ETB TYRES Avis 

I had severe issues with the brakes on my car, locking out, rattling and slipping. Never understood whilst this suddenly started happening. Took my car to a different garage recently, to have the back Tyres changed, to then be told that the tyres that were currently on the front of my car were the wrong size which had been fitted by ETB Taunton the last time i had them replaced, which were 175 and should of been 155. So I had 2 Tyres on the back that were the right size but the Tyres on the front that were the wrong size putting my brakes completely out of balance, but after I had them changed, there was no longer an issue with the brakes. So thanks to ETB I had dodgy brakes. I had to again replace the front ones on top of paying for my other Tyres. I did get the brakes cleaned and checked to see if it made a difference initially, to which it didn’t so that was an extra cost. I have all the documents to prove their negligence and my current documents from the work that I had done recently to prove that they are accountable! What’s more important than the cost is that those morons not only put my life at risk but more importantly my 3 kids who’s lives were put at risk. I was driving to Cardiff before I had the problem resolved with my daughter in the car and I struggled to brake as they gave out to which I was struggling to stop at high speed. I hold you lot accountable for this.
Another thing, I can vouch for the other fella who waited 6 hours for his Tyres to be replaced, I took my car to ETB TAUNTON a few times for an MOT first thing in the morning as usual to which they didn’t complete until the next day, no phone calls or anything until the next day when that bald bloke who now works at kwik fit who had the audacity to get s****y with me cos I didn’t answer his call straight away the next day at like 4pm. Looks like a nice story for the gazette. Not to mention that I Could easily take em to court

Absolutely useless, told me they couldnt rear track the car, as the bolt s where seized, they hadn't touched them, charged me£48 for the front when they should just have left it, missed a broken control arm and the car still pulled to the left when I got moving. Couldn't recommend these guys for anything, thank goodness it walked away as I was going to get my a/c recharged too.

In my opinion the Chippenham branch could do with some customer care training.
Not impressed when the manager argues. There seemed to be rather a lot of that in the office… They might call it banter, but it seemed pretty pointed to me.
I was told the tyre pressures were incorrect on my rear tyres (as if it was my fault) and they kindly corrected it… But ETB fitted the tyres less than two weeks ago!
I happened to mention the car has two tyre pressure settings depending on load, but the guy wouldn’t have it.
The main issue is that I had taken the car in for a four-wheel alignment after having had suspension parts replaced.
Over a period of a couple of days they had four attempts at setting up the tracking.
In fairness the last guy did try pretty hard to sort the issue, but my steering wheel is still not straight when we took it for a test drive. I gave up and left as I had a prior engagement. I had already been there an hour and a half on this occasion. All in all a wasted £72!!

Great service again. Nothing is too much trouble. Good honest prices and brilliant staff. Highly recommended

Turned up unannounced at 09.00 with a broken spring, which was immediately ordered, and fitted at 14.00. One very happy customer. All the staff are friendly and efficient.

I took my car in for ETB to check tyres and wheel bearings as I could hear that a bearing was damaged, I explained I could hear it from the rear, I’d left it with them for the day, I had to call them for an update, I returned to collect for the manager to say they were 99% sure it was the N/S front, so I had the car up on a lift and had them checked to find the damaged bearing was the O/S rear, completely the opposite wheel. If you’re not going to check them or couldn’t just be honest about it, instead you lied. I trusted your judgement and went and bought a front bearing and wasted my hard earned money, You just lost a customer. Poor service, Well done!!!!

We had a service today for our Mazda CX5- the service was 5* and definitely 100% reliable and would recommend them to all our family and friends in Devon and Dorset area . Give them a try you won't be disappointed!!!!!!

I purchased online 2 tyres from an outside trader which included fitting at the nominated local garage, happen to be ETB Autocentres Tremont Garage - Llandrindod Wells. Everything went smoothly until one of tyres started deflating but only half way. After several pressure corrections I went back to the garage with the explanation what happens. I suggested it might be an insufficient seal, but it was instantly dismissed. There initial reaction was …. It surely is a puncture! Later they declared it wasn’t a puncture but faulty valve which is now replaced by a special one. This particular valve is very expensive, £40 a piece [sic!], but lacky me, they will charge only £20. I really felt as I was pickpocketed!
A day after I looked into the tyre (see photo) and realised the white grease smeared on the rim, which means it was the seal that was inappropriately applied in the first instance and now reapplied, not a faulty valve (£40???).
Actually, it happened to me a few years back in the same garage while they were Ford’s franchised dealer. The difference being that they reapplied the sealant (grease) and obviously with no charge.
… and don’t reply with your meaningless apologies, as I would not accept them!
Would I go back? Let s be anyone’s guess!

I have just had a clutch fitted at the Bridgnorth centre.
What a super team. Excellent service and excellent comms. Fixed price, no "oh we had to do this or that" and wow does the new clutch make a difference.

Andy at Farrier Street was extremely courteous & helpful calling me back when they had time to fit 2 new tyres. I returned to the depot & they were fitted promptly. Highly recommended business who have retained the local service ethos.

I bought four new Bridgestone Turanza tyres for a VW UP from ETB in Evesham just under three years ago. Since then the car has done less than 10,000 miles. As one might expect there is minimal tread wear. However there is considerable perishing or cracking between the treads. This cannot be right? It was noted during MOT last April 2023. The MOT inspector expressed concern that the tyres were cracked given their age and minimal mileage. A year on it is worse and I am concerned that it may be dangerous. I wondered if this was a common problem with Bridgestone tyres? ETB are going to return the tyres to Bridgestone for inspection, but I have to buy new replacement tyres while that is done. I understand from ETB that the process could take two months. I'm not happy and suggest ETB could liaise with Bridgestone using photographs/trade knowledge for an immediate decision and replacement.

My tyre pressure monitors were indicating faults. I rang ETB and they said to bring the car in. I only had to wait 10 minutes and one of their staff carried out a check and they were all okay but the tyre pressures were a bit low. He inflated the tires to the correct pressure and suggested I take the car for a drive to see if they reset. two of them reset almost immediately and the third corrected itself after a few miles. This took 15 minutes of somebody's time and there was no charge. I can't recommend ETB highly enough and I will definitely be returning when I need new tires. Thanks.

Third visit in a week but with my wife’s car this time. 4 new tyres and alignment all in good time and fair price. Great place

Absolutely excellent all round service.
First of all, I turned up this morning before 8, it was cold outside and they welcomed me in a few minutes early and were happy to do so!
They fitted two new tyres to my golf, no drama, nice straight forward job, polite, couldn't do enough and did all the work promptly.
The fitter "Nathan" (I believe) even checked my tracking and said it was fine already - nice to have honesty and attention to detail.
The lady at the counter was friendly and engaging first thing in the morning.
All in all, quite refreshing to turn up, be treated very well and get a great job!
Perfect business model!
The management must be proud of the level of service that is provided throughout the centre.
