Top quality products
Top quality products. We loved the Wiltshire sliced ham and the Stilton was exceptional. The steak and ale pies are great to have in the freezer on standby.

Broken seals
I’ve had superb steaks before, so tried the meal deal this time. The salmon pate container was broken and leaking out, and the seal on the bearnaise sauce was broken so I can’t be sure those two items are safe to eat. Disappointing in view of the prices, I don’t think we’ll buy from them again.

We are very sorry to hear about the condition in which the salmon pâté and béarnaise sauce arrived, particularly after you have previously enjoyed our steaks and decided to try one of our meal deals.
We completely understand your concern about using products where the container or seal has been damaged. You quite rightly expect everything in your order to arrive properly sealed and in good condition, especially given the quality and price you expect when ordering from DukesHill.
Having looked into this, I can see that a refund has been processed for the affected items, and we hope this has now reached you. While we are pleased that the financial side has been addressed, we appreciate that this does not undo the disappointment of receiving products you were unable to enjoy.
We will also make sure your feedback regarding the damaged packaging and seals is passed on to the relevant team. It is important that we understand when products have not arrived as they should so that we can review what may have happened during packing or transit.
We are particularly sorry to hear that this experience has made you reconsider ordering from us again. Having previously enjoyed our products, we hope you will give us another opportunity in the future to provide you with the quality and experience you have come to expect from DukesHill.
Please accept our sincere apologies again for the disappointment and inconvenience caused.
Kind regards,
The DukesHill Team
The web site is easy to navigate
The web site is easy to navigate, foodie friendly and exciting to see such a wonderful range of quality items at affordable prices. It’s easy to order, delivery is reliable and each order is awarded points. My last order came free delivery with a lower qualifying order spend so I got 2 of my favourites and free delivery - well within what I can afford. I find the quality extremely good value for money and the taste experience makes the spend worthwhile.

Phantom 'reach out'
I had already submitted a review, but for some reason was asked to submit another. Anyway, I was happy enough with my order apart from one item, of ham, which had an expiry date that was on the day of delivery, so I had to chuck it away. Dukeshill replied to that original review, apologising and saying a member of their team 'had already reached out to me', whatever that means. But it certainly didn't mean that they had contacted me about it, because no-one ever did.

We are very sorry, both for the issue with the ham in your original order and for the confusion caused by our previous response to your review.
Firstly, receiving a product with a use-by date that falls on the day of delivery is understandably disappointing, particularly when it meant you were unable to make use of the ham as intended. We are sorry that this happened.
We also owe you an apology for stating in our previous response that a member of our team had “reached out” to you when, as you have explained, you had not actually received any contact from us. We completely understand why this would have been frustrating and why you have questioned it. If we say that somebody has contacted you, you should quite reasonably expect that contact to have taken place.
We would like the opportunity to properly address the original issue with the ham and put this right for you. Please email us at help@dukeshillham.co.uk with your order details and mention your Trustpilot review, and we will make sure this is looked into.
We are pleased to hear that you were otherwise happy with your order, but we appreciate that both the short-dated product and the subsequent lack of contact have taken away from what should have been a positive experience.
Please accept our sincere apologies for both the original issue and the way the follow-up was handled.
Kind regards,
The DukesHill Team
Highly recommended
This is a quality food supplier I have never had a bad product from them. My favourites are the steak and ale pies they are so tasty and jammed with lean steak. The back bacon is so tasty and no water comes out of it, also cut generously unlike supermarket bacon!

We’re also pleased that our Back Bacon has impressed you, particularly the generous cut and the fact that it cooks without releasing lots of water.

Excellent hams
We love good ham and Dukeshill is one of our favorites. We wanted to compare the three types (Wiltshire, York and Shropshire so bought a sliced selection. We enjoyed all of them but have found our favourite. All the packs were well presented and packed and, once opened, lost that plastic package flavour which affects some hams.
The site was good and we enjoyed all that we brought.

I have no issues with the quality of service or quality of the products everything is top quality and it’s so nice not to have your bacon oosing salt water from the curing process, their dry cured bacon is the best and the middle cut with the rind on is beautiful crispy, and their meat joints are lean and cook tender, can’t find any fault with Dukes hill.

The Beef and Ale pies were the best we’ve ever had! So good in fact I am expecting a second delivery next week. Good pies are an economical way of feeding us pensioners! There’s no waste as with a tiny joint and they are very flavoursome! We’re trying cheese and onion in next delivery along with zesty protein
ones! The service offered by Dukes Hill is also excellent and friendly! And the ice cold
packaging keeps everything fresh. They also use a good delivery service which compliments the meat they’re selling.

The meat is always so tender and tasty in the Beef cheek in jus meal we always include it in our selection.
The Cumberland sausage curl is scrumptious fried with tomatoes from the Greenhouse.
We wondered why the sausage does not have a little rubbed sage to give it that authentic Cumberland sausage flavour?
We are working through the product ranges however the two mentioned are firm favourites.
