Events and Adventures Avis 

Great opportunity to meet new people and do new things, or simply do things you might not care to do by yourself.

Obviously not everything will be your cup of tea whether it be the location or time.

The age group isn't what it seems...I was told it would have people in my age range primarily (20s-30s, some 40s, maybe the occasional 50 year old) but I would say at least 70% of the club is older than 40. That's fine, but it wasn't what I was looking for and I wish they'd been honest about the age distribution.

Nice people, fun event. Making friends and enjoying my time.

This was first travel experience with E&A, I felt welcomed by everyone and the staff at the hard rock.
I loved it.

ps. I am still waiting for my credit for the Shuttle from the airport.

The events are fun and the people are great. Wide variety of activities for everyone.

A lot of the events are extra money now. It's hard to spend several thousand to.join a club and then have to pay more to attend most of the events. Also, a lot of events are small and stay full and then I can't get in. Miss the open ones that anyone can join.

I like the events and I get to meet new people.

I really enjoy the events. I have stopped thinking of A&E as a dating opportunity. I have made friends with one other male. The women I’ve met in A&E are either too young, divorced, widowed, or have been in domestic violence relationships. All of whom are guarded. I’ll continue to attend the events, get familiar with places to take a date, and try to find other places to meet women to date.

Joining Events and Adventures has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Most of my best friends I met in Events and Adventures. I have a built in social calendar of fun events that I didn’t have to plan or invite people to, and I never have to feel like a fifth wheel. I get to meet new and interesting people regularly and discover places I be never been to.

Great events and planning and overall great experience

I have met a lot of really nice people. Almost all my friends are married or has significant others. I can only bother them so many times to go out and do something with me before I drive them crazy. I like that there is always something to do with events and adventures and meet great people while doing it too.

Calender has been horrible for the past 2 to 3 months. There are days we didn't have events and the events that were offered were not interesting or incredibly expensive that very few people could afford the events. Event manager was difficult to get ahold of.

This is a great place to meet new people and have an awesome time. You have to be social to get the full experience, though. The hosts normally do a great job getting people to meet each other, but they can’t force conversations. 90% of the events have been really good for me. I have had some I found that I don’t like that much, it will take trying things to get you to understand what you do and don’t like. There are active and sit down events. Once you figure out what you like, you tend to meet like minded people and it helps grow friendships/relationships. You get out what you put in, and find really cool places to go during that process.

I love being part of this group! I have made wonderful friends and attended events in parts of town I wouldn't have even known about if they hadn't been on the calendar!

Vacations were grossly overpriced, events were rarely new and interesting ideas. Poor organization. I'd say about 33% of the event were good. There seemed to be a new effort and life coming in, but I just found better things to do quite literally alone often. The racing, range, dancing, archery events, skydiving, paddle boarding events were great, but far and few between.

There is always new and exciting things to do with this group. I started going on the international trips and they are a blast! Full of activities and culture. Highly recommend!

National Singles Day was this past Saturday, and E&A Boston held a “Stoplight Party”. Wear red if you’re taken, yellow if “it’s complicated”, and green if you’re single/available. (Naturally, almost everyone wore some green!) We had a private room with a great DJ, our hostess provided apps, the bar staff were attentive, and everyone has a really terrific time! Most of the crowd was in their mid-30s to early 50s and it was great getting to meet some new faces and dance with some real cuties! Everyone has been talking about what an awesome event it was and hoping we do more member mixers like that one! Well done, E&A!!

The one out of state trip was worthwhile. All in state events were full of shy, quiet, basic people not really interested in stretching, and not people I was excited to meet. Meetup would have done the job, and been much nicer cost, since each event also had a fee.
