Carspring Avis 

I bought a car in 2016, first six months were fine then losing coolant, cracked head gasket, leaking oil, changed the battery, spark plugs tice in three years.
I wouldn't use this company again.

Bought a car from them March 2016, less than one year later the car basically blew. Would have needed a new engine and all sorts, not to mention other issues prior to this (windscreen, new battery, engine light). Approached carspring and they pinned the blame on me and my driving. I was actually is only been driving just over a year so had a black box to reduce insurance costs and there was never any bad feedback for my driving. This car knocked my anxiety and mental health through the roof. I ended up off work for 3 weeks sick because of the state this car had left me in. Literally the WORST company I have ever come across. Even a fiat dealership said it couldn't have been my fault. 2 years later and I'm still paying for the car, even though I had gave it back to the finance company. Because of this experience I've felt too anxious to get another second hand car.

Also find it hilarious they only acknowledge the positive comments and don't try to address the issues people raise, goes to show what a fab company this is.

Can't get hold of anyone and effectively the web site is down.

Bought car on 14/08/17. Carspring cancelled the purchase 6days later. After countless phone calls they refund the purchase price but are withholding their admin and delivery fee. When I get through on the phone they are pleasant and apologetic promising refund of admin and delivery fee (£150) but money not forthcoming. Countless email and phone requests but still waiting.

I put an application in on the 20th August. I got approved for finance and was asked to upload my proofs which I promptly did. I then heard nothing back for two weeks now and each time I try to call Carspring to find out what's happening I get told that no one is available and to try again later. The one time I did get through I was told someone will call me back, a call I never received. I am truly disappointed with the service I've received from Carspring.

A few problems to start with but these were quickly and efficiently resolved.

Absolutely dreadful service and worse the smug advisor Matthew who seemed to think that it was ok to call me on Wednesday after I sent proofs on Friday previous and tell me.. great news your finance has been agreed, oh but sold the car you wanted! When i asked if it was due to 'nobody being available' Monday to process it, I said 'we don't like to aportion blame' and smugly told me there were 3 other cars the same available. .. but in WHITE! ! Not once an appology!!! Not follow up call.... nothing....Disgusting conduct and I shall make sure I publicise the fact widely.

I would not hesitate in recommending Carspring, their web site is honest and very accurate in what they say they provide and how they treat customers it is not just say and not follow through they actually do what their web site states. On speaking to members of Carspring on the telephone I found them to be polite, professional, helpful and nothing too much trouble for them an absolute pleasure to deal with.
