Right from the very first time I downloaded the app, I had regrets. I decided not to listen to the negative reviews and went ahead to download the app, I couldn't login, I had patience and was loged in 2 days after.. Now I have deposited my account with funds but my account its still showing 10 whereas its suppose to be 4500..... This is not an app you would love from my experience so far.

(Horrible customer experience, it been more than 6 months and yet still no reply.... its frustrating because I cant do anything with this account till things get resolved)....I wont deny it, this happened; but they stepped up their game and i am glad for this, so I would add 2 additional stars for it, and because they resolved the issue, it's an all star for me.

I mistakenly sent money to another account instead of my chipper account. Chippercash resolved my problem and credited me back. It took two months because I was still accusing them of withholding my money when in truth, I was the one at fault. Two days after the fault was found, it was resolved! I can't explain my excitement that day!

Again, be wary of Chipper cash and crypto, after raising hell about their 10% cheating and being exposed, they've decided to now include a 1% charge to disguise the theft.
Charging reasonably for a service is perfectly okay, but fleecing in terms of;

1. Their sell rate doesn't match market sell rate.
2. Their own stated sell rate is not the same when you want to cash out, ie they'll say its 102,000,000 for 1 btc...when you try to cash out it will be 100,000,000 for 1btc

3. Example if Binance is selling 1btc at 101,860,000UGX.....chipper sells it at 102,860,000UGX....a difference 1,000,000UGX ($265) plus 1% of that as a charge (102,860UGX).
So when you want to buy, you pay more.

4. Example if Binance is buying 1btc at 101,860,000UGX.....chipper buys it at 100,860,000.....a difference of 1,000,000UGX ($265) plus a 1% of that as a charge (100,860UGX)
So when you want to cashout, they pay you less.

5. A simple research shows Chipper is 2% owned by SVB which led $100m fund round. SVB (Silicon Valley Bank) has now collapsed.
6. On top of that they kept over $1m in SVB and can only recover $250,000 of that as insured by FDIC

Who do you think is going to pickup this hole of funding? You, their diligently, hardworking, saving and investing client who will be cheated to the bone.

7. Chipper was already funded by the fraudster owner of now fallen FTX, Sam Bankman-Freed and is under house-arrest following US Lawsuit against him and accomplices. The hole to fill is bigger.

8. I will even ignore the rumours of trying to sell chipper, since its not a fact.But hard to ignore.

9. The beauty with crypto/ fintech you can cheat but you can easily be found-out with a simple research on the Internet and block-chain transactions.

10. Lastly, chipper was good. Without a doubt. Then greed happened. Then FTX. Then SVB. Their license is even on-hold in Kenya.
The idea of the service was great, it worked but these markups of 10% to fleece clients, will surely not end well for Ham Serunjoji and the team that comes up with these "genius ideas" thinking Africans are ignorant.

11. Here is a clear example of how you will lose money. To make a btc purchase of 1,000,000.....depositing in the wallet will cost you 50,000....you'll be charged 1% of the amount for the purchase.....and the price you buy at from chipper will be higher then market price. In total instead of getting 1,000,000 worth btc.. you'll get 880,000 worth of btc......you lose 120,000 like that. Surely these are hallmarks of theft. Did I mention that now withdrawals starting May 30th are not free, add that to the list of theft!

12. Binance had to pull the chipper wallet off their site because of due diligence that showed fraud at chipper headquarters in San Francisco.

13. Lastly and most importantly, Chipper just put out a notice that they don't handle the crypto transaction and that is a 3rd party called Fireblock and Critical Ideas Inc, that do. The storm is coming, get your crypto off there, they are going to steal it and say they don't hold it and a 3rd party does. BEWARE!!!

You as a client are forewarned....

Best fintech I’ve used so far. Speed of Response to customer questions just need to be improved to at least minimum of 6 hours. Overall, they know their onions and everything works really fine.

Worst app I can’t login my account and no good support

Very bad of you guys.
I've had the account for a long but I decided to transfer N20,000 to the account from one of my banks. It's been almost 6hrs and my bank has confirmed that the transaction has been successful. Their support is not even replying to chats, and I do not know what to do!

Chipper cash is such a joke. I made a complaint last year 17th October to be precise of being defrauded of more than N161 512 by one chilper cash handle ronald ayupu. Not only has my money not been returned back 6 months later the thief's handle which chipper cash assured me was frozen is still very much active. Chipper the lowest of the low!!!!!

