Scam. Boring events, you pay a monthly fee and still have to pay fornthe events. Most events are canceled. Big rip off. Stay away

I enjoy the variety of activities that this group plans each month. I get to try new things and meet new people almost every event. I have formulated many new friendships even being a more introverted type of person. Highly recommend for singles to meet new people.

had to end my membership with Events & Adventures after a disturbing experience during the Memorial Day weekend trip. During that trip, several attendees were reportedly drugged. When I brought this to the company's attention, instead of taking meaningful action or offering support, I was abruptly removed from the Facebook chat group—where there had been conversations about bringing THC to the event.

This response was not only unprofessional but deeply troubling. Rather than addressing a serious safety concern, they appeared more interested in silencing me. I closed my credit card and stopped all payments because I no longer felt safe, respected, or valued as a member. I cannot recommend this organization to anyone who values accountability, transparency, or basic safety.

It's a fun club where people are cool. The activities are fun. It's a good place to make friends outside of your normal social circles. Lots of activities almost everyday and there are group trips too.

I joined after being single for years and struggling to find people to do things with. I also did not want to get on another dating website. I have made some of the best friends and had a relationship in my 1st year plus. The community the Atlanta group has formed is great and welcoming.. Relationship ended and I joined right back up knowing that this group will keep me happy and busy!

I signed up for Events and Adventures on March 3rd and went to just one event before realizing it wasn’t for me. When I tried to cancel, they told me I missed a 3-day cancellation window—something I was never clearly informed about. Instead of a simple cancellation, they’re now trying to charge me $2,500 to get out of it. No reminders. No notifications. Just vague contract language and pressure to pay.

This business model preys on vulnerable people looking for connection and then traps them with unethical billing practices. I feel completely scammed. Please think twice before signing anything with this company.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS! There's only one star so that I can write the review. This is an LGBTQ+ focused group in Dallas. The free venues require payment such as coffee houses and events hosted at people's home where they live. These fees are in addition to membership fees and the cost of actually participating in the event. So for about $3,000, you get information about where to meet a group of people are meeting.

Events and Adventures prays on the vulnerable. They lie to get people to sign. They use people’s pain to push a sale but they don’t really care about them or what impact the club will have on their lives. They just want money, plain and simple.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS!!! When I first talked to them I asked them about 4 times if I could cancel at anytime without a problem and they said yes. I went to one event and it was horrible plus I had just met my current girlfriend so I went to cancel. They are telling me I owe them $3000!!! I only went to one event that I paid over $300 for!!!!! They are telling me now you only have 3 days to cancel from first signing up which doesn’t even give you a chance to check out one event!!!! They will basically say anything to get you to sign up and talk about the worst customer service ever!!! This is one of the worst companies I’ve ever seen in my life I’m having to lawyer up.

They never activated my membership and they didn't run the payments through the credit card. I never use it and now just found out that they sent me to collections.

Terrible company, they scheduled an appt with me and never showed up, they were texting me before asking me all these personal questions, making sure I was going to show up for the appt and then they never did. The membership is pricey and they are very unprofessional. I DO NOT recommend.

The events and the people are both amazing.

If you live on the south side of ATL, E&A is a terrible option. 98% of events are far. WAY too expensive plus, the cost of gas, events, and wear and tear on your car are just a few things to consider. Basically, they just tell you things that are happening in Atlanta but not well planned to meet people. And just MAYBE actual men will show up.

F*** these people. They don’t accept felons. They are snot nosed ass wipes and hoe bags who think they can sh** all over the little man. Well well well. Things in this world are changing quick. Better get right with the Lord. Before you meet some HIV infected ass person from this website. Should have known it was bullcrap. They blocked me because I admitted I was a felon. Now you would think someone would appreciate my honesty. But now they are gonna see the wrath of Micheal the arc angel. And all the stupid f*** are in this club. F*** these people I am Queen of my own kind. Don’t need them at all. Oh well. Now soldiers get ready for battle. We have a war to win.

I was not welcomed or valued. Lead for my club cancelled an event after 10pm for a 9am event. After several poor experiences, lead was apathetic to multiple issues. Corporate said they would contact me to cancel and did not.

I don’t see very much to do like I used to on the calendar for Dallas folks. It’s just not very exciting anymore. I also don’t think its right to have non members on the FB page and especially at New Years last year the person who won the hotel package was a non member and if my memory serves me that person I think won two years in a row. I also think that the “click” of people always absorb the real limited sign ups and they are practically gone before the monthly post is sent out that a new month is open. It’s similar to like the insider trading scenario. So not fair to everyone else. Most of Dallas’s stuff is located up in areas that doesn’t make for central fairness in travel. I almost gave this site a 1 star but I didn’t want to be that person. I will say that I am a bit disappointed with E&A. I am not sure if a survey is going to change anything but I hope it will give some insight if your numbers are not where they need to be for sign ups and why. Best wishes.

Total scam. Membership fees are exorbitant and their venues are garbage. They also charge extra for most events and up charge whenever they feel like it. Save your money.

I join this group at first to find friends around my age because I am outsider, They told me there was going to be people of my age but most (if not all) of the people are more older (around 50, I am 30). Also I think the prices for the activities are very expensive, at list they should take a better prices, like a “group” price in the activities.
