Faultless service

I've been with Digital Forge for more than 10 years.
Superb customer service, sometimes going well above and beyond!
Uninterrupted service 99.99% of the time for the entire period I've been with them.
Every employee I've interacted with has been knowledgeable and capable.
I'd give 10 stars if they were available!

Bandits, don't use

Buyer beware... Company claims to provide broadband for rural areas. My initial experience was good, after a year I was having speed issues and drop outs. These went on for months to the point that it took me 30 mins to open a PowerPoint presentation for a work call.Checks by another supplier showed my speed was 11with Digitalforge at the point I switched to them. Customer service is shocking and the staff are rude. They failed to respond to a valid request for partial refund of fees for when there was a loss of service quoting that their terns and conditions state they are not liable for loss of service.... read that again and think about that!!! The consumer must pay regardless of if they have service or not. They were unable to provide a full signed contract with this detail in it. When I initially had the problem one of their engineers came out charged me for a cable, 60€ I believe if memory serves me right, claiming this was the problem. He spent maybe 5 mins in the house. It wasn't. So then I still had loss of service but had paid out unnecessarily to solve it. Within 2 weeks their other engineer was sent in to try and resolve it. He was on site a good while and service improved slightly before deteriorating again. I asked for a refund of the cable charge and a partial refund for the months I had dropouts and streaming issues, they refused.I left and my new provider gets me 3 times the speed of Digitalforge without the unsightly dish on the front of house. Regarding the dish on cancellation they took down the dish leaving the wires tied to the bracket they installed initially. Guess what their contract says they can do this. I reached out to Comreg who after approximately 2 months of waiting for a response form Digitalforge agreed that they can do this referring to their contract which I wasn't given. They also told Comreg that they had removed the dish and bracket, they haven't and I have a photo to prove it.I must now arrange a contractor to remove it. How lazy must an engineer be to climb a ladder unistall the dish and not bother to take down the bracket that attached it to the wall. When I requested a copy of my full signed contract in December they said it was in their archives as my contract predated their website. I have never been sent it. A shower of bandits that care only about money profiteering from Ireland's broadband issues and the slow national broadband rollout. There are much better broadband providers in hard to reach rural areas if you look for them. Avoid this company. In response to their reply which demonstrates their rudeness and lack of customer care. I gave them the opportunity to resolve the issue the one thing I refused to allow was the engineer who charged me for the cable to revisit, I may have the value wrong, it may not have been 60 but it was significant. I allowed access but only on my day off being Friday. Comreg did find in their favour as they lie well as their response shows here. I was given a single sheet signatory page of a contract I was never supplied with the full contract on which they won their Comreg case. I can back up all my claims via emails from their staff. A nasty small minded set up that bullies customers who dare to demand a reasonable level of service and never apologise for issues... a broadband speed of 11 is not reasonable by anyone's standard. What I put up with from them during the ongoing unsolved issue is in plain sight below in their response, nothing was their fault, it was mine apparently and they even claim that I had no loss of service even that their staff have photos and screenshots of the drop outs and details of the numerous calls, emails and 2 engineer visits to try to resolve it. They were given months to fix it, they didn't.

Our response in brackets below. Buyer beware... Company claims to provide broadband for rural areas. My initial experience was good, after a year I was having speed issues and drop outs. These went on for months (But customer did not report it – we responded as soon as she logged the fault) to the point that it took me 30 mins to open a PowerPoint presentation for a work call.Checks by another supplier showed my speed was 11.(Because customer refused us access to fix the problem) Customer service is shocking and the staff are rude. (Our customer service is outstanding – when we are given the opportunity) They failed to respond to a valid request for partial refund of fees for when there was a loss of service quoting that their terns and conditions state they are not liable for loss of service.... read that again and think about that!!! (There was no loss of service, furthermore these terms are standard across the industry) The consumer must pay regardless of if they have service or not. (we have stats to show customer used the service the entire time she was a customer) They were unable to provide a full signed contract with this detail in it. (We provided the signed contract page as soon as it was requested and the entire contract pages are on our website for anyone to look it) When I initially had the problem one of their engineers came out charged me for a cable, 60€ I believe if memory serves me right, (Her memory does not serve her right – she was not charged 60 euro) claiming this was the problem. He spent maybe 5 mins in the house. (Her dog chewed the cable and it did not take long for the technician to see that was her problem) It wasn't. So then I still had loss of service but had paid out unnecessarily to solve it. I asked for a refund, they refused.I left and my new provider gets me 3 times the speed of Digitalforge without the unsightly dish on the front of house.(Many months had passed since the initial fault and when she reported another she wouldn’t let us come back to resolve the problem even though we told her it would be free of charge) Regarding the dish on cancellation they took down the dish leaving the wires tied to the bracket they installed initially. Guess what their contract says they can do this. I reached out to Comreg who after approximately 2 months of waiting for a response (We responded to Comreg complaint ref 617669 the very next day after contact) form Digitalforge agreed that they can do this referring to their contract which I wasn't given. They also told Comreg that they had removed the dish and bracket, they haven't and I have a photo to prove it. I must now arrange a contractor to remove it. (we told Comreg that we had removed the antenna and had no obligation to remove the brackets or wires. Comreg sided with us because we were in the right.) How lazy must an engineer be to climb a ladder unistall the dish and not bother to take down the bracket that attached it to the wall. When I requested a copy of my full signed contract in December they said it was in their archives, and my contract predated their website. (As per above our contract is on our website and we had already sent a copy of the signatory page) I have never been sent it. A shower of bandits that care only about money profiteering from Ireland's broadband issues and the slow national broadband rollout. There are much better broadband providers in hard to reach rural areas if you look for them. Avoid this company. (We have operated for 20 years and have many very happy customers.)
