Found car
Twice I have used you .com and both times found a vehicle I was interested in. The first time I bought the vehicle my search found. The second time, I found one that I was really interested in, but wound up buying from local dealer.

Great website with a couple of flaws.
-Should be able to select multiple makes/models when doing an advanced search
-website performance is a little clunky and slow
Other than that, I find it easy to use and it seems to have the most vehicle listings of any of the major websites.

Thank you for your feedback on your experience using CarSoup.com! Your feedback on ways to improve the site have been forwarded to our user experience team. You cannot select multiple makes/models from the advanced search at this time, but once you get to the search results page, you can add other models under the same make. To do this on a desktop computer, when you have one make and one model selected, the applied filters will show up in the top-let corner under "Your Search". If you click on the blue "Model" text in the "Your Search" section, this opens a window on top of your search results that allows you to add more models to your search results. From a smart phone, you should be able to apply multiple models when you are initially adding that search filter. Hopefully this helps make your search a bit easier in the meantime!
Not updated.
I called on 2 cars I found on carsoup. Both were sold well over a week ago. The dealer then tried to sell me a similar car that was priced higher.

I have contacted dealers about advertised offers on the CarSoup site with no response. Therefore I am of the opinion that the deals may be a come-on.

Bought and sold on this site
I have been a user of carsoup for a quite a while. Both selling vehicles and now buying one. The reason... it is quick, easy and reliable.
I started searching 2 weeks ago, I used carsoup, cars.com and carfax for my search. Carsoup had more vehicles return than the other sites. I found the vehicles, saved them as favs and contacted the dealer through car soup. After narrowing down the field, I test drove 5 vehicles in 3 different locations and now I have a new car.
That is the reason I will recommend this to people and use it myself. Way to go.

lack of pictures
I think that anyone, incuding dealers, should be required to post pictures of the vehicles. I am very frustrated with the amount of ads that don't contain pictures. I skip all that do not have them and I know I'm missing out on some good ones. I will not think about driving to test drive a vehicle that I cant preview.

Due to some technical limitations we do not require photos on vehicle listings at this time - however we strongly encourage vehicle sellers to include photos since that means a lot to car shoppers like yourself. Often dealer listings don't immediately have photos when they have a new listing because the vehicle becomes part of their inventory before they are able to take photos of the vehicle. Because many sellers either never supply photos or don't supply photos right away when they list a vehicle for sale, we do have a filter that allows you to only show vehicles with photos. This filter should be available when your search results include a mix of vehicles with and without photos. We hope this helps make your vehicle search on CarSoup.com easier, and we apologize that you experienced frustration when listings did not include photos. We will continue to encourage sellers to include photos on their listings as soon as possible.

Not bad, but not great either.
Many of the dealers do not keep their inventory updated. I spent much of the day I planed on purchasing a car on the phone with various dealers trying to find one. Once I was able to locate the model I was after, when I arrived, the dealer had not been upfront with the very obvious water damage. I'm down on CarSoup for not keeping their dealers accountable, and will consider buying through other sources.

Slow scroll
The current page design is a pain in the a$$. You try to scroll down and the ad pop ups take over and pull you back up again.
And it's just too damn busy to look at.
It used to be a decent site. Why did you mess with a good thing?
