I HATE EDMENTUM, The fact that on mastery tests you have to get %80 to pass is stupid and they keep switching the questions so that’s pretty dumb. The grading system is horrible as well you can have a %90 A course grade and with one %52 Grade on a test your grade will plummet to a D. Over all I think that schools need to stop using this and look for a new way to help students make up classes.

its the worst the grading is stupid its a wast of time, there is a literal site full as answers the actual tests and tutorials mean and do NOTHING they don't teach you nor help you at all

If I could give it 0 stars or negative I would. Edmentum is probably the WORST way of learning I and others have ever experienced. You do not learn anything from this program and are basically wasting your time and money by purchasing this absolute piece of garbage.

Edmentum is quite possibly the worst learning program that i have ever had the displeasure of using. during school i had failed a math class, it was my fault i failed. and my guidance counselor had suggested that i use Edmentum to retake the class saying ''you could just do it all in 2 hours and be done with it forever'' with that in mind i had waited for a while to start it. and when i did i noticed just how poorly optimized and foolishly it had been put together. i have been doing it for about 2-3 months now and i am working on it during summer vacation now. with no end in sight, as it doesn't even tell how many lessons are left. and it just randomly crashes all the time. at one point even saying that i needed to rotate my screen while i was on a desktop pc...
This site is full of questions that really make no sense. while working on math, my dad who is a computer analyst at a company who deals with numbers every day says that lots of the answers are just wrong and are ''moronic''. this site is also littered with grammatical errors and feels like it was all thrown together in 5 minutes by a teenager who made this as a sick joke. To make things worse the material that I'm supposes to making up for the class i failed to prove that I could actually understand the class, none of it actually pertains to what i learned that year. when doing the lessons before the progress check i have noticed that what you learn in the lesson also has no correlation to the progress check, so what's the point of the lesson?

I had Biology and it was a nightmare. Frist, it wasted my time by requiring me to take pre-tests before it allowed to to take the tutorials. Each pre-test had about forty five questions that took about two hours. If I flunk the pre-test then I wasted my time and learned nothing. If I aced the pre-test then I didn't learn anything new. Second, the tests and quizzes at the end of the tutorials had questions that had nothing to do with what the tutorials taught. Third, to move on to next tutorial, I must had 80% correct on the quiz, and this at-least 80% requirement had no legal basis to keep me behind because legally speaking, a pass is 60% or more (not 80%). Edmentum Biology main objective was out to fail students. I would never again take Edmentum courses.

it’s literally making me want to pull my hair out. the tutorials are insanely long, and then the tests after you complete them often have nothing to do with the tutorials. instructions are hard to follow and the questions are never explained. i already struggle with math, i don’t need a website making me feel dumber than i already do.

Edmentum has to be one of the most convoluted and confusing educational tools of all time. As a student who is forced to use this on the daily, I can attest that edmentum, specifically exact path, is very poorly constructed. There is often spelling and grammatical errors within the lessons as well as lessons that do not make sense. My mom, who got her major in English, was unable to make sense of the reading lessons. Educators, if you are considering using this tool, I strongly advise you not to.

Ive used edmentum for summer school for the past two years and I can easily say I was not impressed. The entire premise of a good half of the lessons I took were rooted in you already knowing the material in at least some capacity, which I’ve found to be both super annoying and frustrating considering Im supposed to be making up what I don’t know, not building on what I do. Also considering this is also used in some capacity for at home education, this is a serious design flaw. Additionally,I’ve found that the program does absolutely no actual explanation beyond real world applications, in geometry for example knowing real world applications does nothing if you don’t know the equations in which you are supposed to apply, which I haven’t seen any of. It doesn’t explain how to do any of it, only gives you a few problems to solve with no prior knowledge of how and you’re just supposed to figure it out along the way? With minimal to no instruction? That’s not how education works, and it’s not how lessons should operate. I should be taught how to do it, in whole, then asked to apply it, not one or the other. I’ve also noticed that the one lesson we are given before a mastery test is not accurate to the questions asked on the test, and what I mean is the difficulty and complexity of the questions are higher on the mastery test then what we are actually taught, so even if I do understand the useless lesson the test pulls random stuff out of nowhere. So anyway the only reason this isn’t getting 1 star is because, I did make up my credits quickly, no help to the course itself, but rather google.

OMG I HATE EDMENTUM. it actually made me lose brain cells.... um.. and it makes you learn stuff you already know and it is soo boring and it is no fun at all i actually want to leave school cause of this... like why the f***k should i have to do this... This course was a joke. My kid was constantly in trouble for not bringing grades up and when she got progress reports they were different from edmentum report as well as the school report. Is she on track, of track or am I just loosing my mind. All year struggle with No credits to show for it!😠 This is the second time at trying this program with same results. If the schools and kids need parent involvement then they should work with us not give us the run around. I have tried to get this straightened out during the year but everyone gave a different reason but none were the same and nothing changed. I want full transparency and to be able to see each assignment and what my child did or didn't do. Where it went wrong or right. Paper assignments were handed out. There was a reason kids with paper assignments do better and have better problem solving skills. the work had Instructions, the assignment and then marked up with the scores. You could see clearly what it said to do and you could see if your kid did it or not you could see which ones were right and which ones were wrong so you can learn from the mistake. I don't feel like they're teaching that I feel like everything on the computer wants it's turned in it's not thought about it again. It's horrible way to teach.
Can we redo 9th grade? Should we? At this rate she will be 30 before she will get out of highschool. 🤦🏼‍♀️😭

It doesn't help me at all. With ANY of my work and mostly have to cheat in order to pass my classes. The progress checks don't explain the assignment clearly. When its clear I'm not on the level of education yet it make me do it over, and over again. Even when there is practices involved the mastery test is completely different than it. Most of the time the program doesn't even work. I know that the only ones to be reading this will either be the students of edmentum. And I understand this is just a program to help mostly teachers so that they could just have students to get on the computers instead of actual book work. But i believe that if you cant actually help students on this program than either shut it down or help fix it. here are a list of suggestions.

