Ridiculous. Fandango made it look like I was buying an entire series but it was just one season. Attempted refund on the chat but while I was typing the “chat assistant” ended the chat. Now on hold for a rep. Guess I’m out $30.

The worst of the worst
on 11/17/2025 i went to purchase tickets for Wicked at the theater in Westbury NY. The tickets confirmed the date of 11/19/2025. After the purchase I had my daughter confirm the tickets on her cell phone. They were for 11/17/2025 and the show was starting in 10 minutes. Upon contacting customer service and being given the runaround for 15 minutes I was told "The show already started there's nothing we can do" not even an exchange. No wonder they have the worst reviews on the internet. I want my money refunded!!!!
Customer service is useless!
Please don't make the same mistake I did & bother interacting with customer service useless! I email, chat online & even called! They keep asking for the same info I keep providing I reply to their email and just read very small font it says reply to support@vudu com!!!! WTF!!!! They don't say that at all I'm over a month now losing my patience. I will definitely not deal with them again if this ever gets fixed!!!! F**** Fandango! Scam to make sure they don't refund tickets
I had tried to cancel my tickets before the scheduled movie time by calling their customer service with minutes to spare. Given their automated responses, it took enough minutes before I could talk to a representative, that I was just past the movie start time when I asked to speak to a representative. Then that rep took at least 5 minutes to take my information and explain my options, before then telling me I was too late. And then trying to get a refund processed by escalating my complaint, has been stonewalled. I RECOMMEND THAT NO PERSON EVER BUY TICKETS THROUGH FANDANGO.

This company sold me a ticket for the wrong showing that I requested, and then refused to change it to the correct show. They processed my ticket after the start time of the movie. I had put in a &;30 show but when my browser refreshed it changed it to a movie already in progress. DON'T USE FANDANGO!!!!!

I have been using this platform since before it was Vudu. The new Fandango platform sucks. I wish I could transfer everything out at this point. If I want to purchase anything new I now go to other sources. Please don't waste your money on a platform that doesn't care about its users. Fandango has shown over and over again it only cares for its consumer until it has your money.

I received tickets from Fandango on The View. When I went to redeem, it said they had already been redeemed in a completely different state then where I actually live. I contacted Fandango and they gave me the run around and one person actually just ended our conversation. They said they would escalate the issue and get back to me, which they NEVER did. Their customer service is absolutely horrible. Do NOT USE FANDANGO.
Avoid FanClub at all costs
Avoid FanClub at all costs! Multiple times I've tried to use a promo code that they promised by email only to find out that it doesn't work. The latest excuse they're using is that the promo has been used up by other users but there's nothing in the promo email that says "while supplies last." This is typical of this deceptive company that always overpromises and underdelivers.

However I received a refund for the ticket price but not for the convenience fees. Since the event was canceled and no service was provided, I requested that the full charge — including the convenience fees — be refunded to my original payment method.

We bought our movie tickets through Fandango, and went to our local cinema. Something was wrong with the movie, so it was cancelled after 15 minutes. When we asked for our money back, the cinema said we had to go through Fandango, since that's where we bought our tickets. Fandango would not refund our money.

You’re app is dog crap you can’t watch anything on a computer but you can watch it perfectly fine on your phone and there’s 1 million other steps you have to go through just to watch a movie that supposedly free but doesn’t show up that way on your phone. it’s a completely useless app. It’s worth it just to spend money to watch the movie. It’s not worth a headache.
Poor Customer Service for Fandango at Home
The customer service for "Fandango at Home" is extremely poor, and perhaps the word "service" should not even be in that phrase. By "extremely poor," I mean that they don't have a solution for my issue, and seemingly no way to escalate it. As a result, I have received the same boilerplate message three times, requesting the same information regarding my account three times, information which I have already supplied twice before and now three times. After two weeks of mail exchanges, and two sessions in the chat, I'm no closer to resolution than I was two weeks ago.
fandango stole my money
I purchased movie tickets through my Fandango app for October 4th that Saturday, and I ended up with tickets for October 3rd that Friday. I was at work when I was ordering the tickets on that Friday for Saturday. Even i noticed app had changed my movie date to Friday I called Fandango immediately to let them know that the app was glitching and changed my movie to Friday Instead of Saturday, I came and was time it was too late for a refund, huh, the movie great was for my kids and I and that cost me $50.76. First call, the guy said he was escalating my complaint...within hours. Fandango denied my request for a refund. I had already repurchased the tickets for Saturday via computer this time... while I was not being refunded the $50 I had already paid. Because their app had glitched out on me while I was trying to order tickets. Mind you There is not a lot of ways to purchase tickets. You can't go directly through the theater these days unless you take a chance and purchase once you get there. So then I called again the following week to dispute their denial of refund, and the guy told me he was sending me an email with resubmitting my request. He never did, so I went through my PayPal, and they temporarily refunded me some under investigation. I'm just disgusted with Fandango. I feel like they're trying to rip people off. It makes no sense to not have any other negotiating disputes in place after a movie starts. Went would i order movie tickets for the same time in at work in my office then turn around and order for the correct day. They need something in place that can prove that they there was an error with all like the forcing that happened to me i go do my research and she enough there are finds if complaints of this. But the people that are in their customer service are in place to deny you any type of assistance. And then there's no one else you can talk to you, literally just have to wait on someone who's trained to not care about your issue. They're just trying to keep people's money.It's disgusting.I'm a single mother and I have to pay for so much already colleges, teen sports, car payments, etc....I don't have any extra money to just giving away i won't scrotum this type of our customer service. Fifty dollars is crazy work!
I rented a movie off of Fadango
I rented a movie off of Fadango. I received confirmation that the movie was rented. When I went to my Fandango library it showed that the movie was rented, but there was nothing on the screen to let me play the movie. I was on the phone with their customer service from 10pm to 1120 pm last night and was unable to resolve the problem. The people are hard to understand and very ignorant. I was on the phone again today for an hour, was transfered to 3 different people. Finally I got a supervisor on the phone and she agreed to order a refund. DO NOT RENT MOVIES FROM FANDANGO!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Stay away from Fandango. I purchased 2 movie tickets and when I arrived to the theater I found the parking that is usually free was now $30. I tried to request a refund or even a credit toward my next movie purchase and was basically told to go f myself. Even worse, the customer service is processed through Salesforce, another BS company. I am immediately deleting my app and account. Stay Away.
No help! No Grace!
I accidentally chose the wrong day when ordering tickets. Immediately realized my mistake and contacted customer service. They would not refund, exchange, or discount. ZERO help. Additionally, when I ordered the correct tickets directly from the theatre site it was cheaper!!! I paid Fandango $4 CONVENIENCE FEE. Not sure what that's for! It WAS NOT convenient!
