I called into Dace German Car Centre to have a quick look at a car I’d seen online and had the pleasure of speaking with Steve. He genuinely could not have been more helpful.
Steve arranged for the car to be brought over, even though at that stage I only wanted to have a quick look inside. I then went away on holiday for a few days and realised I had a few more questions I’d forgotten to ask. I emailed Steve and he came back to me incredibly quickly with clear and helpful answers.
When I decided to go ahead with a test drive, Steve took the time to make sure all of my questions were answered and that I had everything I needed to make an informed decision. He is incredibly approachable, knowledgeable and patient, and at no point did I feel under any pressure to buy.
I’ve dealt with a number of car dealerships and salespeople over the years, and Steve is by far the best car specialist I’ve ever dealt with. He was professional and helpful throughout, gave me as much time as I needed, and even reassured me that he was always at the end of the phone if I needed anything.
Just a week after my first visit, I drove away in my shiny new car! I couldn’t be happier with the experience and would absolutely recommend Dace — and in particular Steve — to anyone looking for a car from one of the brands they specialise in.

We purchased a VW golf this week. The car is very good indeed and we are very happy with our purchase. More importantly the service we experienced from Steve was excellent. Steve was clear and efficient, friendly and very happy to answer our many questions. Professional and without all that nonsense associated with pressure selling, he laid out the details of the purchse, we had a test drive and, the car was beautifully presented, clean and well cared for. Even when there was small hiccup, while we waited he recommended a place to have lunch, which also very good :). Overall, I would recommend this seller and Steve in particular, this is what buying (and selling ) a car should be about. Well done to all involved.

Josh and the rest of the Dace German Car Centre were very helpful during my visit to purchase my new car. We had some issues with the finance company but the team worked late to try and get it sorted and again came in early the next day to complete the sale to allow me to get off ASAP. There were some minor issues identified with car when I test drove but because I needed to drive away that day DACE agreed to fix the issue when I return next month. Everyone was friendly and I felt the team done what they could to help me drive away that day.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Jon Bibby who was friendly, approachable and made my whole experience really pleasant and easy.

My husband and I arrived at the showroom looking for a Mini Cooper, we saw one we really liked so asked for help. We were assisted by Noel Eastwick at he Stockport showroom on Manchester Road, he was very friendly, extremely helpful and knowledgeable which made everything so straightforward and easy, we are very happy with our purchase, thank you Noel!

Dace stood out, as the opposite of many previous experiences; in that I was treated with genuine respect, a highly professional and friendly manner.

Noel was nothing but professional and explained everything clearly to me.

Very poor customer service and after-sales support. They do not carry out proper servicing or maintenance on the cars they sell. They claim to have specialists for different car brands, but that is a complete joke.

After the car is delivered, they are unwilling to assist with any service-related issues. Although they advertise a 3-month warranty, they make irrelevant excuses to reject warranty claims, leaving the customer to bear all the repair costs.

I would not recommend buying a car from them. They don’t even know how the automatic folding mirrors work, which raises serious concerns about their knowledge and expertise.

I purchased a BMW X1 from Dace German Car Centre for £16,470 and within less than six months experienced multiple breakdowns, including a catastrophic fuel system failure resulting in repair costs exceeding £6,500, with further turbocharger concerns identified.

I contacted the dealership immediately when the vehicle broke down, but after lengthy correspondence they declined to contribute towards the repairs. I am extremely disappointed with both the reliability of the vehicle and the handling of my complaint.

From the first phone call enquiring about the car Mike was friendly, helpful and professional over the phone and we arranged to view the car. On going to view the car we were met by Ryan who was friendly, professional and helpful, he answered all my questions and it helped he had the same car himself so knew the car really well! Mark from finance was friendly, helpful and professional, talking through the finance side explaining everything clearly. Everything was made such an easy and smooth transition from viewing the car to buying it and picking it up. Your staff at Dace German car centre are a credit to your company. They did a lovely touch of putting a bow on the car at pick up!! Thank you again to all of you, I would highly recommend this company.

On the 8.5.26 I bought a Mercedes C class Coupe vehicle from Mike.
I wish to extend my gratitude to Mike for providing me with fantastic customer service. He provided me with his in- depth knowledge of the vehicle and also facilitated a great deal on the vehicle. He went above and beyond what I expected from a salesman , and even gave me a lift to my other vehicle. I recently bought a car from Dace though Noel and he was excellent, I was regularly kept in the loop with the car and what was going on, he was polite, didn’t mess around and made sure the car was perfect before me leaving in it. I’m really pleased with my experience and the car.
