Loved every brick
We loved building the tattooine podracer scene. Brick Build made it really easy to find the pieces needed and it felt like working on a brand new set. We’re really impressed with the simplicity of the service.

A great idea, but….
The concept behind Brick Borrow is tremendous. If you’re not minded about what you build, you will enjoy. However, trying to get hold of popular sets is difficult. There’s no reserving a slot, instead you have to hope you see an email notification in time and you’re limited how many notifications you can have. I’ve yet to secure a set i really want. Further, I’ve yet to have a set with all the pieces in it. I really hope that BB succeeds, with some diligence on their part they will, but I’m likely to let my membership lapse.

We completely understand your frustration around some of the more popular sets being difficult to get hold of. We have looked at reservation and waiting list systems before, but unfortunately it does create longer waiting times for sets, which is something we’re always trying to avoid. That said, we understand how disappointing it must feel when there are particular sets you’re hoping to build and you haven’t been able to access them yet. We do hold multiple copies of each set and do see them rotate regularly in the library.
We’re also really sorry to hear you’ve had missing pieces across your borrows. While this can occasionally happen with borrowed LEGO sets, we know how frustrating it is when it interrupts a build. We do send missing pieces out first class, to ensure that you can get back to building as soon as possible.
Thank you again for your feedback and for wanting Brick Borrow to succeed. We’re sorry the experience hasn’t fully met your expectations, but we genuinely appreciate your feedback.

Great concept. I get the chance to build sets I can't afford to buy. The monthly subscription makes the payments manageable and then only paying postage for the sets. I like that I can keep them as long as I like or build lots quickly.

Brick Borrow - Great Way To Borrow Lego
Brick Borrow is a great idea and the service is fantastic with the sets arriving on time and well boxed. The only issue that I have had is that you can be waiting a long time for some of the bigger sets (as obviously they are the most popular) but that is just the nature of them being so popular and taking a while to become available.

Brick Borrow
I would highly recommend Brick Borrow, for all ages. I found that our house was overrun with Lego sets, which often never found a home or were collecting dust and with the cost of living, Brick Borrow was the perfect solution. There is a wide selection of sets to choose from with new sets added regularly. The customer service is fantastic. The sets are delivered and include all the information required. The subscription option is fantastic, creating trust between the customer and Brick Borrow. Thank you for finding a gap in the market and bringing joy to our house on a monthly basis!

I’ve been a member of Brick Borrow for over two years, and the service has been excellent from day one. I’ve had the chance to build some amazing LEGO sets that I wouldn’t normally buy because of how expensive they can be. The subscription is very affordable and has saved me a lot of money while still letting me enjoy premium sets.
The delivery is always quick, and the return process is just as easy and hassle-free, making the whole experience really convenient. I also really appreciate that they keep their library up to date with the latest LEGO releases, so there’s always something new to build.
The customer service has always been friendly and reliable, and I’ve never had any issues. I highly recommend Brick Borrow to any LEGO fan looking for an affordable way to enjoy a wide range of fantastic LEGO sets.

Good variety but not worth frustration of missing pieces
We have had multiple sets sent to us with missing pieces that have prevented a build from progressing until the company can send a replacement. This is frustrating for young builders. They do have a large selection of sets to choose from. However given all the problems with missing pieces leading to delays in finishing a build I would not recommend and do not plan on renewing subscription.

I honestly can't recommend Big Brick Borrow enough. What started as a way to enjoy Lego without the huge cost has become something far more valuable for our family.
My daughter has been in autistic burnout for a very long time. Big Brick Borrow has played a huge part in her recovery. Building the Lego sets has helped her relearn and strengthen her fine motor skills, while also giving her something she genuinely wanted to engage with.
The biggest change has been the impact on our family. The Lego sets gave us a way to connect with her again. Family members have built alongside her, and through those shared moments she's gradually started engaging with us again.
For the first time in a long time, she's coming out of her safe space of isolation and enjoying wider of our home and garden and enjoying being part of family life again. Watching those small but incredibly significant steps has meant the world to us.
This service offers so much more than just borrowing Lego. For our family, it has provided connection, encouragement, and a genuine part of my daughter's journey back to herself. We will always be grateful.

Brick Borrow - worth a subscription!
Brick Borrow is really cool, if you enjoy building lego sets but don't have the space to display them, or want to see if one of the pricier/bigger sets is worth the money. The postage can be a bit slow, but it's a really straight forward system and I've enjoyed being a member for over 9 months now.

