OUT OF STOCK DOORS! STAY AWAY
Sold me a fire door which showed as if it was in stock and then they ring me a day later to say it will be in stock in over 45 days! Why sell me something you dont have! CLOWNS its a fire door which has a safety element in it and shouldnt mess customers like this.
Such a bad company. Stay away!

Thank you for your review. We did not sell you a fire door you ordered this online. The item does not say in stock in fact it says totally the opposite in "about this product" it states they are bespoke and to contact the sales line for an estimated lead time. We did not take any monies. Your money was pending via PayPal, our website does not automatically take payment, we do not do this until the item has been checked as in stock. Your order was placed online at 16.10 and you was informed that this door was on a 45 day lead time by 9.30 this morning and your payment was voided through PayPal. It is always advisable to call and check availability before placing an order.

Absolutely the best customer service I have ever had. I ordered doors and handles my mistake needed one door smaller in size was no problem new one ordered slight delay but that’s a manufacturer delay sorted out for return and exchange. Even arranged Sunday morning delivery before 9 am due to my husband going for surgery. Ordered more door handles for upstairs arrived next morning great company ***** definite 5 star review.

Placed an order for fd30 door casings…
Placed an order for fd30 door casings just over a week ago. Last Mondsy had an email to confirm if Friday 17 was a suitable delivery date, I responded that evening confirming acceptance, following day had the same emsil this time with bold black text stating ( unless we receive conformation it will be delayed by 7 to 10 days. I conformed again Friday is OK. Next day had email to confirm delivery address (this was on the order) my email signature has company address, this also had the bold black demand, Thursday Frankie calls the lady who is down as a contact for delivery and is rude to said lady. I call and I'm informed Doors Galore and not my servants. Refund is now received and won't be dealing with them again

Good afternoon,
I must admit this is the first review that has actually had me chuckling, the shear complete and utter lies you have written. I would like to add you are not a customer of ours. My name is Frankie which you have been told on more than 8 occasions yet still call me Frank.
We emailed you on the 13th of May, requesting you confirm your delivery day as we had attempted to call you numerous times yet you had not returned or calls prior to this. On the 14th we still received no response, knowing how customers like a prompt delivery service we explained if we couldn’t book you in the courier could not uplift and deliver your doors, that is not a threat merely a procedure which we should inform customers of or they would wonder why they had not received their deliveries (pretty standard produce). Done professionally.
You replied stating the date was ok only after the second email and MANY phone calls. However, you then gave a third party contact with a contact number and requested we contact her regarding the delivery. Straight after this you had put a completely different delivery address. You were asked in a nice professional manner to confirm which address you would like the delivery to go to. Not a difficult question at all, however you then emailed in a very threating manner, still not confirming the address. Which you had put on the email numerous times. The next day I decided to call the third party to see if I could get any sense from them. Which proved to be the most difficult call in 25 years of being in retail. Where I was being spoke to like absolute garbage, The third party was so rude stating you were a busy man that you didn’t have time to confirm an address nor did she whom worked for you but stated she was an entrepreneur and was far too important to deal with our rubbish. I may state I should not have had to deal with threatening manners of both of you and I could have done without the stress when I am pregnant!
Due to how uncooperative you had both been for no reason – I CANCELLED YOUR ORDER; I TOLD YOU LUCKILY, WE ARE A POPULAR FAMILY RUN BUSINESS WHICH DOES GET TO CHOOSE CUSTOMERS IF WE REALLY ARE FORCED TO DO SO. I EXPLAINED I DID NOT WANT YOUR CUSTOM NOW OR IN THE FUTURE. Which you responded you would go to review sites and leave 1 stars because you were told to respect human beings and that we were not your servants and did not deserve for you to be thrust upon us.
I stand by my decision and you will not scare us by threatening us because we do not wish to deal with you. Anyone reading this will be able to see it takes a lot to refuse payment on goods, however you were so intolerable, where we were forced too.

Door Unfit for Purpose & Will Not Honour Guarantee
Bought an expensive pre-treated external composite oak cladded door. The cladding has bowed and split in less than 2 years and the manufacturer has refused to honour their guarantee.
Do not buy from Doors Galore.

Thank you for taking time to leave a review, although the review you have left is false as i dealt with this personally.
We are not the manufacturer yet you have left us a review when attempting to claim, the manufacturer are xl joinery.
I would like to confirm your door is not a composite door, you purchased a wooden door set.
A door set which was a natural product, although sold as pre-finished as it is an external product and it need maintaining.
You confirmed you had had over 2 years and had not touched the product, when you raised the complaint it was a few months after the major storms and bad flooding the uk had had.
The door had completely blown and had clearly suffered server weather trauma. You were supplied with maintenance details on the door when you received along with information on our website when purchasing.
These types of doors can not be left like a composite door, the price of the door also reflected this as it needs yearly maintenance if shows wear due to adverse weather, natural products like softwood, hardwood and oak can not be left indefinitely with out maintenance and this is a standard practice.

Fantastic customer service
Fantastic customer service. I bought 3 doors with hinges, handles and locks a few years ago. We decided to do all the other doors in the house the same and went back to Doors Galore to order them. Unfortunately our size was no longer available from the factory but Frankie did a fab job in locating stock and we placed the order. When everything arrived we discovered one of the locks was missing a part, a quick call to Frankie and she supplied a whole new lock free of charge!! What's not to like !! Fantastic people and fantastic customer service! Matt

Great family run business .. nothing too much trouble
Great family run business Frankie was very knowledgeable and helpful as we chose our fire rated double glass doors. On delivery the doors were inspected and without any hesitation one was exchanged. The new door however did not match but nothing was too much trouble and one of the original ones was exchanged. Needless to say the doors now hung look stunning and a big thank you to Frankie and the team

Ordered 7 doors for a house renovation…
Ordered 7 doors for a house renovation and loft conversion. I found the staff really knowledgeable and helpful. They assisted me in finding the right product to suite the 1930s style of our house. Delivery was on time. The doors look amazing and am so happy with the finished product.
