Their treatment towards there black and…

Their treatment towards there black and ethnic patients here are very discriminatory.

They are in support of chemically retraining patients, whilst promising patients section 17 leave just to cancel it afterwards.

Hospital manager Lotti is very unprofessional while patronising and discriminatory towards black people. I refuse to communicate with a racist like that.

The nurses are very rude towards parents trying to get an update regarding those who they have sectioned illegally under the MHA 1983,whilst colluding with Cygnet joyce parker hospital Coventry to further abuse patients by totally withdrawing there freedom rights and liberties by ostricizing patients family and friends from individuals treatment plans, after they raise safe guarding issues about patients, there is alot of defensive practicing towards patients going on between the 2 cygnet hospitals under Coventry and Wolverhampton.

Drs here at Wolverhampton such as Dr Benjamin and Dr Kurian need to be inspected by the General Medical Council, due when patients are been chemically restraint by the misuse of benzodiazepines and anti psycotics, that goes against the Misuse of Drugs Act, When friends and family flag these concerns up and request for certain blood tests which Dr's are not in support of like a LC, GC and MS test to determine exactly what agents, such as medications are been misused against patients that are putting them into a state of Acute Induced Catonia, which they have been doing with my son for the last 2 years with the help of WMP bournville, Forward thinking BSMHT, Dr Pankarnia, Dr Hannah Bonnie Leach and Cathy Rawlings, Nikki Collins, Dr Domingo Gonzalez Naranjo, Dr Hassan Ibrahim, Dr Louis Eltagi, Dr Shannon, (psychologist) Margaret Davies, and Sumuuya Patel, MP Preet Kaur Gill, and then using the presentation as a means to keep him in.

I'm very delighted to see that all reviews on here from white patients seem to be positive but unfortunately the same can not be said for the black patients.

I've raised safeguarding issues about this monstrous hospital due to hospital manager lotti been in support of Dr's mistreating patients whilst not carrying out the right investigations when patients are not presenting to well as a result of been shipped to this hospital after they have been chemically retrained at Cygnet Coventry.

I was told by Dr domingo at Conventry, I would be ostricized out from seeing my son after they displaced me as nearest relative for challenging the inhumane practicing if I keep challenging their treatment style, so they sent my son here where wolverhampton have totally excluded me from my sons treatment plans but I'm going to make sure everyone of these monsters are sacked!

The icing on the cake was when a social worker by the name of Edgard Noua Nde from Birmingham City council went to do a safeguarding check on my son, on the 13/8/26 to then lie and say my son wanted the safeguarding issue closed when he never said no such thing after been put in an acute induced state of catotonia for the 4th time that Wolverhampton and Coventry have tried to hide,

These hospitals along side their multidisciplinary teams raises a public interest concern due to the level of maladministration alongside malicious retaliation after safeguarding issues get raised against the different cygnet health's organisations due to the different misconducts of the doctors, these doctors are no different to Dr shipman that murdered all the patients covertly he was claiming to treat, the only difference with drs working under the MHA 1983 is they are allowed to murder or attempt to murder while claiming to be treating patients under MHA, this is a grave state abuse the goes against article 17 of the ECHRs.

I don't even give this hospital a 1 star rating but you have to, to be able to leave a comment, in my opinion all cygnet hospitals pose a conflict of interest towards UK citizens because of who their partnering agencies are such as universal health services which is an American health organisation!

A Journey

I was there for a long while but needed to get me on my feet and in the right direction which was out of mental health services and into the community on a permanent basis so I look back and say there were some good people that wanted to help themselves and find the right track, the staff would help if the patient wanted to help themselves, good experience

The hospital is so slow

The hospital is so slow. Takes over a month to sort out an account and put money on. They dont help with benefits they dont help the patient. I called up to speak to my partner and I got told that their canteen had flooded and what bed my partner was in. But I only wanted to speak to him. One of the main doctors said she'd call me bk she didnt. Over a week it took and in the end we had a meeting because i was on the phone to cqc making an complaint She didnt listen to my concerns about my partner being in such a place. They didnt help my partner in no way shape or form over a month being in their now they transferring him to another cgyent group because they are unable/ incapable to sort benefits out. Ive been lied to over and over again. It took 3 weeks for him to be let outside for a cigarette even thou he was getting told everyday he could go out. Some staff cant speak good English and I couldnt understand some of them. I gave them food for my partner and they left it out for over 5 hours and their was chicken in their.
This place needs to be shut down as its not their to help the ppl inside they just getting money off the government.
The only nice ppl in there is the receptionists!

It’s a business, staff don’t matter!