My account was fund by a third party but unfortunately the money didn’t enter my account which I lodged my complaint and it got resolved within 24hrs. Chipper is reliable

Terrible there was something wrong with my account I couldn't withdraw money I messaged chipper it took 5 days for them to acknowledge my message by that time my account was hacked money stolen now my account is disabled Ive done the verification process still a few days and no reply I got paid into chipper and I need my funds out

I FUNDED MY ACCOUNT TO SEND MONEY TO MY PARENTS BUT THE FUNDS WERE NOT COMPLETE AT THE TIME SO I WAITED FOR SOME HOURS TO COMPLETE THE MONEY, AFTER I GOT THE REMAINING FUNDS I ENTERED MY CHIPPERCASH ACCOUNT OT MAKE PAYMENT BUT THE FUNDS I FIRST DEPOSITED WERE NOT THERE I QUICKLY CONTACTED CHIPPERCASH TO THERE WAS NO RESPONSE THROUGH ALL THE AVAILABLE CHANNELS UNTIL AFTER 2DAYS AND I WAS TOLD THAT THEY INVESTIGATING ON WHERE MY FUNDS ARE ITS NOW SIX DAYS AND COUNTING WITHOUT ANY INFORMATION FROM CHIPPERCASH AND THEY ARE NOT REPLYING TO ALL MY MESSAGES. THAT MEANS IVE LOST MY 1.7M TO CHIPPERCASH SO WHOEVER COME HERE TO CHECK ON CHIPPERCASH REVIEW SHOULD KNOW THAT HES AT RIST OF LOSING HIS HARD EARNED FUNDS.

The issue has been fixed without the help of Chipper. Also the exchange fee is on the high side

I'm really disappointed in Chipper Cash, it is abhorrent that a fintech would have no customer support in this day and age.

I loaded my wallet and was ready to fund my virtual US Dollar card. Each time I tried to fund it, the process wouldn't go through. I tried reaching out to their customer support via the in-app chat, and via email. They didn't respond to either.

After 24 hours, I visited their Twitter handle to see if other people were having similar issues. I saw a tweet with a response from a chipper imposter account with a link to resolve the issue. Stupidly, I clicked on it, and provided the information required. Susequently, the scammer highjacked my account, and cashed out all the money in my wallet, 80K to be precise.

I tried reaching out to Chipper via Twitter DMs (which didn't go), I emailed support, to which there was no response. There is no number to reach them on. At this point, I want to cut my losses and have my account closed, but even that is impossible at this point, since customer care is non-existent.

If customer care is a priority for you, kindly skip Chipper Cash.

I couldn't login to my account. This meant I couldn't chat customer service either. So I contacted them through tweeter and they were able to solve my problem in less than 18hours.

Chipper Cash is a night mare!!!!.....if you enjoy wasting your time and resources then patronise them...they are not only greedy and unnecessarily expensive but they have very bad customer service. They do not respond to messages and their app is always faulty. And the only thing they are good at doing is apologising for their shortcomings but they would never rectify issue...they are horrible

OK, Chipper cash use to be one of the best before, a top notch customer service, fast payment, clear transaction, lately, its been hell I chipper cash has it has been compromised, the thieves and scammers have taken over the company, my account has been verified for almost 3 years but recently I was told to deposit 200k before i could qualify to transfer 1m, I checked my status whether is charged but not, on the 6th of March, my money (#312,400) was withdrawn while waiting for their system to come as pleaded by customer service, I contacted the customer support the response i got shown that it was aided by them, so the chipper cash is out of it now if you don't want to lost your fund, I have my proofs and if possible can be uploaded here, anyone saying anything different here now adays is a perpetrator of evil, the CEO needs to be revisited? My account was use to withdraw other people funds after I reported mine and instructed them to stop transactions on my account, people were scammed and embarrassed my family, it was shameful and bitter, Non of chipper cash social handles and lines is active. if there's and you're sure you have contrary opinions recently or vital information about chipper cash , contact me directly, over a million naira we withdrawn out of my account while telling me the system was down.

This app is ridiculous,the code it sends is NEVER the right code,I have to go back ,I've done that 5 times now,been locked out ,I give up,so I ask Mr.Wizzard what is the solution to this issue? The app simply goes around and around in circles,it does not work. It's really a shame,I would use this often if in fact it would work.
