Daryl Flood Moving & Storage Avis 

Would never use this company for a move again! We didn't go with the lowest quote for our move. We thought by going with a larger company we would benefit with better service. Only the lady in the main office was helpful. Local consultant missed a lot of important info at walk- through, was super helpful until contract was signed and then impossible to get hold of to answer questions. Was very difficult to get packing supplies delivered - no one replied to calls. The driver said we should have had a second walk-through which we didn't have. When we got the boxes there were less than a quarter of what we needed so we had to purchase our own. Told us we didn't need to empty the clothes drawers of kids cabinets which driver refused to take on the day so we had to unpack in a hurry on day of move and find more boxes to pack up the stuff. Driver refused to initially take lawn tractor that was on inventory - whole experience was very stressful, my kids had to listen to ensuing phone argument between him and main office. He asked for more money and when the main office refused he had to come back next day which delayed us and added to our stress. We have moved long-distance before and never had to deal with these kind of problems - for the money we paid we should have had much better service.

Wish we can give 4.9. Little friction is overload that resulted in electronic and/or fragile items being squished and damaged. However, claim was handled excellent. We would give a 5 stars from loading to delivering and setup ! Great team. Great services!

Always on time and professional! Zero breakage! Best move I have had in my more than 12 previous military and civilian moves!!!!

We have no complaints. All of our belongings showed up without damage. Ryan and his family moved our things with care, and the main office was great at keeping us updated with everything. Also, the move was very affordable.

I would not recommend this company. Daryl Flood wrapped and packed breakables for us and unpacked at the new house. Waterford and fine crystal was broken, five furniture items were damaged and two silk lamp shades were were so bad they had to be thrown away. The Flood agent knew that we were going to be out of the country for a month and said to get the insurance claim in when we could. Our relatively low claim was mailed in time, but the fine print stated it had to be received by, not mailed by. It arrived ONE day late. Our small claim for $500 was DENIED. So, why bother to take out insurance or to trust a company employee?

Everyone we dealt with was very nice. However, the time it took to pack our things was torturous. If I recall correctly, it took 8-10 hours. It was estimated to take much less time than that, but they only sent two men. These two men did a great job. But if I had known that this was going to to happen, I would not have booked the company.

Daryl Floods guys did a nice job moving our furniture and protected everything really well. Not a single scratch and lots of heavy pieces.

Awesome and caring driver and crew on both ends!!!!

Trouble in confirming load and unload dates (driven more by their need and convenience versus us as the customer), pack and move and then unload were a cluster. Several items damages or destroyed, including our 56" HD TV - completely destroyed and not packed properly and then crammed on a truck and trampled. They literally disassembled everything to make a heavier load. Boxes were mislabeled and we are still discovering things missing and mis-packed/mislabeled. Only positive was the price, but in the scheme of things WAS NOT worth it. You get what you pay for...or not! Will not ever use them again. They also sub-contract the pack and the move and lost complete quality control in the process.

I had no issues and nothing got damaged. Driver went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of at every step of the way. Move coordinator made sure I was happy and called frequently to ensure it was always the case. If I move again I will be calling them!

A very good experience with this move. The movers took excellent care of my property and it was picked up and delivered at exactly the times that I needed.

Our movers were all very nice, professional, and good at their job. We have no complaints about our moving process from start to finish.
