I thought it would be boring right from the get go, but in all honesty, it was very interesting and informative. The bit about stopping distances between 30MPH & 31MPH really surprised me. And although I have fibromyalgia & the last 30 minutes or so the fatigue was starting to kick in from being sat for too long, I managed to stay focused all the way through to the end. (Even if I was the only person fidgeting like I had ants in My pants)

Glad I completed the course, was a good refresher, reminder of the risks involved to self and others of unsafe driving.

The Speed Awareness course did just that, making me think that just a slight increase in speed can cause a major increase in injuries in a collision. Also to pay more attention to potential hazards, and road traffic signs especially 20 and 30 mph. The trainers were excellent, there was a good atmosphere in the classroom with people asking and answering questions, and generally participating. I would recommend attending the course rather than online.

Excellent location, trainers approached the subject with a sensible and mature approach. Patience and willing to engage.

Get yourself on this speed awareness course. I had to do it but recommend it for every driver. It's only 96 pounds and it will make you a better driver and maybe even save your life or someone elses.

The course was well structured and exceptionally well delivered and the course leader / tutor (Michael) could not have been more helpful throughout the course, making sure sure everyone was very much aware of the content and purpose of the course and he also encouraged everyone to participate throughout. I did the speed awareness course, Gianluigi V. was the instructor - he was excellent, friendly, professional, enthusiastic. I really learned a few things and it left me with a strong intention, and plan, not to speed in the future, for many good reasons, not lease because it typically doesnt actually get you there materially faster, thanks!

been motoring for 62 years and thought I was a safe driver who kept to the speed limits, obviously not and got caught out, trainers were excellent and friendly and the course well structured. would recommend everyone take it as I learn a lot

I found the speed awareness course excellent in content and delivery. The trainer (Keith) was professional and informative. It refreshed my own knowledge and I felt he created a safe and supportive learning environment for all. The course was delivered with a bit of humour and a human touch also which helped a lot!

Couldn't fault it. I thought 3 hours would be far too long but it wasn't. I learned a lot and I changed my negative view of speed cameras as just a cynical way for authorities to make money.
The two guys,Manny and Lawrence were a perfect double act. Playing good cop and bad cop. Manny was the stern one but he managed a few light hearted moments.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this course but not just for offenders like me but for anyone who currently holds a driving licence. Also why not put it on the school curriculum?

Been driving for 44 years and consider myself to be a pretty good driver. I try and keep to the speed limit. Obvs didn’t and got caught on camera. Chose to complete an online speed awareness course to avoid points on my licence.
So glad I did - I would recommend this course to all drivers and think it should be mandatory for all learner drivers.

Service delivery was very good

Way too intense for doing 3 mph over the speed limit,
I have had a clean license for years and know how to drive, they made me feel like a criminal who couldn't drive

The Driverech Speed awareness course is a real eye opener. I've been driving for 40 years and consider myself to be a 'good' driver.

However, these courses consolidate your knowledge and bring new snippets.

I would hope that I improve my driving ability and keep reminding myself of the details I've learned on this course.

The course content was helpful and has definitely improved my driving. I understand the need for some policing, given that not everyone engages fully, but the facilitators’ approach went far beyond what felt reasonable.

For a course that’s meant to be an optional alternative to points and a fine, the tone was surprisingly strict. Their demands—being constantly visible on camera, no blurred backgrounds, and accusations about “others in the room”—felt intrusive and unnecessary.

I was wrongly accused of having someone present and threatened with removal, which was both unfair and heavy‑handed. Adults should be treated like adults. The learning was good; the delivery was not.

Didn’t know what to expect as course was alternative to “points” on my licence.
The “rules” of attendance seemed to imply something a bit Draconian!
So, I got to the venue which was a Yacht Club and it was very pleasant air conditioned overlooking the harbour.
Right from the start the trainer, an ex policeman, put us all at ease and had a very friendly approach to the subject matter and a very good way of getting us all fully engaged, so far from being a “must” attend I felt that I would choose to be there even if I hardened committed a speeding offence.
The subject matter was relevant, concise and extremely well presented and I definitely learned a lot about road safety.
Overall I think the course was well worthwhile and I would definitely consider other courses run by Drivetech

The gentlemen that took the course, were friendly and professional. The course was easy to understand and follow. Although we got a pen from the venue. In the long run it was an expensive pen.

Was an excellent course lasting 3 hours. Mark and Mike the trainers were excellent. Left the building having learned alot.22
