Cottman of Louisville Avis

Greg and the team at Cottman gave A+ service!

We are very pleased with the rebuilt transmission.

Only wish they had identified the specific cause of brake pulsation. Said brake pads look good, but did not dig deeper (calipers, cylinder?).

Still hearing brake noises. Worrisome.

Dennis Johnson

quick, efficient and friendly. Don Harris kept me informed the whole time the vehicle was there. Great company to do business with

I've used Cottman twice, once for a pre purchase inspection and once for a bad cam actuator sensor. Both times I was blown away by how upfront, and honest these guys were and how reasonable their fees were. I will return for any automotive repair needs they can handle. Great team that I've grown to trust, not an easy accomplishment for a repair facility. Fyi they do waaayy more than just transmissions.

Great customer service. They explained everything they did. I highly recommend them.

This is one of the best shops in Louisville. They are knowledgeable, polite, efficient, and excellent at communicating with me regarding the status of my vehicle. Would recommend to anyone.

Service was excellent and fast. My truck truly runs so much better. I have found my new mechanic and am very grateful to find someone I feel I can trust!

Great customer service! Trustworthy and reliable. I consider that a luxury in these times. They officially have a new customer in me!

Fast Service, although very busy. Very helpful & informative. Very affordable fir the quality of their work. Highly recommend!

Greg was very helpful and informative. He sent the repair estimate to me and referred me to a colleague who was also quick and helpful. I would highly recommend Greg's services.

Professional and accurate when determining what repairs are needed.
On time as promised.

They were honest and upfront. First rebuild was not up to their satisfaction so the did it again. Have had it back for two weeks appears to be fine have not driven it much due to the covid quarantine.

Excellent, timely service, at a fair price.

Cottman Transmission is a GREAT place to repair your vehicle. Not only are they honest and thorough, they won't gouge you with unneeded repairs. Top notch service! A++++

Excellent service! Staff is personable, attentive, they explain very well the potential issue, provide a very good estimation of cost, keep you apprised of their findings, cost, expected results and actual performance. Overall this is an Excellent shop an example of integrity, trustworthiness, and exceptional customer service.

Excellent work, thorough.

Took my work truck in to try and figure out why it was having electrical issues. Cottman does not normally do electrical things, but offered to try and figure it out. Took a couple of days and quite a few man hours, but worked with me on price to get it done.
