Crouch Recovery Avis 

Having broken down on the A14 14/9/25 late afternoon and pouring with rain, Crouch Recovery arrived to recover my 7.5 ton lorry with a valuable cargo inside and got me home to Colchester.
Thanks to Paul the recovery agent, it was a pleasure in your company as it turns out we had common interests.

On the 27th of August around 2:30am
We broke down in our MG ZS (clutch) on the M1 .crouch were very quick and efficient (thank you Simon)😁 the guy took us back to Derbyshire.
Their driver made a very upsetting ordeal easier because of his work ethics and reassurance.

After a terrible experience with RAC sending recovery vehicles unable to transport my motorhome, we eventually received a Crouch Recovery.
The driver, Lee Macness was wonderful. Very calm and reassuring. After 2 days of stress he reassured us he was able to help. He had a great knowledge of his job and worked thoroughly and methodically.
I travelled with him to the Ford garage. He is a very safe driver.
At the garage he escorted me into reception & explained the procedure.
This is a member of staff worth his weight In Gold.
My overall experience with Crouch has been 10/10 from their call handlers to their recovery driver.

Left a review last year around November 2024 time as crouch had recovered my scirocco from the M1 didn’t care at all resulting in my front splitter being smashed got passed around with nothing being done one the phone heard someone say “I’ll pay him £10 a week”?!!! Then got told it was passed to their insurance company never heard anything after that now in august of 2025 my number has been blocked by these! With nothing being done about it!

Would just like to say a big thank you to Chris and Kieran from crouch for there patients and understanding with our camper van , firstly from M1 and then from home to garage .
The service was ten out of ten and both such lovely guys and amazing at their job .

One word: Shaun! Shaun made this experience, which is less than ideal so much better. What a legend. Calm, funny, kind and very professional. Can’t thank him enough. Nice one Shaun. Even stayed with me whilst I was sorted with the next guy as he wasn’t allowed to take me all my way.

Having stopped for what I meant to be a short snooze at 11pm on a motorway, I woke to find that I had fallen asleep with the lights on and was alone with a totally flat battery at 4am in a deserted gas station. Luck was with me however, as a Crouch Recovery van was unbelievably parked nearby. The recovery driver was SO obliging and helpful. He hopped out and had my car started in 2 minutes. I know which company I will call in future! Thank you.

Thanks to Shaun who recovered our vehicle after a double puncture and wheel damage on a dark Sunday night. He was extremely professional and reassuring - the location was known to him from previous incidents. He took great care to ensure our safety and we cannot thank him enough.

After being involved in an accident, Crouch recovery were called to recover my vehicle. Two drivers came and Chris and James were exceptional, they took care of me and my daughter, ensuring we were ok and got to were we needed to be, they went above and beyond, were thoughtful, considerate and kind, I was a mess! I cannot thank them enough

Follow the leaf spring failing on my motorhome while it was in storage, it was recovered to my proffered garage by Crouch Recovery this morning (via GreenFlag May Day). Booked a couple of days in advance, I received a call around 20mins before arrival and well within the time slot given. The driver Rob, was extremely helpful and loaded/unloaded my motorhome with great care. I'd like to thank Rob for this assistance again.

Our trailer was recovered on Sunday 9th March from the M6 and taken to the Wolvey depot.

Crouch recovered a bus and trailer for us, from the M6 to Oxfordshire. It was not an easy job, particularly at our end because of difficult access. The guys were so helpful, patient, good-tempered and co-operative. Crouch should be proud of them as representatives of their company. We are very appreciative.

As the manager of a busy Main Dealer we deal with recovery agents regularly, I have to say that every interaction with Crouch Recovery is always brilliant, every member of staff I have dealt with have always been professional, efficient and so easy to deal with.
If I was ever unlucky enough to break down I would want to see a Crouch truck coming to save me.

Slowest recovery I have ever had. Took 4 hours to get to me to jump start a battery what took 5 minutes. Why say between 60 and 90 mins.
