ake review but I can assure you it’s not book a hire car for an event, they did not provide a car and have not given me back my deposit and won’t respond to my emails it’s a scam

3/07/2024 Still no response still no refund clearly been ripped off I’m waiting for my money back I have taken legal advice they advise to send a letter before action giving 28 days before I start legal proceedings

This company has not repaid my money after chasing them for almost 16 months. The owner will give countless excuses for not returning your money even after threatening to take them to court/CCJs

What do you gain from this?

Im not sure what the director of classic parade has to gain from this, he scams under his own legal name, and identity, using bank accounts linked to his own name. Im not sure he realizes there is a cap on how many bank transfers he can take before it is flagged by his own bank and reported. The money will have to be declared at some point, so i really don't know what his end goal is.

It is highly likely based on his other companies Zapp Car LTD and GT Trading LTD, that he does end up returning the money after he has finished trading with it. I only know of one time that a refund has been given though, it was for less than 3K.

As long as you secure a judgment against him as the director it doesn't matter if he dissolves the company he will always owe the money. He thought he found a loophole by creating a limited company LOL

His reputation in business is non existent, he has no friends on social media, just bought followers, paid views and likes. Clinging to the image of a man he could never be, just a scamming wannabe. Although he may have scammed us, in the process he has scammed himself out of a solid business reputation, his name is forever stained and legacy forever tarnished. A fraudster and a scammer isn't the same thing. A fraudster will sell you a box containing fools gold that you thought was real gold, a scammer will sell you an empty box. A fraudster has a real product, just not the product you thought it was going to be, a scammer has no product. The lowest kind of person is a scammer, not strong enough to run a real business and deal with the highs and lows of real business, too weak to manage real people and deal with real customers, so just hides behind copy and paste responses. Such a sad and pathetic existence.

Now he will flag this review and claim bullying, despite ruining people's special occasions with these scams. He is probably the weakest most cowardly man i have ever come across, a utter disgrace to his family lineage, he should have never been born.

Complete Scam,

Complete Scam,

I hired and paid the deposit and full amount as requested to Classic Parade to hire an Audi RS6 in May 2024 for my sons prom at the end of June 2024. Classic parade stated that they would contact me the day before to arrange delivery and collection of the car, however there was no contact from them and the phone number provided on the website is a pre-recorded message which after the message just continues to ring, which I have tried numerous times and no one to actually speak to. Completely ruined what was going to be a fantastic evening for my son at his prom, with no apology at all from Classic Parade and no refund.

Eventually received an email from a rent address at classic parade stating that they were having issues with their bank account and was unable to refund my deposit and payment at that time.

However I can confirm that still as of today (21 Oct 24) that there still has been no refund or apology. Thankfully I have a full copy of all but limited correspondence from Classic Parade as evidence of my booking and their excuses for delayed refund.

Latest update: 24/01/26 After numerous emails sent and still no response to any of them requesting a refund of the money nor any correspondence from Classic Parade, would suggest that this company is still a complete scam and would advise anyone looking to hire a vehicle for a special day to avoid these at all costs.

The responses posted by Classic Parade all seem to be identical and if they would like evidence of my order and payment made to themselves then maybe they could contact me and I would be more than happy to provide the full details.

Very much feels like a scam

I'm becoming increasingly concerned this is a scam.

They were quick to reply to my online request months ago, providing a quote and invoice. When I queried why it's only payable by bank transfer and not credit card, I was consistently ignored by email. I've tried calling and it simply rings out (after the message states how highly rated they are and quick at answering emails). The one person that ever emailed back has told me it's busy season but still fails to answer my questions. I finally got a link to make a £250 deposit, which I stupidly paid then silence again. The rental is due tomorrow, yet I'm being ignored. Why do I need to pay the whole cost up front? It doesn't add up!

I normally can't be bothered writing reviews or giving feedback, but this is verrrry dodgy! I'll delete if things work out.

Nobody there ! Zero Customer Service

I was very excited to be able to use this firm. Website looked great, car offering was excellent and prices were fair. However, I just wanted to check a couple of things before I booked and am so glad I did.

No response to the website "query" facility.
No response to email &
Nobody answers the 'phone.

This is not a business I would trust with my money and I would strongly advise others not to take a chance.

UPDATE: So Classic Parade have now written to TrustPilot claiming my review contains "harmful or illegal content" and requesting it be taken down. (Clearly it doesn't but make your own mind up)

Which led me to read the other 1 star reviews ... There is clearly a pattern here; no communication, cars not provided, money taken but no refunds given. Sounds like I dodged a bullet.

However, Classic Parade claims that anyone who points this out either:
- they have no record of or
- is a fake or malicious review
Going back YEARS !!

I stand by my original comments. Buyer beware !

UPDATE 2: So, Classic Parade have now flagged the "update" section above as containing "defamatory content". Which means TrustPilot hide the review while they investigate.

Things are only defamatory if they are not true. Read the other reviews and you will see that what I have stated is perfectly correct.

This is clearly a tactic to get poor reviews removed for periods of time.

Again, I stand by what I have said but by all means read all the other content and make your own mind up.

UPDATE 3: Interestingly, everyone who has posted a 1 star review has now had a "Legal notice" slapped on them. The whole point of Trustpilot is to highlight people's experiences, good or bad. We are not in some dictatorship when you can not say anything negative.

The truth should not be silenced !

Paid a fee and never heard from them

I tried to hire a BMW M3, I paid my booking fee of £250 and....nothing. A standard automated response 4 hours of paying but nothing else. No other communication of any kind. I booked the car on the 28th of August and have still heard nothing back.
Do not use this company, they are a scam, will take your money and then do nothing. They say 24hours, but its now been 5 days and nothing. No reputable company would go this long without any form of communcation. Terrible company, avoid!

Do not use this company they will take your money and never deliver a car it is a scam my son was let down on prom day as they didn’t deliver a car and reuse to refund £5650 which was paid for the service

Reputable company with a great fleet of…

Reputable company with a great fleet of cars. Easy hassle free delivery up and collection. Staff were very friendly throughout. Booking / paperwork was done upon arrival in 10 mins. No hiccups whatsoever. The experience made our trip a memorable one.
