AVOID THIS DEALER – TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

I strongly advise anyone considering buying a vehicle from North West Trade Centre to think very carefully before handing over their money.

I paid a £200 deposit on 10 August 2026 and a further £8,244 on 3 September 2026, making a total of £8,444.

Before buying the car, I dealt with Kieran. He specifically told me that the gearbox service would be carried out and that the vehicle would receive a 100+ point health check. When I collected the car, I was told this had been done and that the paperwork would be sent afterwards. Despite repeatedly asking, I never received the promised documentation.

Shortly after purchase, I arranged an independent diagnostic check. It found several faults, including gearbox/transmission faults and an issue involving the charge movement flap/manifold. There were also concerns regarding the battery/cold starting and brake discs.

I initially gave the dealer the opportunity to resolve the problems, but the communication was extremely frustrating. I repeatedly had to chase for answers, documents and updates.

I would strongly advise anyone dealing with Kieran to be very careful about relying on verbal promises. In my experience, I was repeatedly given information and assurances that were not followed through. I felt misled and completely lost trust in what I was being told. Get everything in writing.

Trying to contact the manager was also extremely difficult. On several occasions I was told the manager would be working the following day, only to call and suddenly be told that the manager was off. Emails also went unanswered.

I eventually rejected the vehicle and returned it to North West Trade Centre on 18 September 2026.

Kieran then confirmed in writing:

“Car returned for unwind km15vdt amount £8444 on 18/09/2026 due to several faults with car”

I was told the £8,444 refund would take 3–5 days. That deadline passed. I chased again and was told:

“Should be today or monday mate”

Monday came and went and I still had no refund. I sent further emails, but the dealer stopped responding.

As of today, I still have not received my £8,444. The dealer has my returned vehicle while I am still waiting for my money.

I have now had to raise a dispute with my bank and provide evidence because the agreed refund has not been paid.

This has been extremely stressful and time-consuming. I took time off work to collect the vehicle, then had to deal with diagnostics, repeated communication, returning the car and now chasing for my money.

I have kept the emails, messages, photographs and diagnostic evidence. I am also attaching screenshots of the correspondence so potential customers can see some of what happened for themselves.

Based on my experience, I would never buy another vehicle from this company.

My advice is simple: get every promise in writing, demand proof of servicing and inspections, have the car independently checked and do not rely on verbal assurances.

AVOID THIS DEALER.

bought a kia sportage from them on the 5th of september when i nearly got home it started to judder did same thing monday morning thought it was the breaks setting in as they where new oh how wrong i was both drive shafts where faulty rung them and they wanted me to drive back to lancaster in an unroadworthy car so wont be dealing with that dealership again
