Excellent service from Adam

Excellent service from Adam. Did a fantastic job restoring the oak top of my John Lewis table and sideboard which were badly marked - they are now like brand new. An all round professional - turned up on time, polite, took his shoes off without being asked and wore a mask throughout. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Top service from technician Adam.

Communicated well and arrived on time. Adam carried out an inspection on a IKEA mattress and was very professional and polite throughout whilst also doing his job throughly. Can't fault the service.

Very unprofessional

Very unprofessional, left in a rush with the boot lid left open. I phoned him to point that out in case all his foam peices fell out on the road. The inspection consisted of a photograph being sent to IKEA which didn't show how thin and soft the cushions are when you sit on them . A 10 year guarantee is a joke, even a 2 year guarantee would be too. It also doesn't help if the customers have mobility problems and live in an area that Lee doesn't want to visit.

Excellent service from Adam .

Adam was very helpful, polite and efficient .
(The only reason I gave 4 not 5 stars is because I was given a time slot of 12 noon to 7 pm , which is a long time ,and had to enquire to narrow it down during the afternoon )

I drawer in my Tempur Divan bed broke

A drawer in my Tempur Divan bed broke. Out of warranty I was told by Peter Jones to call Ecomaster, which I did. I initially paid £49 for the call and I was given a date for the engineer's visit. all very professionally done. The engineer came. I bought a set of runners so to make repair quicker and cheaper. He worked on the drawer one hour and called me saying "sorry, I cannot fix it. You owe us £50", which I paid. In the end, I paid £100 for nothing. we will try sourcing a new drawer from Tempur, I was told. Days pass by. i receive a final invoice with the a phrase that said "drawer cannot be sourced nor fixed because client damaged it beyond repair". ok.

the drawer was damaged by my darling Ukrainian cleaner. she heard that a professional said it couldn't be fixed and called her husband, he is not a carpenter. he came the day after with a set of tools...and fixed it. for free.

i understand we all make mistakes, I do. because of this I wrote to ecomaster and asked for some sort of compensation before I wrote any reviews. never got an answer, hence the review.

this is 2021. firms live and feed off the web. a customer is hard to get and even harder to keep, due to the enormous amount of offers available. ecomaster might be very much respected, I grant that, but sometimes one customer care error could cause a flow of bad reviews and bad reviews could cost revenue, as we should all be aware. i believe I was wronged by ecomaster and it could have been easily set right by a simple act of courtesy. SAD.

Chair repair

Fault with a chair bought from John Lewis. Adam the technician rang to say what time he would arrive. Was wearing ppe got on with the job and did an excellent repair. No fuss!

First class service

Adam arrived promptly having phoned to let me know he was on his way and his estimated arrival time. He was wearing PPE and removed his shoes as soon as he entered the house. Adam was polite and very friendly. Within less than an hour he had fixed our creaky new sofa and put everything back together perfectly.

Lee came to look at my torn leather…

Lee came to look at my torn leather suite. He was very polite and professional. Lee obviously takes pride in his work and rightly so! He did a fantastic repair and the tear is gone. You are a miracle worker

Michael was helpful

Michael was helpful. Checks were completed quickly. He gave notice of his arrival and was very polite, wore a mask and socially distanced.

Lazy inspection has lost us £550

We received a faulty mattress from IKEA which has a very obvious dip in the middle. They sent an Ecomaster technician to inspect it which they say is standard procedure for their “premium” mattresses. The technician didn’t sit or lie on the mattress, despite the fact that they warned a “lay test” would be conducted. He pressed down with his hands around the edges only, and then later reported that the mattress was in good condition. At the time of the inspection, he gave us the impression that he could see our issues, so we were surprised to hear his report from IKEA a few days later. IKEA now don’t want to replace it so we’re £550 down. This could have been avoided if the technician properly inspected it.

Technician Adam arrived as arranged

Technician Adam arrived as arranged, great communication, thoroughly assessed & diagnosed the two issues methodically with my piece of furniture, repaired the error made in manufacture perfectly. Issue completely repaired. Courteous, respectful and adhered to covid safety. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent service!

The technician, Adam, arrived when expected, was extremely courteous and fixed the problem.
He appeared knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem very quickly.
I would recommend this organisation based on the excellent service I received from Adam.
