Great service, didn’t even know it had been delivered so quickly!!

I ordered oil on 29th March with a delivery date of the 22nd April which I considered very slow. However on 22nd it did not arrive. I called the office and was told that they had problems with the tanker. They could not give me a delivery date. Today is the 26th April, still no oil. The least they could have done is called me or emailed me to keep me informed but nothing other than two emails asking me to review them. Well I have and my view is that they are not up to the task

We have been regular customers for several years, now you cannot depend on promised delivery times. Ring up and a mountain of excuses are spouted every time regardless of us being dependant on oil for cooking, heating and hot water. Three times this has happened since last Autumn. On placing our order last month we were told 3 to 4 weeks delivery. In the 3rd week we rang to check when delivery would be as we only had about 1 inch of oil left in the tank. Waste of time, all we got was they would deliver 'As soon as possible' On asking what he meant, days... weeks... the same statement was continually repeated.
Only good comment I can make about Consol are their courteous drivers.

We're not listening to the companys' excuses anymore so they've lost our purchase of 4000 litres a year.

We rang another local company who were very helpful, said they could deliver within 5 days. In fact they delivered in less than 2 days.

We ordered and were told it would be delivered on or before 11th April, we had a note put on the order to ring the night before because of bird flu regulations gate is kept locked. There was no contact with us, we had to ring on 8th to see if the delivery would be on 11th as we had a hospital appointment. Rang on 11th and were told should be sometime next day.
Delivery driver most courteous and efficient, but it would have been much easier to be given a day as the order was placed on 19th March, do you expect people to sit and wait for a delivery for almost a month?

My order of 21st March stated delivery on or before 12th April. I had no update from NWF to say it would be late, but I did get this automated mail asking for a star rating. When I called the local depot, it was clear that the information passed to them did not include promised delivery dates. The local depot organised my delivery as my tank was nearly empty. Hence 2 stars!

I will never use consols ever again!
Ordered oil, had our money taken, waited a rediculous amount of weeks, no correspondence, fobbed off with excuses, in this time we actually ran out of oil, which left us with no heating or hot water!
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY!

They were unable to deliver my order or confirm when they would deliver the order despite giving me a delivery date 4 weeks ago. They took payment on the day I ordered but have yet to refund me. In the meantime I had to order elsewhere otherwise we would run out of oil. So I’m hugely out of pocket having paid twice. The customer service has been non-existent. I would not have left a review but kept getting chaser emails to review a non-existent service!

Ordered & paid for oil for delivery 1st April.
Phoned 29th Mar oil very low. Told it would be sorted. Phoned today didn't seem to know about previous call. Not on delivery list for today 31st Mar or tomorrow. Aga off & no central heating over weekend! Not a happy Bunny.
Right hand would not seem to speak to Left hand!

Delivered on time and I was able to determine my spend level which in these tough financial times was very welcome.

The previous owner gave us their Consol Oils number. We have used them twice now and only them as they have delivered on time (if not earlier) and have been the most competitive on price that I have found. Cannot fault them.

The order took a little longer than expected to arrive with very little communication from the supplier. However, the delivery driver was very nice and friendly and a credit to the company. He had to manoeuvre his truck through our narrow drive to the tank at the back of the house which took great driving skills and to help his colleagues in the future he took photos for them of the driveway and narrow turning space to so it would be easier for them.

I was disappointed that I needed to remind them that they had missed the date they gave for delivery, I had ordered a good time in advance and paid, and felt that had I not chased the order I would have been forgotten.
