If I could rate empire sheds 0 stars I would. Don’t waste your money buying one of their sheds. Quality is poor. Bought a 5x10ft shed from them, There’s holes in the timber, gaps in the tongue and groove panels, split timber and 70% of the panels were out of square on my shed. I complained and requested a partial refund and I have been told firstly, it was installed incorrectly, I was also told that the holes in the timber are to be expected, the split in the timber and gaps in the panelling was completely ignored and When I proved that the panels are out of square I was told that the base the shed was built on isn’t level. I built the base myself purposely to sit and shed on. The base is perfectly level. Avoid buying one of these poor quality flimsy sheds and take your money elsewhere

What a phenomenal, beyond perfect experience with this company. I mean off the scale beyond anything I expected. Where to begin? First, delivery. Wow! Spotlessly clean, very well organised van, lovely, caring, helpful gentleman delivering - could not do enough for me. He helped me take it to the side of my house and made sure that he took all the really heavy things. So kind. I had a very different experience with the market leader (the one that advertises everywhere). Second, the quality of the shed. We bought the Empire 5000 10x7 Pent Garden Shed with Central Double Door. This is the best quality shed I have ever seen. It came in panels - each one perfect. Not a single thing wrong with ANY of them. Everything beautifully measured, treated, no flaws, no warping - just completely PERFECT. Really good quality wood. Literally not one thing wrong. Third, building. Wow! Talk about easy. Except for the base, the whole thing is built for you. I am gob smacked about just thoughtful and well built all this is. You follow the instructions, which are an absolute joy, and it goes up faultlessly. Fourth, the end product. It is BEAUTIFUL. This is the first shed we have ever bought where the doors actually line up - EVERYTHING lines up. Literally, everything. Fifth. Empire is the ONLY company that has this size: the X7ft. Brilliant. Finally, customer service. Before I left this review I called them. I wanted to see how long it took to answer the phone, and whether they were caring. The phone was answered within 2 rings. This was the CS number, not sales. 2 rings" TWO! A gentleman answered and he could not have been more lovely. I explained I was just ringing to say thank you. I read the reviews and I really struggle to understand what on earth they are talking about. We have three other sheds, a summer house and a log cabin. This is BY FAR the best designed of any of them. Empire sheds is a phenomenal company - all I can say is thank you. Five stars PLUS PLUS PLUS. ***** VERY ***** highly recommended - and without qualification.

Bought a 4x5 mobility scooter shed, I've been battling with them through Robert Dyas for over a month to get it collected and refunded. Its a really poorly constructed and made of cheap wood, the weight of the door makes the whole shed lean at an angle. They keep delaying in response, presumably to wrangle out of it being within the returns window.

Bought an 8x10 shed for approximately £1,000 2yrs ago directly from Empire sheds. The quality is awful. The wood in the t&g panels has shrunk and warped - there are multiple gaps in the panels so the shed now isn't weatherproof.

When we erected the shed, even though it was pressure treated we also gave it a coat of wood treatment to help protect it for longer. We've sent pictures and descriptions to Empire sheds but they aren't willing to do anything. The life expectancy of a shed is a minimum of 8-10yrs, not two.

If you're looking for a shed, buy elsewhere, this is cheap rubbish sold at a higher price, and Empire sheds aren't willing to help if anything is wrong.

Visited the warehouse and was shown all the sheds they make. Very knowledgeable and advised what’s best for what I wanted. No hard selling!! Order 7*7 treated apex shed. Beautiful looking shed, sturdy and perfect in size. Excellent customer service and kept informed about delivery. Paid extra for the shed to be erected really nice guys and very quick. From time of ordering to delivery/ erection one week. After care services excellent, emailed for help on what paint/ preserver needed after initial drying time for treated wood and came back to me via email within a couple of days.

Got 8x7 shiplap pent shed paid £429.00 through wayfair hasn't lasted 12 months most of the t and g have gaps in when sunny when it rains it swells that much the blanks are forcing them self's apart wayfair gave a little refund last year but its just got worse n worse

7' x 3' Pent Bike Shed. Very pleased with new bike store ordered direct from Empire Sheds. Very friendly and helpful delivery driver (? Michael). Relatively easy to assemble and quality what I expected for the price. Comfortably fits two 29" bikes. Have painted the outside and everyone impressed with the finished product.

