Great items at a great price. I think delivery is a little steep though given the size and weight, but customer service is excellent. Would use again and recommend.

Good and Bad !!
Decent sheet metal quality.
However, my order was overlooked, as I needed to send a "where's my metal sheet" email.
Oddly enough it was shipped the next day (!!) which was fine but delayed my project by a week.
£15 p&p is excessive for a 40" x 40" sheet of 0.8mm mild steel sheet, if ordering below the minimum cost for free postage.
Being emailed about 5x times for a purchase review, gives me the impression that Buy Metal Online is more interested in their star rating than customer service.

Good Morning,
Thanks so much for taking the time to review our service. As stated on our website our lead time is 3-5 working days from order, we managed to deliver your order within this time period. We do also offer an express service of 1-2 working days should you need it any sooner however this is more expensive.
Thanks again for your order!

Exactly what I ordered
Exactly what I ordered, cut to the exact size needed.
Helpful discussion and movement of my delivery date to suit me.
When the courier service missed a transfer, I was called to rearrange with an apology albeit not the supplier's fault.
Would definitely use again!!

Good Morning Philip,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review; your feedback is welcome as we are always looking to improve our service.
Following your conversation with the customer service team yesterday, we would like to inform you that your order was dispatched two days after it was made. According to our tracking, delivery was attempted but unfortunately refused, resulting in the goods being returned to us. We have raised this failed delivery issue with DX, as they seem to have attempted delivery at the wrong address. We sincerely apologise on behalf of DX for this inconvenience.
Please be assured that your order is scheduled to be re-dispatched today for delivery tomorrow.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Mild Steel Sheets
Just wanted some thin metal sheets and buying from here was straightforward and cheap, they even cut the sheet I bought into three pieces free of charge. Spoke to someone on the phone who advised me what was best to buy after letting them know what I needed it for.
Sheets were ready to collect in less than 48 hours

Hi Tanweer,
Thanks very much for taking the time to write a review, All feedback is very much appreciated as we are always looking to improve our service.
I'm extremely sorry that you received your order later than expected.
We do aim to get all orders to our customers within 3-5 working days and do apologize your order was 1 day late. However, we use outsourced couriers so that we can ship UK wide. We did book your delivery for the 4th working day as the pallet company was at full capacity delivery dates where pushed back. Feedback has been passed onto the courier as they should always call you to keep you informed of any delays on their behalf.
Please take our sincere solitude again for any inconvenience caused if this occasion.