V good as a hobby and for kids, not for borrowing the big sets.
I have enjoyed Brick Borrow so far. If you just want to make some Lego regularly for you or your kids, it's a great way to try some new Lego sets that you don't want to spend too much money on or keep in the long-term. There is always quite a lot of Harry Potter Lego available and these are fun to build for all ages!
So I'd say it's good value, and fun for kids.
If you are an adult who wanted a way to borrow those amazing Lego sets you can't afford to buy (like Lord of the Rings etc), this is very unlikely to work so don't sign up for that reason alone. I've never managed to get hold of any of the bigger sets. There really needs to be a queueing system to borrow these. You can sign up for an email alert when they come back in stock, but I have tried to get to the website and borrow these 12 minutes, 9 minutes, 5 minutes after getting an alert and they are gone again. No chance. The email alert also doesn't provide a link so it takes too long to log back in and find the set it's talking about and then it's gone. I think the people who do manage to borrow these must have a tab constantly open and no day job!
Just some food for thought, Brick Borrow. This system is no good. You could implement a queuing system for popular sets by using a calendar and assigning everybody in the queue a 3 week window when they will have the set (they must return it at the end of their 3 weeks). In the meantime people can then continue borrowing other sets while they wait for their date to come around. That would make a queueing system viable. I would much prefer this system.
But on the whole, it's fun to have access to smaller (but still quite expensive to buy) Lego sets especially for the school holidays. Also, the system to return the sets is really easy, I appreciate that.
UPDATE AFTER REPLY
Okay, it's nice that you want people to be able to keep the sets as long as they want but that doesn't seem feasible... you will continue to have this problem with the 'hero' sets if you don't make any changes to the system. I can see that basically all of the criticisms of brick borrow are telling you the same thing. I would introduce a time limit and booking only for the hero sets if I were you. Thanks for the Lego fun, all the best.

We completely understand your comments around our Hero sets, and we’re sorry that you haven’t been able to borrow the ones you were hoping for. These sets are incredibly popular and can be borrowed very quickly once they return, but they do come back into the library regularly and continue to rotate through our members.
We have looked into waiting lists and booking systems before, especially for our most in-demand sets, but unfortunately we’ve found it doesn’t work in the way we’d need it to. One of the things we really want to protect is the ability for members to build at their own pace, without the pressure of having to return a set within a fixed time frame. We know some builds take longer than others, and we don’t want customers to feel rushed through the experience.
We’re sorry to hear you were having difficulty accessing the sets you wanted. We weren’t aware you were experiencing this issue at the time, but we do really appreciate you raising it here and sharing your thoughts so clearly.

I bought a Brick Borrow “The Builder” plan a few days ago. I was very impressed by the professionalism, packaging and fast delivery. I had a few pieces that were missing, but the support sent out all the missing pieces very quickly and even gave me a free shipping code! I was able to complete the set and it was very fun. I am genuinely impressed by the service and the overall idea, I would definetly recommend! You can also get free shipping on orders with referral codes, so I’d recommend using them.

Amazing build
Just built soundwave and it must be one of the best builds I’ve ever done. This would not of been possible without brickborrow . I am a massive fan of transformers and the build took me back to my childhood

Absolutely loving my Brickborrow…
Absolutely loving my Brickborrow subscription. I have the mystery set and it's such good value for money, and gives such joy when finding out what the set is. The customer service team are super helpful and quick to respond via email on any queries. The postal return service is straightforward with printed instructions and postal label on the box. Great, but factor in the cost of postage
This is a great idea and it seems to work well. I bought the Builder plan costing £129 as a gift for my son who isn't in the best of health. However I was surprised to learn that he has to pay postage which over the year will cost him a lot of money. As it was a gift I feel bad that he has to pay out money.

I came accross brick borrow by accident…
I came accross brick borrow by accident as i didnt know it existed, i love lego but i have a small place and cant afford the cost of buying lego or keeping it. Si i found brick borrow an it is truely one of a kind you play a very resonably suscption fee èither for the bulider or the master and you get to pick out of a vast number of different sets and they get sent to you, you keep them as long as you want to bulid them and to display them then you send it back you pay one flat rate for postage. But i find increfible joy out of this site and its really worth what you pay in your suscription fees.
