I ordered perfume on 13th December for my daughter for Xmas as she was home from Australia.
However perfume never arrived although had tracking number for delivery with Royal Mail status never changed therefore unable to track it.
Today I emailed customer service with complaint requesting a refund which they responded quickly and also gave a refund with no hassle.

Don't use this company
Don't use this company! They are a marketplace supplier through Superdrug. My item has been sitting with the courier since Monday morning and still is. It was on 24 hour delivery and despite delivery still not being made and the courier not giving a true indication of when it may eventually be delivered Direct Cosmetics still refuse to issue a refund! Disgusting service
Excellent Prices!
Placed two orders altogether so far - both times happy with the purchase, although the second time the courier did not deliver the package and I had to receive a replacement with an already out of stock item. Excellent prices, thank you.

Bought the pure xs body lotion 100ml.everywhere i looked online was charging £15 and above but direct cosmetics was only charging £6 so i bought 3 tubes. I have no complaints at all.

Well… I was a bit dubious ordering from an online company ,well I have to say they were fantastic ,excellent delivery time ,excellent price and items as described …from now on this will be the company I use for beauty supplies ,so glad I found this gem

be warned when shopping with this company. there return policy is unfair and they will reject returns at the drop of a hat. so if you are shopping for family or friends or for yourself make sure you are 100% sure that you have no reason to return your items as they will not accept the returns nor will they refund your money. very poor return policy and grabby feel to the company. i can clearly see i made a mistake judging by the amount of bad reviews they have. so be warned.
Old outdated stock !
Ordered full set of prismologie balms opened all of them...no fragrance whatsoever, they smell musty 😑 going to try the manufacturer as a,last resort otherwise its money £45 down the drain 😑

fantastic service ordered jovan musk aftershave i sent an email to them querying the delivery got an email back the following day confirming,i had read some reviews and and said to my wife who was paying for my aftershave as it was a 50th wedding anniversary present that at that price it wiil be fake arrived this morning(wow)amazon wanted £68.00 this cost £14.99 and it's the real stuff will be using rhis company in future,fantastic company,thank you cosmetics direct xx
Customer service is appalling really went down…
Customer service really went down drastically in this company in the last few years. Before I would forget to apply the discount it could be fixed where now first of all received an email which didn't make sense grammatically in English, and second my request was completely ignored. Very well done on trying to lose your regular customers. Don't bother, shop elsewhere

Appalling. They just don't give a monkeys They make things up as they go along. They lie. They ignore you. I wanted to return £80 of unwanted, unopened goods and 2 MONTHS later they still haven't refunded me. I'm going to take them to small claims court. Stay clear
Look elsewhere - they're useless
Emailed their customer services the day my goods arrived as the quality of the lipstick was so poor as to render them useless. After 12 days I have heard nothing from them. Worst customer service I have ever had from any cosmetic supplier.
Edit. I now have heard from them after I chased. Bottom line - they are not interested and advise to complain to the manufacturer! The supplier is legally responsible for supplying goods 'fit for purpose'. Avoid.
No customer service, no loyalty, dishonest pactices.
We have placed 4 orders in a month. For our most recent one we paid expedited delivery. It arrived a week later. We spoke to a woman on the phone who advised it was due to Royal Mail delays. Sure but the customer has just as little control over Royal Mail as you do and have paid for an expectation of delivery. If you can't meet it for reasons beyond your control, do not charge the higher amount. Then she referred me to the "terms and conditions" - the number 1 killer of good will. A total Karen who doesn't understand terms and conditions wouldn't stand when it comes to us filing a dispute with PayPal as we paid for a service we did not get. But its not worth it. This company has no loyalty or good will. The customer service is passive aggressive (she can't even be bothered to say her name when picking up the phone - devoid of any personable skill) We will instead never recommend them and shop elsewhere. Hope they can use the extra money we paid for delivery towards teaching their CS some basic courtesy.
