A very straight forward process ordering a rug online and delivery was very quick. Absolutely love the rug and looks very stylish in my hallway. Gets lots of compliments.

Products good but the regular pestering emails (even after unsubscribing) for feedback and adverts are too annoying.

It took twenty mins to get a coffee one decaff one latte even though there was only one person in front of me who had already been served.Coffee cold and like warm milk and they had to think about which one was Decaff .not much better at the checkout till no please or thank you even when prompted.

I have ordered many times in the past without any problems. However now everything is automated and AI Dunelm Customer Service is appalling. I have been trying to contact through their chat line but every automated response is that they don’t understand or that they don’t understand the message or order no.
Totally frustrating and unacceptable after sales service - Totally avoid if you ever need to make contact as no human appears to be available!!

Wanted bed set in particular cplour. Dunhelm was only place that had complete set. Not my prefered fabric but needed something as had bed which couldnt use. Fantastic price and washes up well and perfect colour.

Newly refurbished store is great improvement, open plan and bright.
Toilets leave a lot to be desired, such as loo paper and a dryer that works! Only one toilet working!
Maybe they are next on the refurbishment list?

We ordered some long curtains from Dunelm and received an email saying they'd be available to collect in store by Wed midday. We visited on Fri AM to collect, to be told that they weren't in and they didn't know when they would be. They said that it was likely that if the order didn't come in that day that they would cancel it. Useless for us!

Conflicting return instructions and no proper response after five days

I ordered two made-to-measure roller blinds. The dispatch email said unwanted items could be returned or exchanged and provided a barcode for an in-store return. That section did not mention an exclusion for made-to-measure items.

When I visited a store, the return was refused because the blinds were made to measure. I emailed customer services on 11 October with the dispatch email and supporting evidence, asking them to review the conflicting information and authorise a return and refund.

The automated acknowledgement said they usually respond within 48 hours. As of 16 October, five days later, I have received no substantive response and have now sent a follow-up.

The conflicting instructions and lack of a proper response have been frustrating. I would appreciate a clear explanation and a fair resolution, and will update this review when Dunelm responds.
