DHL lost my original order, but the team at The Electrical Counter were prompt in acknowledging and sorting a replacement. They didn't make me wait until DHL's claims process was finished, nor made the experience more tricky than it needed to be. A fair price, and great customer service.

Good easy to follow online catalogue with plenty of ranges to choose from and competitive pricing too. Customer service excellent from confirmation of order, up dating on delivery schedule through to receipt of goods. First experience with this company and am already looking to purchase further items. So far cannot fault them.

Great product very professional

Extremely slow with sending order, did not keep me up to date with issue of items not being in stock even though website says in stock. Did not call me back, I had to chase.
I understand that people are busy but informing customers is important.

I ordered 4 off MCB's on 7/9/2026, all 4 were shown on their website with a GREEN TICK, and said 2-3 days delivery, CEF had given a 5-7 day delivery so I purchased from TEC.
After 4 days my order hadn't arrived so I phoned, turns out 2 off were not in stock but would be sent on the following Monday, but it took until the 19th to get sent, arriving on the 21st 14 days!!
Upon arrival 2 were wrong, they had sent 40A instead of 4A, even although all of their previous paperwork was showing the correct 4A. I contacted them and they said they would look into it for me, however the following day I got a message asking me to send them photos to prove that I was telling the truth!! and allow them to progress my claim.
It then took till the 23rd to send the correct ones, I finally got the correct ones delivered on the 25th, 18 days after my order that was meant to be in stock with a 2-3 day delivery shown.
Had I went with CEF I would have possibly got them in 5-7 days and saved myself the £8.49 carriage costs.
Even when I was on the phone to TEC their website was still showing a GREEN TICK and showing a 2-3 day delivery, even when they were still telling me they were out of stock.
About time they updated their website to show actual real time stock levels (other companies do this), and trained their storeroom operatives how to check incoming deliveries against their own orders before sending out to customers, but again I guess once they've got your money they don't care.

Ordering through the website was simple. The price of the items was very reasonable as was the postal fees. A telephone number was provided should you need to contact the company. I did need to phone to check on when my purchase would be deliverd and was pleasantly surprised to hear an actual person on the other end of the line instead of an AI bot. I was informed that fresh stocks were due in that day and my order woulkd be shipped the next day latest. As it was I received the goods via DHL in the early afternoon of the day after my call. Very pleased with the goods and service provided.

First class assistance on the phone re my order which arrived the next day. A happy customer.
