Great Price
Very happy with the competitive price secured for their premium level car insurance cover. Quick online purchase, easy account set up and access to documents. Plus if you go via the confused.com price comparison website you get a voucher and a free Greggs coffee for a year, so effectively further discounting the overall price.

Disappointed after 8 years of being a customer
I’m not impressed really and am somewhat disappointed that I have had to cancel my policy after 8 years of renewing with Direct Line and no claims. Unfortunately, the renewal quote that I have received is just too expensive for me so I have had to make the decision to cancel my policy and go with an alternative insurance company. My new policy is £300 cheaper than what was being quoted by Direct Line. 2 stars for previous positive service but I am disappointed that I have had to leave Direct Line but it’s just getting too expensive

Testing the water
The process was simple, I’m not one to Fanny around, I need to cut to the chase. This whole process so far had done that. I’ve fingers crossed that I do not get spam hassle. I just want the insurance copanyto do what I think I paid for and so far they have.

Online application is easy
Online application is easy and self explanatory. The policy cover that I chose was equal to my previous policy from another company and after comparing like for like with many other companies, I chose Direct Line because it was the overall cheapest for my needs.