Cygnet commissions NHS patients, where they could not be admitted locally due to lack of bed availability.
It works like NHS from a patient’s perspective.
However, for staff, Cygnet is an American company so it is ruthless when it comes down to business. Poor staff support. Sick leave is non existent - so even if you have a life threatening condition like asthma, there is only 4 days per year is allocated so you lose pay but obviously you can’t come to work.
Maternity pay is extremely poor only 4 weeks paid leave then statutory.
Whistleblowing is difficult as you are undermined and blamed for no fault of your own.
Staff go through several assaults but the company does not take responsibility for it and there is no long-term staff support. I suppose someone needs to die in order to take any organisational decision.
System used for staffing uses minimum staff per shift to make profit, so often staff are left with difficulty doing their job.
You need to be a resilient person to work here and there is no compassion from Cygnet management. If you can just work without whistleblowing and standing up for right, then you will be fine- just put your head down and keep going. If you care about staff welfare, then don’t go to Cygnet. Low paid workers are mostly affected by the management. The management will take paid sick leave for them, but wouldn’t pay for staff below them who are paid a tiny fraction of their pay.

Worst place on Earth!

If I could leave ZERO stars for this company I would. Cygnet company cares NOTHING about our welfare. They are a money machine receiving £1000 a DAY from the NHS for each patient(inmate) that they kept. I was so HIGHLY medicated with lorazapam which I am HIGHLY allergic to! over and over again they kept upping my meds to the point that they INDUCED the symptoms that they were medicating me against, which they then would medicate me more for. I was zombified. the support staff were great but the psychiatrists were very cruel, wouldn't listen and treated us like we had zero sovereignty over our minds and bodies. It was a version of hell that I cant explain. I saw human right violations CONSTANTLY happening to inmates that were so atrocious that I am writing a book about it. At one point I was pushed into a broom closet by 4 BIG men and pinned down and injected. I was held for 3 months then finally discharged to homelessness. I was literally told that I had 1/2 hr to pack and leave with no ride provided at all. (normally they drive you and your belongings back home or to your new home) Its illegal for them to do this. So now I have no after care at all, I am homeless, living on the streets and get this they even have all of my art and won't return it or ship it to me. I had 40 large art pieces in my room since I was homeless I had ALL of my possessions with me. Please don't put your loved ones in these peoples hands! We leave worse than we do when we arrive. Cygnet is run by billionaires who don't care about mental health. Also ALL support staff get paid MINIMuM wage! Its disgraceful! If you all would like to call me and return my art, my clothes, my computer charger and my $1000 of essential oils that you didnt return to me you can call me. You have my number.

Stupid

I was bought into Cygnet Hospital after having an argument at Gatwick Airport with a passenger service agent because he did not allow me to board the plane when I was allowed, by the police. For me expressing my emotion!

The food is good but keeping me in a "hospital" and diagnosing me with schizophrenia is not right!

Totally uncaring.

Rang a ward to enquire about someone who I've known for 40 years, who used to phone me several times a day but has suddenly stopped. They wouldn't help and didn't ask me my relationship to the person. Seemed totally uninterested and unhelpful. I have heard such dreadful things about Cygnethealth and am extremely concerned. I have followed this person through several healthcare situations and have never come across staff who obviously have no care whatsoever for the individuals they are supposed to be caring for but don't. The record of this chain of private hospitals is appalling and distressing.

All staff from Psychiatrist and doctors. and most other staff except cleaners are truly dreadful. I’ve been in some hell holes before but I think this one takes the biscuit. Liars, cheats, goaders, corrupters and absolutely no duty of care. Majority of care workers etc absolutely dreadful. Woe betide anyone sending their loved one here. Beware the Nigerian mafia! Will stop at nothing to berate you.

Don’t think iv seen a worst place for…

Harrogate
Don’t think iv seen a worst place for mental health in my life. This is place is shocking. If I could give it less then one star I would.
You get a care plan offering you support. I have been here 6 days not one person has been up to me to offer anything offered in my care plan.
I was eating breakfast in the breakfast room males and females are allowed in the same room with no staff. A man was telling me about his sexual preferences and it’s cleaners with dusters on his private parts. Not something you want to hear with your morning cup of tea. I did report this nothing was done. I have always heard off other lady’s that this has happened before.
Don’t bother complaining it gets you on a 72 watch just for asking to sleep. Because they can’t stop the music from upstairs above your room. I was then put for a review to go on a section 2. The amp (socail worker) came she said your denying her of basic human rights of sleeping. She also said I have only been here half a hour and she had a headache. I was not put on a section as I was only put on the 72 hours watch because I ask to sleep after days of booming music coming in my room luckily the amp was there when this was happening.
Within 6 days iv been from informal to a 72 watch to a section 2 recommendation to leaving hospital with no medication all for wanting to sleep.
Please read other reviews before sending love ones here.
