Crafted Meats Avis 

Really great meat, succulent and flavoursome (steak and gammon). Delivery dates all over the place, but logged into account every day for (eventual) dispatch date. Worth the wait, would give the produce a full 5 stars for quality.

Recent purchase of kebabs , rare breed belly pork didn't come as advertised.

Only when I requested a refund from PayPal did they send an order out .

The order wasn't what I ordered , was low quality no labelled food that looked like it had been pre frozen.

Instead of beef kebabs with garlic oil , I got a pack of sandwich beef that is discoloured

Instead of chicken and chorizo kebabs I got a pack of plain chicken

Instead of rare bread belly pork I got what looks like bacon pieces .

Instead of 2 packs of minted lamb I got 4 pieces of plain lamb

The rare breed sausages venison and boar ended up being the sausage mans venison Frankfurters .

Either this company is going bust or its just deliberately scamming people . Either way please avoid

I understand the delay in delivery and appreciate that you consulted me.
My disappointment is with the "Cote de Boeuf".
What I have received appears to me to be a piece of sirloin (as in the sirloin side of a T bone with the bone).
My understanding, and experience of "Cote de Boeuf" is that this is normally from the rib and has a rib bone or two. I would normally BBQ this. What I have received does not look like this and has none of the marbling I would have expected.

Paid £10 for next day delivery it’s been a week now and still not arrived, emailed asking for an update and had no reply

I am not one to leave many reviews but you guys deserve it in every metric there is. The delivery was prompt, the packing was perfect, I ordered roughly a months supply of beef mince and it tucked away nicely. Came fresh and cool with the use of proper chilled packaging.

It only gets better from there, I cooked the mince on its zero spices and flavourings and oh my, that month supply is probably a fortnight, I can’t stop eating it, it’s so good. The quality is the best I’ve had, the taste is unmatched, the beef is perfect and it is a very reasonable price compared to others and it is actually around a similar price I pay for pumped up poor quality meat from the super market.

No delivery, even after several weeks, and no response in contacting the firm

Great service fast delivery and great sausages

Purchased the chatiebriand and sirloin steak, both equally exceptional.
Used my hot rock to cook the steaks on and it was an amazing.
Delivered on time n easy online purchase x

Incomplete order still owed £37 and no replies from this company. Buyer BEWARE!

Excellent quality meat, but package was posted without 2 items, took ages to get a response and I've still only received a refund for one item

One item missing and also ordered a bone in Boston butt only to receive a boneless rolled shoulder (labelled Boston Butt !!).
Took 3 emails and two weeks to reply back, they refunded the missing item and an explanation that they had ran out of Boston Butt but I was sent basically the same (which it isn’t).

Hate giving negative reviews but this company need to pull their socks up !

My order came minus some items I had ordered - corned beef hash pie x 3 and a venison steak. There was no explanation for the missing items until I rang up and was told the corned beef hash wasn't being made any more as not enough of them sold and the venison was seasonal and as I had ordered in advance it was not now available. I rate the meat and pies from Crafted Meats very highly but surely it should be made plain why items were missing. I was not offered a refund until I rang up.

The quality of the products is great, the selection is excellent and they always came fresh and well packed with ice packs and thermal bags.

However...

I'm taking away 2 stars until they learn how to do proper customer support and communication, it's unnacceptable to consistently miss delivery dates without any communication whatsoever. Last order arrived about a week late. My initial inquiry about the status of the order went ignored, and only after the second message where I threatened with challenging the card charge and reporting to trading standards they replied saying they didn't have items in stock. This is unnacceptable, I understand these things can happen but communication is key.

I'm sad to say that I'm not tempted to order again from this shop.

First of all the products are great .. really tasty .. however after not receiving many items on my order and emailing them twice to explain I've had not contact what so ever .. disappointing. Will I use them again .. probably not ..

I sent an email, regarding an item I didn’t receive O/N 18664 on 1st of June, I have had no reply as yet, otherwise the order was fine. The 3star review is because firstly the missing item and secondly, no reply to my email.

Order was missing two items. Mistakes happen but its now four days after contacting them and I am yet to hear back regarding either sending the items out or issuing a refund.

Ordered a 4kg whole sirloin flat from which I was able to cut 14 thick steaks and freeze them ready for a whole summer of grilling steaks on the bbq. I tried my first steak yesterday and it was fantastic. Always a risk buying meat online but this was a beautiful tasting bit of beef and excellent value.

Once again another wrong delivery, had a very bad experience last year when goods were delivered incorrectly, not on time and no one dealing with my queries. Decided on a 2nd chance because the products are good but once again a short delivery and no one answering my query, had to send another reminder for a refund. Won’t be using again as pointless being good products if the service is poor