Ordered 7/9 working days phoned 10 days later the Tuesday promise delivery in three day so phoned again on Wednesday told me guarantee Friday 100% got a text on Friday telling me Monday phoned company again this time said it was courier fault going with different delivery company will be Monday nothing they could do about it will see if this happens told them when I ordered I had to have when they state as I’m disabled have to get someone to dismantle old shed and build new one as mobility scooter need storage dry worker came night before took down old shed 11 days so far it’s sat in the rain
Absolutely no mention of compensation for my hassles end of the day something I saved up for got excited now just so deflated cannot believe anything there telling me now

So very disappointed with our shed.
1. We ordered through Wilko who said it would be delivered 'on or before 29th July'. I called Empire on 29th July as I had not had any delivery information. The person I spoke to was very nice and offered to keep the shed 'at no extra cost' until we returned from holiday. I think he missed the point that we had planned to put the shed up the weekend before we went away. Luckily it was delivered on the Friday.
2. Delivery was a dash and run. No explanation as to why we were given 6' lengths rather than the 4' lengths stated, just a note on the form and supposedly 'sort it out yourself'. You will need a saw and expect rough edges.
3. No means of waterproofing the shed - a neighbour (builder) came over to tell us that it wouldn't be water tight if we didn't use some waterproofing.
4. The build has taken 3 days. I wasn't expecting to have to felt the roof.

We do not recommend this product

The only good thing about this company and shed was a very quick delivery. I believe within 2 weeks it got delivered and driver was friendly and helped to bring it over into back garden. Other than this, everything else was a bad experience. Few pieces of the shed did not fit and I had to alter it and cut the ends of, etc to make it fit together. I spend much longer than I should have on the installation. After spending a full day on it I finally finished and when I got in contact with customer service couple days later, they told me they can send replacement parts for the shed.. I don't know in what world that is acceptable offer, when the shed is already built and I would need to remove the roof and everything? That was unacceptable, then I got offered £30 good gesture of will, which is 2-3% of the shed, I rejected it and didn't hear from them after that. ... After painting the shed with high quality paint, many of the boards separated from each other (shrunk) and left many gaps in between. So I ended up with worse shed than I had before... I should have listened to other people and built it myself.

Ordered shed on Monday and it was delivered Thursday at 07:00! Very simple to assemble and have had zero issues so far.

Bought an Empire Shed via B and Q order confirmed, payment taken, delivery initiated, delivery confirmed then cancelled by Empire stating wrong code given by B and Q. As far as Empire concerned end of matter B and Q had several different versions I had cancelled wrong, Empire cancelled as no stock. B and Q dispute that what they did say was in stock but item had increased in price code listed code sent to Empore was correct and verified as if a new order at higher price obvious sharp practise on behalf of Empire in collaboration with B and Q I would avoid both if you want honesty and clarity

Fantastic customer service! Great value product, fast delivery and great communication from the driver. Arrived 1st thing this morning and the base and shed was constructed shortly after! Top marks for Empire Sheds!! Keep up the good work 👏

Absolutely disgusting, very sneaky company. I brought a shed from here and a year later the shed is seeping in water and the contents of my shed is mouldy. It was not clear on the website that I had to treat/paint the wood myself. The company also take no responsibility for this poor quality.

Delivery experience was very disappointing. The delivery window provided was 7am–2pm, yet the driver arrived around 6am!!! Dark outside, quiet, people still sleeping… Shed parts were left in the garden, the doorbell was rung and I also received a phone call, which woke my two small children and disturbed neighbours.

This is completely unacceptable for a residential delivery and well outside the stated time window. I will update my review once I’ve assessed the quality of the shed itself.

Their pressure treated sheds aren’t even water tight. Doesn’t say anything on the listings on their website about needing extra treatment but rain seeps through the wood and now it’s mouldy inside.

Shed was delivered one week after purchase as arranged.
Instructions were easy to follow. All parts in place and went together well.
Really happy with how the shed has turned out.
Took me around 4 hours to put it together on my own.

Ordered shed from B&Q took a few weeks to come received delivery driver was nice but very rushed and when unloading it was like gravity got really heavy was slaiming it down luckily no damage not really impressed with the floor or roof made from chipboard the floor not even solid so laid plywood over it and roof was saggy also not tall enough i had to raise the roof by 4 inches so I could actually walk in to the back of the shed but otherwise it is all good only took a day to build it overall not bad

Terrible company to deal with. The miss the original delivery date and then tell you it is going to be delivered later. They then offer a 7hr delivery window and when you email them to say this is unacceptable they do not email you back. Bought through Robert Dyas and they are just as bad.

I ordered a 14x8ft pressure treated pent shed from Empire sheds which was delivered within a week by one of there drivers, who I must say was was very helpful and placed it in my back garden for me, exactly where i wanted it.
The build quality was very good for the money and it came with clear instructions and all of the fixings we needed and went together really easily.
Overall, I would highly recommend Empire Sheds.
