The worst customer service I have ever…

The worst customer service I have ever come across. Contacted them to terminate my service on line but was told we can't do that on webchat you need to phone in. Oh boy good luck with getting anyone to answer the phone. 2 hours of holding and still no answer. So I wrote to them but still no response. Sky here I come. I should never have left Sky in the first place. Been the worst year of my life with terrible internet service.

STAY AWAY!!!

Gang of ffucking sshite bags, what a sshit hole of a company. They text you 20 times a day saying “top up” even though you are topped up. Customer Care exit chat boxes mid conversation, all phone numbers direct you to online. Can’t wait till the company goes bust!

Bad and very very bad services !!

Bad and very very bad services !!! Never gonne choice again !!! They charge a lots of money for nothing , they put in a lots of services charge , and in the end of the contract you gonne pay double time than what you should pay !
I'm not gonne do again this mistake , to choice them !!!!!!!

Eir is a disgrace!

Eir has and continues to avoid providing me with a phone line despite that it is a government requirement that they do so. Their own technician on a visit to my house made it very clear it was all viable and that it just needed a different Eir department to prep a pit for him to then work from.

Post his call out Eir closed my account, didn’t call me, wouldn’t return my calls or emails.. They just sent a generic text saying it’s not possible due to “technical issues”. It’s very clear there is no technical issue as advised by their own technician. The issue it’s they are refusing to do it as it’s too much hassle / costly despite that they are obliged to provide the phone line.

They’ve been fined millions of Euro by their regulator and continue to flout their responsibilities.

Eir are a cancerous company with no back bone, integrity or shame. Profits and convenience over all else.

Keep in mind when reading these reviews giving zero stars isn’t an option with Trust Pilot.

I have had problem after problem with…

I have had problem after problem with eir. I cancelled my policy as I was told my contract date had finished no problem I got that cancelled. I have moved abroad to Australia and I got a text your bill is running unusually high to discover my bill was 200 euro. I swapped to prepay as I wanted to keep my old number before I left home. I have spent the last two hours on webchat half of it was pointless questions and its 1 am here. The man was nice he said its sorted but I dont know they said the same last week. I have had some massive bills so disappointing I am hopefully finished with Eir for good.

ORDERED 3 PHONES AND GOT TWO

we ordered three phones as part of a deal. waited two whole days as when we asked to collect in store they said you can’t. when the parcel arrived after being delivered by nightline, it only had two phones. we spent a whole morning trying to contact them and see what happened. we were told that we could go to our local store and get the missing one and then when it actually arrived we could reject it at the door. i travelled to my local eir shop and when i got there to collect it they said they can’t do it, and to be honest, the women that was dealing with me was very rude and abrupt - “i’ve been working here 14 years and i know for a fact, that we can’t do that” is what she told me. my daughter is upset. now we rang nightline and they said that eir only told them that there was two phones. this is ridiculous. my day is gone. i’ve purchased the phones and haven’t received my full package. guys don’t bother even ringing them for a deal. the service is appalling!!

I am ashamed to admit I have paid for…

I am ashamed to admit I have paid for Eir for years. Completely unreliable and totally incompetent would be a kind description. Email service is unreliable, my hopeful reliance on the Eir Sport app is a madness I weekly regret.
Very poor indeed. I have given up making a complaint because I feel embarrassed trying to discuss issues which the “agent” is quite clearly unable to deal with.
Like all the correspondents on this site I pay large bills for a desperately poor service.
Doesn’t it say a lot for contemporary business interests that they can get away with such unaccountable thieving and deception.
Change your service provider and stop complaining might be a reply to my complaint.
Like many correspondents I lead a busy working life. Simple things like paying for a reliable service should be a straightforward transaction. I shouldn’t be bothered by this.
At the very least it is insightful to read the litany of complaints on this site.
It would be so rewarding and fulfilling to present a coordinated case of complaints against the non-service doled up by Eir.

