Eden Mobility - Scarborough Avis 

We visited the shop to buy my Dad who is 90 a Rollator as he is becoming unsteady on his feet, Camilla was so brilliant with her kind and caring service, she knew about each product and was so helpful with her knowledge, I cannot state enough how impressed we were with Camilla

Rachel in the Scarborough branch is an absolute star. Knowledgeable about potential products to assist and nothing was too much trouble. It was so nice to walk in feeling vulnerable and to come out with a smile.

Camilla's customer service is excellent and her product knowledge is exceptional. My father went looking for a bed, and was allowed to lay on the store sample bed and try it to make sure it was suitable for his needs. It is being delivered on Monday.

I went into Eden with my father as he needed a mobilty scooter as he had his leg amputated the sales assistant Camilla was so so helpful was very knowledgable on every aspect of the scooter she made the whole experiance easy from start to finish

Absolutely disgraceful company.

I phoned about a stairlift for my dad. The salesman was pleasant and was quick to take our money in October 2024, when we bought the stairlift with all the extras to make it easier for my dad. We were told that when we no longer needed the stairlift Eden would buy it back off us at a high price.

My dad used the stairlift for about 2 weeks (if that), he was then in hospital for a month and home but bed bound upstairs for 2 weeks before he passed.

I messaged Eden about purchasing the stairlift back on messenger in the January 2025, I got no reply.

I phoned Eden, I was told someone would ring me back about purchasing it back, no-one rang back.

My brother went into the Scarborough shop and the lady in there was very helpful and she sorted out someone to give him a price. He was offered £500 which is a total disgrace/rip off with us paying £3700 3 months earlier and had only been used for 2 weeks if that.

I wrote a letter to the complaints department at head office and STILL not received a letter back.

I think the company is a disgrace and feel like they are taking advantage of the old and vulnerable.

I would NEVER use this company again as it has been a total rip off, their customer service, communication and follow-up is NON- EXISTENT.

Reading the reviews it states that 'Eden Mobility pride themselves on their customer service', which is a laugh as there is non.

They even dragged their feet paying the £500 to us after they had bought the stairlift back off us. They were very quick to remove the stairlift and were quick to take the payment in the first place but it took weeks to get the money off them.

I would definitely NOT recommend this company to anyone.

I have purchased a Riser chair from Eden Scarborough after looking in several other shops in town. I felt Camilla gave the best advice & asked lots of questions about my husbands health, weight,height etc then demonstrated chairs which would be best for him,she was friendly & helpful with absolutely no pressure.
We have now had the chair a week,my husband is extremely happy with it and thanks also to the two delivery men who were very helpful in showing how it works including heat etc. Thank you.

Went in to my local shop today and was served by a lovely assistant who was full of information about the product I was interested in

My husband purchased a stair lift at the beginning of October 2024, but we have had intermittent problems with it and in the end Camilla wrote a letter about the problems and a technician came around again and found a ribbon wire was getting trapped which solved the problem, so want to thank Camilla for writing for us and getting it sorted.

Camilla at the Scarborough Branch was very helpful and spent a considerable amount of time helping me make the right choice

I'm from Southport and had a stroke two years ago now and need a mobility scooter to get around. I got recommended to Eden mobility by my friend. I need one to get around Scarborough and Cayton Bay holiday park so I rang the Scarborough branch and I'd just like to say the whole experience from buying a scooter to having it delivered in site was excellent with superb customer service. Wow what a great welcoming from Camilla at the Eden mobility shop in Scarborough she was so knowledgeable at set me at ease in buying a mobility scooter that was right for me. I don't think I would have bought one if it wasn't for Camilla now I go everywhere on my scooter she has gave me my life back. Thank you Camilla you was a God send I will come and say hello the next time I am in Scarborough.

Im on holiday & my shower has no grab handle. Eden mobility Scarborough were great, advising on the best temporary suction grab handles that we could use. They also provided advice on folding power chairs v non folding. Camilla was particularly knowledgeable and very helpful. The store is laid out really well, fully accessible and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to everyone else. Thankyou Camilla & thankyou Eden Mobility Scarborough!

I needed to get my Mothers scooter serviced (not bought from Eden) and asked at the Scarborough branch if they could help YES was the reply and it was serviced the following week, everybody involved could not have more pleasant
