CUA Avis 

Worst banking institution I have been been a customer of. Nothing has gone smoothly since I opened my accounts. Sick of dealing with the incompetent staff and a system that is just flawed. Never again.

When i first join them several years ago, what i like was their community spirit/ethos which made me feel like a valued customer - sadly over the years as they've grown and become increasing arrogant and expensive - they are now just like the big 4. i asked to cancel my policy, rather than processing my request i got a 20min sales call from a patronising, arrogant, argumentative sales member bamboozling me with irrelevant stats, facts and figures doing his best to persuade me not to leave.

after placing a formal complaint i got a half-arsed apology saying sorry you thought our premiums are too high - totally ignored the reason i complained (pushy sales) will now close by bank account with them and support a credit union that values its customers.

Excellent credit union with great service and interest rates.
Much better than the big banks that charge customers fees for no service.

When my card was due for renewal but none arrived I called cua.. Was tald I am now using new card and have activated it.. When disputing that operator sounded confused and unhelpful.. She then suggested to cancel the nonexistent card and issue another.. Hopeless they are

I have been a customer with CUA for last 6 years, never received a good customer service, have so many bad experiences. Can’t wait to leave this place, waiting to finish my construction to refinance.

We have been members of CUA for 40 years, having originally joined the Communications Credit Union. The service has always been good, but your Home Loans Specialist, Shaz Kumar of Macarthur Square Campbelltown recently surpassed everything we could have wished for. Our whole family banks with CUA and when our son Chris needed to negotiate a home loan to pay out his ex wife, Shaz was very understanding and professional. Would you please pass on our whole families' thanks for a great service at what was a very stressful time. Lynne and John Poleson

Within one month of opening a mortgage they upped the rate, renamed my product and began selling it under the old rate to new customers.
In addition to this I had applied 6 months in advance only to be greeted with dozens of forms such as a form to open the attached transaction account on the day of my mortgage forcing me to have to have to take a day off work to submit it all in a panic

I have called 3 times this afternoon 1st time 17min 2nd 12min 3rd 35 min and still holding on. I am disgusted with this bank. I have been hacked by an affiliation with this bank Samsung pay whom Cua highly recommend. Now I am locked out of my account and down over 200. Card is locked and can't buy dinner for my granddaughter or myself. Going elsewhere asap. Now over 40min 3rd time.
