out promptly and are always well packed with full return information.
The downside is that they just don’t have anywhere remotely near the amount of big kits available in stock.
You have to go through months of borrowing little kits that are not really appealing to older users who enjoy a Lego challenge. Then when you passed the probation period, just try finding anything you’ve been looking forward to building. I CHALLENGE YOU! They have a contract me when a selected item is back in stock feature but it’s pointless as you need to log on to the website and find that kit yourself, by that time the kit will ALWAYS be back out on hire. I built 1 big kit in the many months I was a member!
I did contact them numerous times and they always replied with a polite message saying they are investing in new stock all the time. Nothing changed for me! I never experienced the benefit in this new stock they’d invested in.
If you have a small child who likes building little kits (and is totally meticulous at not loosing pieces) this site has definite benefits. It’s a great idea! it’s well operated!
But it is totally underfunded!
Sorry guys, great idea but it doesn’t provide a good user experience.

We are sorry to read that the availability of our larger sets didn’t meet your expectations. Our larger sets are, of course, the most in demand and they can sometimes be out on hire for longer periods of time. That said, we do hold multiple copies of each set and do see them come back into rotation regularly.

Poor experience
Sadly the experience i had was poor. Managed to borrow one set but on returning it the website wouldnt allow me to borrow a second set, and despite several requests they were unable to resolve the glitch that prevented me from ordering a second set.
The concept is good, but my experience was a poor website that the owners cant seem to sort.

Custom Service like no other
Joined Brick Borrow last month after seeing adverts. After browsing the website I had feedback for the team, they replied promptly and professionally, the customer service is second to none! Especially for such a niche business. They really do care about the customers and their experience.
The ordering and "borrowing" process is super simple, the builds are fantastic and the compnay provide every you need, even if you're missing a piece.
Highly recommend Brick Borrow to any Lego Lover of any age.

A fantastic service that my son absolutely loves.
My son Loves Brick Borrow. As do I. We struggled to afford the expensive lego sets he now needs to keep him interested as they're into the hundreds of pounds so we bought him a subscription to this for his birthday instead. He's now built sets we couldnt even dream of affording from the Millenium Falcon tot he Dune Ornithopter. Plus, instead of one big set a year he can now build 12! He actually finds the process of deciding on which set is next almost as exciting as building it.
From a personal perspective we're also not contributing to creating more plastic, for built sets to gather dust on a shelf or in a cupboard.
The BB customer service has been great too, very responsive via chat or email, and missing pieces often arrive next day so we can continue building.
Cant recommend this highly enough.

A fantastic idea
A fantastic idea, all the fun of building lego without the hassle of finding places to store them. For me it's the building of the model that I love so brick borrow is perfect. Patience is needed for the bigger 'wow' sets, but I'm awaiting my 3rd set in just over a month and I've had so much fun.

Brick Borrow is such a brilliant concept and the service has been fantastic. I bought the membership as a gift for my nephew and it’s been amazing value for money — he loved being able to borrow the sets, build them, take photos for his scrapbook, and then send them back once we’re done and get ready to choose the next one!
A great way to enjoy Lego without needing endless storage space at home. Highly recommend!

What a great concept!
Was reccomended Brick Borrow by a friend and it was a great recommendation. Their website is easy to navigate with subscription plans to suit everyone at very reasonable prices and a huge amount of different Lego sets to borrow and build.
I love the fact that there is no time limit on borrowing sets either which allows you to build at your own pace/skill level. The service once you've picked a set is swift and smooth, and returning couldn't be easier.
If you like building Lego but cant afford to buy all the time or havent got the space then this is for you.

What a fabulous idea
What a fabulous idea.
My son is neurodivergent and his hyperfocus and fixation is lego. All things lego. Having an option where he can pick builds and give them back in exchange for another one is just fabulous. We had ordered built and sent back our set within the first week. Ready to pick our next one.
My only recommendation would be the option to browse and favourite builds while you have an active borrow so that you can be prepared for you next one.

Lego building for half the price
It's great getting to build so many great lego set at a fraction of the price and if you've run out of room to show your purchased sets it's even better. Great and promt delivery and action when things just don't go exactly right first time. Would recommend it to all Lego lovers.

Cannot recommend enough
We all know Lego can be expensive to buy, especially the newer and bigger sets and that’s where brick borrow come in. They’ve opened up my world to sets that I could not afford or find space for. Really great customer service, friendly staff who always respond to messages. Cannot rate them highly enough!

