We are now in month seven of our property sale and onward purchase, and I have never experienced such an unprofessional, unresponsive and unacceptable level of service from a company.

We have endured two entire months with no communication whatsoever, despite repeated attempts by both our solicitor and estate agents and buyers to obtain updates. We have even been told by our sales progressor that the solicitor at Dezrez has indicated she is under too much pressure to respond to everyone. While I appreciate that workloads can be demanding, this is simply not an acceptable excuse for such a prolonged lack of communication, particularly when people’s homes, finances and future plans are at stake.

The complete lack of communication, accountability and meaningful progress is frankly astonishing. We are now facing the very real possibility that both our sale and onward purchase, along with the entire property chain, could collapse as a direct result of these ongoing delays.

Seven months with virtually no progression and two months without a response is simply indefensible. Clients deserve basic professionalism, timely communication and a reasonable level of service, none of which we feel we have received.

We are now seeking legal advice regarding the situation. This has gone far beyond a frustrating delay; it is causing significant stress and putting our entire move at risk.

I would strongly urge anyone considering using this company to think carefully about the potential consequences of entrusting such an important transaction to an organisation that, in our experience, has demonstrated such a serious lack of communication and accountability.

Absolutely shocking service. This firm has failed at every basic level of communication — no replies to letters, calls, or emails, and three weeks of zero action on enquiries that were supposed to be their next step. Their negligence is now delaying an entire chain, with a completion date set for the 25th at risk because Bethan simply isn’t doing her job or responding to anyone involved, including other solicitors and estate agents.

This level of incompetence is unacceptable. I will be speaking directly to the directors and reporting the firm to the governing bodies. Avoid if you value professionalism, communication, or basic competence.

Delayed my house sale for 4 months and its still ongoing...
The buyer went with these conveyancer because they were recommended by the Estate Agents (Chadwells). After 4 months going through the process, we started to ask questions about the delays in the process, to be told the agent that was dealing with the case left the company and another agent took over, and NOTHING was done, so it was 4 months wasted...
The buyer, estate agents and my solicitors can't get through to the agent for days at a time. It's an absolute joke.
Avoid at all cost!
