BE WARNED:
The Online builder was simply and easy to use however the delivery, logistics and customer service are a farce.

It will be 2 weeks for me between placing the order and receiving my plates, if they arrive. I will have to order a set locally and forgo the cost.

I asked to cancel my order due to the delays and was advised (rudely) that it wasn’t possible.

Poor customer service, communication and delivery. As for the product quality, I’m yet to receive my plates so I couldn’t comment.

I would certainly advise looking elsewhere for number plate printing.

There's no shortage of companies out there who will make up number plates for you, so it was something of a random choice when I went with Demon Plates.

The plate builder on the website is easy to use and I'd designed my number plates in minutes. I was then asked to email scans of my documents since they're not legally allowed to make up the plates without proof of identity, and proof of ownership of the registration.

I stupidly sent images that were tiny by mistake and I was contacted straight away and asked, very politely, if I could supply larger scans, which I did.

A few days later my plates arrived, and I'm very happy with the quality of the product - they look infinitely better than the plates my dealer fitted to my new car when I bought it.

I will definitely use Demon Plates again, and would happily recommend them.

Excellent customer service and arrived very quickly. I ordered the domed carbon style lettering and they look fantastic most certainly the best plates I’ve ever had made.

despite showing the spaced plate i wanted on the order form the decided to send out different ones than the ones ordered. BE CAREFUL

Have to say I didn't encounter any problems as some of the other reviewers had. Ordered gel plates that look amazing, fast delivery and the legal info on the plate (small in the corner)

As a civil servant I must comply with all legislative requirements especially when taking my vehicle on to government property. As the website states they are legal and meet all standards set out in BSAU145d. These standards require all vehicle registration marks to be displayed with the BSAU145d number clearly visible on the bottom right hand side of the plate and must have the plate manufacturer and their postcode located at the bottom centre. If these requirements are not met your personal registration number will be removed by DVLA if corrected plates are not fitted. All DVLA Registered number plate suppliers (RNPS) must confirm the legislative and British standards are met in order to remain on the register.

I was supplied plates that do not meet the BSAU145d standards and their website still continues to allow customers to change their “Slogan” which is not allowed. The centre of the plate is solely reserved for the manufacturers name and postcode. In this instance “demon plates OL7 0PT”.

Due to this they replaced the number plates free of charge and I was charged for delivery. I had to pay as I only had 14 days to change the plates or my reg would be removed by virtue of section 23 of the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994.

Owner Gary Threlkeld doesn’t have the best customer service or communication skills.

Good quality plates I must admit but they are not producing legal plates even if you don’t amend the slogan. It must have the postcode in the centre.

Be aware! The BSAU145d standards are not readily published so you have to rely on RNPS to ensure your plate is legal.

Poor customer service, very quick to take your money.
I wanted to cancel my order 5 minutes after placing it, and they refused.
Claimed as it was a bespoke product, distance selling regulations did not apply. This may be the case, but as I contacted them so quickly, one would expect more flexibility.
Clearly focused on cash and not the customer.

The plate designer is a breeze and I had my plate ordered in no time. The fixings are an added extra which almost caught me out but spotted just in time before finishing the checkout.
I had a bit of a problem with my getting a copy of v5 to them but the staff were very helpful and we got everything sorted. Plate arrived very quickly and looks great.

Ordered several sets of plates from them of the years and they have always been very efficient, pleasant and offered a great product... what can I say?

Took my money no problem, didn't send goods, didn't reply to emails facebook messages or phone calls. £40 down in pocket!