1. Whenever a student fails a mastery test give them a similar and easier lesson because its clear that they are not ready for that kind of lesson.

2. Make the mastery tests a little more like the practices in order for a more understanding of what it will take in order to pass that lesson.

3. Make the tutorials a little more interactive. I understand this one will get a lot of hate but in oreder to understnad the lesson a little easier they will have to interact with the lesson a little more.

4. I know this is going to sound dumb but if you know kids than this will make this will make sense.
Since we have to be on this a lot maybe make reward like if you get 100 on 3 mastery tests without having it unlocked then you get 5 hints on any master test.

5. make it lockscreen because kids usually use brainly or quizlet or google teanslate in order to pass. But maybe if its locked on like the golden horseshoe quiz then maybe it will influence kids to socialize with other kids into problem solving in order to find the answer.

6. I feel like if these were made for edmentum's new update it will make it a little better experiance for the learners.

NO I THOUGHT WE NEEDED TO LEARN THEY NEED TO HELP US THIS IS USELESS AND WHEN I DO A PROGRESS ChECK AND FAIL THEN I HAVE TO DO IT AGAIN LIKE WHY CANT I GET HELP OR MOVE ON ALL I JUST DO IT FOR THE TROPHIES BUT THAT IS IT IT DOESNT EVEN HELP ME OR ANY OF MY CLASS MATES IT IS SO BAD IT IS USeless s o bad

if I could give this a negative rating I would, but since I cant I must say that this is the worst learning tool anyone has ever developed even teachers say so. we are forced to use this during school instead of working on our actual graded subjects taught by actual teachers. and all this does is show the people funding our schools that we are becoming spedd in reality we just have time taken away from us that we could be using to actually learn. I hope whoever is in charge of this takes some initiative to get rid of it or go to hell for not doing so thank you.

actually i rate this app 10000000000000000000000000000 stars its so good it helps children a lo like me i know that a lot of people hate it but its actually good and its really nice edmentum has too keep up the good work its so cool and really good website

The first day I used this, I immediately thought, "Who the hell thought that this was an idea that could be considered anything close to decent at all?" Anyone who doesn't see an issue with this has probably never seen the actual site for themselves, and just take the word of the people who created this extremely poor excuse of a learning program.

Schools really need to actually investigate a site before using them. Just because some dumb and idiotic people (aka the creators of Edmentum) say that some random site is good for students doesn't actually mean it's good at all. Our teacher gave us an assignment, and it didn't even save any progress we had. Nobody could finish it in time. If you couldn't finish, you just started from the beginning.

Nobody likes this program. Nobody wants to have to do this. Everybody just clicks through the tutorials as fast as possible. Everybody hates this site so much. Almost every single review is a 1 star review, and the 5 star reviews are complete jokes. And our district still thinks Edmentum is good for students.

First of all, whenever you get anything wrong, it either just tells you the answer with no explanation, or just says you're wrong, also with no explanation. It doesn't even tell you which part you got wrong. If you get a question wrong on a progress check, it just says you got something wrong and it doesn't tell you what you got wrong. I need to know what I got wrong in order to focus on the things I need to know in order to get past the progress check.

If you struggle to complete a course you have, instead of the app trying to help you by focusing on the skills you don't have, you're forced to restart the same course, over and over again for eternity. The progress checks always ask questions that have absolutely nothing to do with what you've learned in the tutorial of the topic.

The courses are always either WAY too difficult, or WAY too easy. In the Language Arts section, the program literally makes me learn about stuff like literal CAPITALIZATION, COMMAS, and SPELLING. I AM NOT A KINDERGARTENER. I KNOW MUCH MORE THAN HOW TO SPELL THE WORD CAT. ............... In the Reading section, the progress checks make me read passages that take the entire Edmentum session we get to read. Bro, you can't just expect me to read the entire bible just for one singular question.

This "learning" program is so bad that it's completely unthinkable. It's so horrible that I NEED an option to give negative stars just because of the fact that this is a real thing that exists. This program is so painful to use that it would be WAY more fitting to be a replacement for prison sentences than an actual curriculum. This program is so enraging that I would rather drop out of school before reaching middle school than have to use this program for anything after the rest of the school year. I am forced to endure this complete garbage in school, every day, and I have never learned a new thing. In fact, I feel like I'm losing braincells because of it.

The text-to-speech voices used in the app also have a problem. Sometimes, you're literally forced to listen to the text-to-speech voices before you can answer a question, which is very, VERY annoying. The voices themselves are so emotionless and robotic that I'm so sure that there's no way that any human could've made the voices.

There are always stuff about Stig and Chip. No matter where you go in the site, theres always Stig or Chip there. I'm so tired of "learning" about Stig and Chip's extremely unrealistic and boring life. I'm so tired of reading passages that are as long as the bible 5 times just for one random progress check. I'm tired of being forced to use the most boring "learning" program ever. Can you even call this anything close to a "learning" program at all?

If your school starts forcing you to use this extremely low-effort program that was made by people who have no idea how students are supposed to learn, just transfer straight to a new school immediately. You don't want to use this program, you don't want to have this program, you don't want to interact with this program, and you don't want to know that this program is a thing that exists. Humans are supposed to be considered intelligent lifeforms, but the fact that something like this was made by humans makes me question if that is anything close to true.

TL;DR: Edmentum is so bad that it makes me question humanity as a whole.
