Very prompt and helpful response after I ordered the wrong battery

I have two lawns and the battery did both on a full charge ok they are not that big but using my Ryobi takes 3 changes of battery. This lawnmower is well made and the best I’ve had

Bought a brand new Cobra Lawnmower, that wont now go into drive. Took it to Henton & Chattell to get it fixed under warranty who now tell me that its not covered on warranty. Total Rubbish, don't ever buy one..... I certainly wont be buying one ever again!!!

Received in good time and easy to use.
Easily put together and light when in use.

I'll be buying more of their products in the future.

This was the 3rd cart we have bought. The first one was 6 years ago and certainly had some hammering up and down our very large garden. We then bought a larger one a few months ago. Unfortunately the wheel bearings went on the 6 year old cart so decided to cut our losses and buy a new one. We had issues with the locking bar but this has now been resolved.

Very robust equipment, all ready purchased hedge trimmer, and was extremely satisfied, therefore had no hesitation in going for Cobra strimmer

COBRA Gtrm43 received 16/03/26, seemed OK if not a bit plasticy, the cord isn't really long enough considering it is meant for medium sized gardens. We needed a good mower as our petrol Mountfield was getting too temperamental and this one had good reviews. We had to do our first cut of the season it was laborious the mower is poor on longer grass, we has to cut with height set high then recut on a lower setting. Cannot say that the rear roller strip effect was evident. We have had intermittent rain in the last month so grass hasn't been dry enough to cut, when it finally dried up on the first push of the mower the blade started making a weird noise, we found it has come loose but the bolt was perfectly intact. I contacted Cobra Garden and they asked for photos saying they would get back to me ASAP, I had to chase and was finally advised the boss and blade would need replacing I would need to take it to a local dealer who was over 10 miles away. It was only when I asked how the warranty work I was advised that these parts are not under warranty. I quoted Consumer Rights 2015 6 month rule but as expected they refused to honour this saying we must have hit something because damaging the blade, stating my photos showed the blade was chipped. The mower barely moved 1 metre through longish grass hitting nothing before the boss pins shredded causing the blade to come loose. I have told there technical guy we hit nothing, previous mows may have hit a pebble but the boss pins hadn't shred then, and having owned several mowers in the past the blade isn't bent and marks are minimal the plastic boss pins are supposed to shred to save the engine bit seem to fragile and not fit for purpose if the cannot cope with an average lawn. They told me that the blade must be perfectly smooth to stop the boss pins from shredding keep advising me to go to there dealer to check if it is a warranty claim but having already been told that the boss, blade, drive belt and practically every part that might go wrong aren't covered I don't see the point in a 20 mile round trip. Could have paid someone to cut my grass for the 3 months for what I paid for the mower. Yes I could get it repaired but it feels like good money after bad. The 2 year warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on, only really covers electrical faults as per their t&Cs.