We're genuinely disappointed to receive a 1-star review before you've had the opportunity to borrow a single set, as we don't feel it reflects the service Brick Borrow provides.
While it is correct that our Hero Sets have a borrowing qualification period on monthly plans, this information is clearly explained in our FAQs before joining. It's also worth noting that Hero Sets are available immediately on our annual plans.
During the qualification period, members still have access to a library of over 1,000 LEGO® sets. This certainly isn't limited to children's sets, our library includes a huge range of themes and builds for adults and families alike. In fact, excluding our Hero Sets, the average value of the sets available is over £60. Many members comfortably borrow 3–4 sets per month, which provides excellent value even after shipping costs.
We can also see that your membership benefited from our 50% off introductory offer, giving you the opportunity to try the service at a reduced cost. Unfortunately, as no sets have been borrowed, you haven't yet had the chance to experience what the membership offers.
We'd genuinely welcome the opportunity to speak with you, recommend some fantastic sets that are available on your account today, and hopefully show you what Brick Borrow is all about. If you do decide to give the service a try, we'd be grateful if you would consider updating your review to reflect your actual experience.

Great idea!!!
My wife seen this and thought it would be a good idea to sign our LEGO mad 9yr old up to!!! He loved looking at all the sets he could pick from and is looking at some of the bigger sets already!!! Shipping was quick and was well packed!! He loved building it !!! Cheaper than buying the sets and we our running out of room in the house for all his Lego !!! Definitely a great idea!!!!

First kit delivered!
Ordered my first kit a couple of weeks ago after starting my subscription and was blown away when it arrived.
Everything was explained really well within the kit and was super surprised with the return items as well.
So far I'm loving Brick Borrow, and can't wait to get my second set.

Lego became the thing I do with my…
Lego became the thing I do with my daughter but her bedroom was getting full of older builds collecting dust. A friend mention brickborrow and wow, it's brilliant!! She now loves building them and returning them so she can pick another one. This has saved so much money and space, well worth it 👌 I just now need to persuade her to give the hogwarts castle a go 😅

Great for accessing Lego
With two young kids who like building Lego, buying new sets just isn’t sustainable. BrickBorrow is great for them (and occasionally me!) to identify and get interesting and varied Lego builds that we can collectively do in the evenings or holidays instead of resorting to screen time.

Difficult experience if you want big sets
Well, I was considering purchasing this for my girlfriend, read the positive reviews and decided it would be a great present, she loves building large lego sets and thought this would be an awesome present.
Bought a 1 year subscription based from these reviews instead of a setpiece outright.
Set it up, but had to email the company the voucher code to activate which we both thought was slightly weird, but fine, it went through ok.
Started looking at all the sets, to which all the large sets are unavailable, she isn't interested in smaller sets, so set up reminders when they're back in stock, to which every time she gets a notification and reacts, it's back out of stock again.
Scrolling through sets on the lists provided resets when she backs out from a selection, amongst other issues navigating the site, so far, I feel like I've made a bad decision and should have bought her a lego set outright.
I would hapily change this review to a higher rating if we could get something she wants, but unfortunately, we've been trying for a week and the whole system is incredibly frustraging, I didn't think it would be this difficult in all honesty.
Word of warning before you go ahead, if you're fine with particular sets that's not a problem, but if you just want the larger ones, it's just a chore checking the Ill functioning website daily to just be greeted with unavailability.
If there was a clause advising you about these issues I'd maybe have reconsidered.

Supporting our members is something we take great pride in, and we're always keen to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
Regarding the gift card activation process, our eGift Cards can be purchased for any value and used across our website for any of our services. Because of this flexibility, we manually apply them to ensure each customer receives exactly what they want from their gift card.
We're also sorry to hear that your girlfriend has struggled to secure some of the larger sets she's interested in. While our most popular sets can be in high demand, we do hold multiple copies of all of our sets within our library, and do see sets returning to rotation regularly. Back-in-stock notifications remain the best way to hear about availability as soon as sets return.
We genuinely appreciate your feedback, and we'd welcome the opportunity to discuss your experience further and help your girlfriend find some builds she'll love.

Love, love, love it, probably as much as I love Lego. Which was the problem, I've run out of display space, but Brick Borrow solves that problem.
Pick a set, build it, look at it for a bit, then send it back and get a new one. I've built sets I would never buy, but now I get the fun of the build and none of the storage issues and most importantly minimal cost.

Brick Borrow is a brilliant company. We have been building lego sets with them for over 6 months now with a gift subscription we were given for Christmas. Such a fab gift idea. The sets arrive very quickly after ordering them. The sets are clean and usually all pieces are there. Once there was a missing piece but it didn't affect the build. I told them and they make sure that piece is replaced for the next builder. They have a huge number of sets to choose from so you will be spoilt for choice! They reply super quickly to any questions and clearly have lovely staff working for them. Thanks Brick Borrow, keep doing what you are doing, as you do it so well! We would definitely recommend you.