Worst company in Ireland

Worst company in Ireland. Was with them for phone, tv and broadband for 3 years. I left them 2 months ago, gave them adequate notice, was not in a fixed term contract. They didn't close my account off. I am still receiving monthly bills from them for a service i no longer have. They never even provided a return address for their equipment, and are now trying to charge me for non return of equipment also! Avoid them like the bubonic plague!! Worst company I ever dealt with. Brutal, shocking and non-existent customer service. Unless you enjoy being on hold for multiple hours. You have been warned.

Worst Internet service in Ireland

Internet keeps disconnecting and I have called them about 5 times this month and they have sent 2 engineers and still not fixed. If you are considering joining this provider please for your own sake do not it will only end in you having a massive headache and spending to much money on internet that doesnt work. And furthermore they will try get as much money out of you as they can they installed a new router because the old one was broken and they charged us the next time they repositioned the router and that didnt work and they charged us Im waiting for the contract to end and never look back on the disgrace of a internet provider.

Stay away from this so called Irish communication company because they are the a disgrace.

The worst customer service in history. Shocking signal when you need it and always charge you more than your bill is.

I am going to do my best to disgrace this company.

This company is a joke

This company is a joke, a bad one. The service drops out constantly. When you contact their service customer they are ok in their attention, however nothing gets resolved. The technician came three times to my house I said to him the problem is the router. However he tested everything, but the router. He said the problem is the maximum speed so I had to called the and reduced my speed limit to 80 instead of a 100, that is what I pay for. And... of course, after reducing speed it's not working! Now I have to call them again to change the router and they will give me another excuse , as usual. Worst part is that they charged me for a router that didn't work when they installed on this address, the router the put here did not work so the guy in their customer service told me to use the one from the old house. I did and then they charged me for it saying I did not return my old router, when I explained the situation they said that was not their problem. 90 quid taken from my account.
Stay away from this jokers!!!

Rats

They'll do anything to get money out of you including misleading you into deals they have with little info given & leaving out information that should be shared. I learned that after these rats took money out of my card without any authorization by me.
They can go to hell, do not go near them or waste your time with them.

Terrible customer service

My parents had a very bad experience with eir. They seem to have no working processes in place to deal with customer service. At least 14 calls were made trying to cancel a rolling monthly service which was no longer suitable, along with multiple emails and chats. At one point the "service" representative at the other end of the call left them on hold after 6pm and then hung up without warning. I would advise people to stay well away from eir who obviously have no idea what customer service is.

Awful service

Awful service. If you want to leave or unlock your phone, their website is a masterpiece of Kafkaesque proportions. Their webchat puts you through to the wrong sections before walking you through scripted answers designed to get you nowhere, other than pointing you back to the main website or customer support pages which throw you into a loop time after time. Eventually, after millions of angels have sacrificed themselves and you've sworn to Jesus to devote your life to killing Satan's spawn, you will stumble across a fledging call centre newbie whose soul hasn't been sucked dry and spat out with derision - you will recognise this person by the smile in their voice that has somehow managed to evade the Eir protocol demons. You must seize this opportunity with as much haste as you can muster, you only have minutes before this person will be seized upon and destroyed. With luck, they will have uploaded your request before they have been dispatched. You will never hear from this person again. Good luck. And may your God go with you.

The worst customer service I have ever…

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Chat and other online customer service portals are often down and it is virtually impossible to talk to anyone by phone. You are left holding for thirty minutes or more and then the call is dropped. On one occasion I tried the complaints number, waited twenty five minutes and then someone picked up the phone and immediately hung up on me without either of us even speaking. I decided to cancel my subscription but couldn't get to talk to anyone. I ended up having to use the complaints form to notify them that I was leaving. I was an internet customer and was out of contract with them and as internet services are paid for a month in advance I was in credit when I stopped using their service. That was nearly two months ago and I am now receiving messages regarding unpaid bills. COMREG is the next step.
