Be very wary with this company!
Very unhappy with the service I have received from clifton.
Sent questions asking how the velcro is positioned on the Netball bibs and if this could be changed, the reply was normally in an L shape but yes it can be made to any requirements.
I very specifically requested velcro in a certain size and length for the netball bibs, this was in the same email I sent with the logos so was received and read.
There was no mention of the velcro in the design pack so I was under the impression that it was just for the printing. The bibs arrived and the velcro is too big so if we use them they will ruin our dresses.
I sent pictures showing this and the repeated response I got was I accepted the pack therefore its my fault!!
Then rudely got told they won't be responding to anymore emails!!
Funny enough the velcro didn't arrive in a L shape so they clearly read my email just messed up the measurements and are refusing to admit it.
Will now be taking this to trading standards to get the matter resolved as the goods are not as requested.

I NEVER SAID WE WERE GOING TO PURCHASE DRESSES FROM YOURSELVES AS WE ALREADY HAD THEM MADE LAST YEAR FROM A DIFFERENT COMPANY AND MY PHOTO WITH THE VELCRO MEASUREMENTS REQUIRED CLEARLY SHOWS OUR PERSONALISED DRESSES.
ALSO I NEVER THREATENED I WAS GOING TO POST A REVIEW, I STATED I WAS GOING TO TRADING STANDARDS WHICH I WILL.
QUITE HAPPY TO PROVE ALL THIS WITH MY EMAILS THAT I SENT.

I gave you a brief of my requirements in my emails with a detailed photo of measurements.
At no point have I been threatening towards your staff and at no point have you bent over backwards to help, all you have done is blamed myself.

It is very disappointing to read your review which is a poor reflection of the reality - as our positive reviews and 13+ years of successful trading show we always work with our customers to ensure successful delivery and where there are issues will bend over backwards to put things right as we work very hard to maintain our hard earned reputation.
As such we were saddened to read your threats to post a negative review unless we replaced the netball patches you ordered with us, however as the product matches the order pack you approved before production we are not in a position to do so without charging for this. Our order packs are detailed to ensure zero confusion and to quickly resolve queries.
You will be aware we have responded to all your emails quickly & professionally and in these emails have explained that the velcro on these patches is shaped to fit our netball dresses - you were looking to order these dresses with us as at the time - as such when you placed your order with us for patches that specification was shown on the order pack PDF.
As these are made to order there are no limitations and we can manufacture these to any size required however it is important to stress that you approved the order pack with the specification clearly displayed and the product delivered exactly matches this.
I'm sorry but we will never accept intimidation of our staff and this is why we had to respectfully cease email contact with you after the third attempt at explaining the above was met with an all caps tirade.

Thanks for your feedback, I've looked into this and can see we sent you an email to confirm your order was in production, you later emailed us for a status update and we advised it was being completed and due to be sent which it was that week (with a slight delay to delivery times due to pressure on our couriers DHL due to COVID-19 PPE shipments). There were no other emails from you for us to reply to and we kept you fully updated on the progress of your order which was manufactured and delivered to you during a global pandemic that has closed many other businesses.
I am sorry that you feel this warrants a 1 star rating and hope that others seeing this will take a more reasonable understanding of the facts given the explanation provided, we hope you enjoying wearing your garment and please email us with anything we can do to further assist.

Dreadful almost without exception
A truly woeful experience and product, use Clifton if you have to, but have these expectations:
1. Expect very cheap materials. I ordered chinos and they were 100% polyester, cheap and nasty.
2. Don't expect a refund. The T&C's make it extremely difficult to get a refund of any sort, even if the products you receive are not as you ordered. Read carefully!
3. Expect to wait. While production and delivery is fast, any dealings with customer services is extremely slow and even obstructive.
4. Expect poor sizing and production errors. Samples are an ABSOLUTE MUST as sizing charts are useless. My order was manufactured 4 inches too big and it took them months to accept this error, still denying a refund.
5. Expect to be deceived. This China-based company provided me with the wrong fabrics, denied and ignored my requests for a refund. I was left feeling as though I could at any moment have communications cut and be left with only the incorrect and mismanufactured products I received. It took me 6 months to finally receive a replacement, which was not the solution I wanted.

Thank you for submitting this review which we are both disappointed and surprised to see.
When your order was delivered you contacted us to advise dis-satisfaction with the standard fabric and slim fit sizing. Our priority is always to have our customers fully satisfied with their experience and we offered to remake the order in a more premium fabric and for your members to adjust their ordered sizes at the same time.
At this point you requested a single pair for your approval prior to the full remake, which we gladly delivered and you emailed on receipt "I received your sample last week and I am pleased to say that it was considerably more satisfying than what I received last time", at which point we then proceeded and delivered the full order remade at no cost to you in a more premium fabric than originally ordered.
Given the above, and the other reviews on this page painting a picture quite different from your statements, we are disappointed to see such a negative review of your experience which we do not believe accurately reflects the situation.
We are here to help should you wish to discuss further, our Studio team have reached out to you again to see what we can do .

Great product
Great product in the end but there was a fair bit of miscommunication between me and the customer service team. Would be much easier to communicate via messenger nowadays as emails can tend to drag a bit and things often get sent across incorrectly. Had to ask 3 times to pay by credit card but each time was still asked to do a bank transfer?? Also expected the shipping to be free considering the amount of money I was spending. Other than the complicated communication the product was great and I was very pleased, including with their eco friendly packaging 😊
