My experience with placing, receiving and getting a refund for my order was very good, quick turnaround and resolution. I just wish the product was as good, both my ankle boots split within 3 months. Cant fault customer service though.

I bought a pair of Cotswold walking shoes sometime ago and after very little use both shoes have split where the upper meets the sole. They were sub standard and not fit for purpose. Cotswold did not deny this but I was subsequently stonewalled by its customer service department. A company to avoid?

Bought cotswold wellies from moles County store they lasted 11 months before falling apart, letting water in, splits in the rubber. So kindly cotswold shoes replaced under their 12 months policy.
The new pair lasted 14 months before falling apart, £79.99 wellies. I'm a farmer and these wellies are definitely a load of rubbish. Avoid if using daily.

I’ve had a pair of Cotsworld Chelsea Boots for over a year and the things are nearly indestructible. They’ve been up Mt Snowden, the sea of Pembrokeshire and battered on hundreds of dogs walk and are still waterproof and comfy. So much so that I had to order another pair, but the ones I wanted were out of stock. Emailed customer service and got a friendly reply from Lydia within 24 hours who told me when the boots will be back in stock. Cannot rate Cotswold Shoes enough!

I was really happy when my boots arrived on time, however on first wear I ended up with wet socks. I immediately emailed customer services with a picture of the leaky area and recieved an email that said they would get back to me asap howevere they were working through a high volume of enquiries. I had to chase up a response one week later only to be told that despite the picture showing the fault I would need to return the boots for examination. Very disappointed as I had already been without my (not cheap) new boots for a week.

The garden boots, ankle are narrow is not easy to wear, I choose 2 number bigger, because of ankle is narrow and very tight difficult to wear and company didn't accept return, customer service zero, not recommend it.

Lovely wellies and great options. Arrived promptly. I accidentally ordered wrong size and refund was easy and second pair also arrived promptly!

The boots I received today were at least 1 size smaller than they should have been. I’m unable to wear them at all even without socks. I’m 64 & have been wearing size 6 for over 50 years, so normally this isn’t a problem.
When I rang customer services to ask about the issue & the fact I’m expected to pay return postage for a product that is categorically NOT as described, I was told there ‘is no standard sizing for shoes, even within a brand’.
Astonishing. I’ve emailed customer services today but am not hopeful of a pair of boots (I bought 2 pairs) that I can actually use on holiday. I would save your money & buy a more reliable brand that doesn’t expect you to fund their faulty & badly marketed products.

This is my second pair of Cotswold Shoes Wellington boots. I had my previous pair for years, and they’re wonderful: really strong and hard wearing; completely waterproof; blissfully comfortable; very smart and reasonably priced. In short - everything you could possibly want!
